Program enrollment issue, no response from support
Hi everyone, I’m running into a frustrating issue with the Apple Developer Program and would really appreciate any advice. I was charged $99 USD for the membership and received the confirmation email saying it would be processed within 2 business days. However, I still don’t have access to the membership, and nothing has been activated on my account. What makes it worse — I’ve already tried contacting Apple support multiple times via email, but I haven’t received any response at all. So right now I’m stuck: payment went through, but no membership and no support response. Has anyone faced this before? Did your membership eventually activate on its own? Is there any way to actually reach Apple support (chat, phone, anything that works)? Should I escalate this somehow or request a refund through my bank? Any advice would really help — I feel like I’m just shouting into the void at this point. Thanks 🙏

Multiple Apple Pay relationships with differing apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association files
I've encountered an issue where we need multiple domain associations with separate Apple Pay implementations. Briefly, we have a /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association already setup with Stripe, and now we need another, different version of the file to get setup with FreedomPay. FreedomPay insists this file represents a three-way relationship between all parties and I have no reason to disbelieve them. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this or if there is a standard procedure. I'm currently trying to find documentation on the exact way Apple Pay verification interacts with this file to see if we can produce it dynamically.

DeviceActivityReportExtension: NSExtensionPrincipalClass required by App Store but rejected at runtime
I'm experiencing a contradictory validation issue with DeviceActivityReportExtension that creates an impossible situation: The Problem: Without NSExtensionPrincipalClass in Info.plist → App Store Connect rejects upload with: "Missing Info.plist values. No values for NSExtensionMainStoryboard or NSExtensionPrincipalClass found" With NSExtensionPrincipalClass → Local install fails with: "defines either an NSExtensionMainStoryboard or NSExtensionPrincipalClass key, which is not allowed for the extension point com.apple.deviceactivityui.report-extension" Setup: Extension point: com.apple.deviceactivityui.report-extension Using SwiftUI with @main attribute and DeviceActivityReportExtension protocol Xcode 16.2, iOS 17.6 deployment target Code structure: @main struct SpoolReport: DeviceActivityReportExtension { var body: some DeviceActivityReportScene { // Report scenes here } } The extension builds and runs perfectly without NSExtensionPrincipalClass, but cannot be uploaded to App Store Connect. Adding the key allows upload but breaks local installation. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround or correct Info.plist configuration for DeviceActivityReportExtension? Thank you!

test NEAppProxyProvider without MDM?
This discussion is for iOS/iPadOS. I've written an NEAppProxyProvider network extension. I'd like to test it. I thought that using the "NETestAppMapping" dictionary was a way to get there, but when I try to instantiate an NEAppProxyProviderManager to try to install stuff, the console tells me "must be MDM managed" and I get nowhere. So can someone tell me, can I at least test the idea without needing to first get MDM going? I'd like to know if how I'm approaching the core problem even makes sense. My custom application needs to stream video, via the SRT protocol, to some place like youtube or castr. The problem is that in the environment we are in (big convention centers), our devices are on a LAN, but the connection from the LAN out to the rest of the world just sucks. Surprisingly, cellular has better performance. So I am trying to do the perverse thing of forcing traffix that is NOT local to go out over cellular. And traffic that is completely local (i.e. talking to a purely local server/other devices on the LAN) happens over ethernet. [To simplify things, wifi is not connected.] Is an app proxy the right tool for this? Is there any other tool? Unfortunately, I cannot rewrite the code to force everything through Apple's Network framework, which is the one place I know we can say "use cellular." [E.g. URLSession() has absolutely no way of forcing cellular, and even so, the low level streaming library I use is written with raw sockets, and its not feasible for me to rewrite it.] Any other suggestions of how to accomplish this "send non-local traffic to cellular, all local traffic out over ethernet" gratefully welcomed!

Orphaned 9GB Simulator Runtime in /System/Library/AssetsV2 - Cannot Delete (SIP protected)
I have an orphaned asset folder taking up 9.13GB located at: /System/Library/AssetsV2/com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime/c0d3fd05106683ba0b3680d4d1afec65f098d700.asset It contains SimulatorRuntimeAsset version 18.5 (Build 22F77). Active Version: My current Xcode setup is using version 26.2 (Build 23C54). I checked the plist files in the directory and found what seems to be the cause of the issue: The "Never Collected" Flag: The Info.plist inside the orphaned asset folder explicitly sets the garbage collection behavior to "NeverCollected": <key>__AssetDefaultGarbageCollectionBehavior</key> <string>NeverCollected</string> The Catalog Mismatch: The master catalog file (com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime.xml) in the parent directory only lists the new version (26.2). Because the old version (18.5) is missing from this XML, Xcode and mobileassetd seem to have lost track of it entirely. What I Have Tried (All Failed) Xcode Components: The version 18.5 does not appear in Settings -> Components, so I cannot delete it via the GUI. Simctl: xcrun simctl list runtimes does not list this version. Running xcrun simctl runtime delete 22F77 fails with: "No runtime disk images or bundles found matching '22F77'." Manual Deletion: sudo rm -rf [path] fails with "Operation not permitted", presumably because /System/Library/AssetsV2 is SIP-protected. Third-party Tools: Apps like DevCleaner do not detect this runtime (likely because they only scan ~/Library or /Library, not /System/Library). Has anyone found a way to force the system (perhaps via mobileassetd or a specific xcrun flag) to re-evaluate this folder and respect a deletion request? I am trying to avoid booting into Recovery Mode just to delete a cache file. Any insights on how AssetsV2 handles these "orphaned" files would be appreciated.

Device Token Not Invalidated After App Uninstall (iOS 26.4 Beta)
Hello, We are experiencing an issue related to push notifications after updating devices to iOS 26.4 Beta. Our system stores push notification tokens on the server by associating the device token with the device’s IDFV in the app. After updating a device to iOS 26.4 Beta, we observed that the device token from a previously uninstalled version of the app remains valid for more than a week. As a result, two push notifications are delivered to the same device. The situation is as follows: The user installs the app and a device token is generated. The user uninstalls the app. Later, the user installs the app again and a new device token is generated. However, the previous device token does not become invalid, even after more than a week. Because IDFV changes when the app is reinstalled, our server cannot determine that the device belongs to the same user. Therefore, we cannot overwrite the old token with the new one on the server side. Could you please advise: Is this behavior expected in iOS 26.4 Beta? How long does it normally take for a device token to become invalid after an app is uninstalled? What is the recommended approach to prevent duplicate push notifications in this situation? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Best regards

Bug: Wi-Fi Aware (NAN) Subscriber Mode: nwPath.availableInterfaces Does Not Include nan0 Interface After Successful Peer Connection
When using the official Wi-Fi Aware demo app on iOS, with the iOS device configured as a NAN Subscriber, after successfully establishing a peer-to-peer connection with another device via Wi-Fi Aware (NAN), the network path object nwPath.availableInterfaces does not list the nan0 virtual network interface. The nan0 interface is the dedicated NAN (Neighbor Aware Networking) interface used for Wi-Fi Aware data communication. Its absence from availableInterfaces prevents the app from correctly identifying/using the NAN data path, breaking expected Wi-Fi Aware data transmission logic. log: iOS works as subscriber: [onPathUpdate] newPath.availableInterfaces: ["en0"] iOS works as publisher: [onPathUpdate] newPath.availableInterfaces: ["nan0"]

Apps stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over a month – never entering “In Review”
Hello, I’m experiencing a very unusual issue with App Store Connect and I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar. For more than a month now, none of my app submissions are progressing past “Waiting for Review.” Normally my apps enter the “In Review” stage within a few days, but since early February this simply doesn’t happen. As a result: • I cannot release bug fixes • I cannot ship updates • I cannot publish new apps I have already tried: • withdrawing and resubmitting the app • submitting multiple updates • requesting an expedite review However, every submission just stays in Waiting for Review indefinitely. This seems to affect all apps in my developer account, not just a specific app. Has anyone experienced something like this recently? Could this be related to an account-level issue or something on Apple’s side? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Swipe to go back still broken with Zoom navigation transition.
When you use .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "placeholder", in: placehoder)) for navigation animation, going back using the swipe gesture is still very buggy on IOS26. I know it has been mentioned in other places like here: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/796805?answerId=856846022#856846022 but nothing seems to have been done to fix this issue. Here is a video showing the bug comparing when the back button is used vs swipe to go back: https://imgur.com/a/JgEusRH I wish there was a way to at least disable the swipe back gesture until this bug is fixed.

‌Xcode26-built apps cannot run on iPhone 6 or earlier devices‌
‌Using Xcode 26, the built package encounters device compatibility issues — while it installs successfully on supported iPhone devices, but it crashes immediately upon launch and cannot run normally.‌‌In previous versions of Xcode, the same "minimum deployment" setting in the project did not cause such compatibility issues.‌ The app built with Xcode 26 shows the following behavior when installed and tested on various devices:‌ iPhone6p iOS12.5.8 fails to run 2.iPhone6 iOS11 fails to run 3.Iphone6 iOS12.5.7 fails to run 4.iPhone7 iOS12.1.3 ok 5.iPhoneX iOS 12.2 ok 6.iphone6s plus iOS10.3.1 ok 7.iphoneXS. iOS 12.1.4 ok 8.iPhone11 iOS 13.6.1 ok 9.iPhone7. iOS 13.7 ok We have tested and found that an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 10.3.1 can normally run the app. We would like to know whether apps built with Xcode 26 are inherently incompatible with iPhone 6 and older devices. Has Xcode 26’s underlying build environment removed full support for the A8 chip, resulting in binary files containing instructions or memory models that older devices cannot parse? ‌Looking forward to your reply‌.

libswiftCompatibilitySpan.dylib missing in XCode 26.3
A macOS privileged helper tool that uses SubProcess crashes on intel Macs (running macOS 13 - 15: unable to test on macOS 26 on intel) with the error that libswiftCompatibilitySpan.dylib cannot be loaded when built with XCode 26.3. The same helper tool works as expected with XCode 26.2. The helper is installed using SMAppService. When I remove the dependency for SubProcess, the crash no longer occurs (but important functionality is also disabled).

Potential Structural Swift Concurrency Issue: unsafeForcedSync called from Swift Concurrent context
I occasionally get this error in Xcode’s console: Potential Structural Swift Concurrency Issue: unsafeForcedSync called from Swift Concurrent context. What does this mean, and how can I resolve it? Googling it doesn’t turn up any results. This doesn't crash the app - it’s just an error diagnostic that I see in the Xcode console. The app keeps running before and after the issue. Is there a way I can set a breakpoint to catch this where it happens?

Xcode 26 fails to load SPM packages
For me it looks like Xcode 26 has problems reading SPM packages from a locally hosted BitBucket git solution. While Xcode 16 work perfectly fine, Xcode 26 fails to load and gives "Server SSH Fingerprint Failed to Verify" as error description. Cleaning build data and DerivedData sometimes makes loading work. Any change in Package dependencies will break it again. Anyone having same problems? How do you handle it?

In App Store Connect I've uploaded a new build about 11 hours ago and but I'm unable to distribute the App to my tester groups - including internal. The internal group is grayed out. I am able to Select an External group but they actually do not receive any email notification nor do they see any update within their TestFlight App. I've attempted to upload the build a few times, including old builds which had been distributed in the past to no avail. I'm not able to distribute to any tester group, please advise.

Random global network outage triggered by NEFilterDataProvider extension – only reboot helps, reinstall doesn't
I’m encountering a persistent issue with my Network Extension (specifically NEFilterDataProvider) and would really appreciate any insights. The extension generally works as expected, but after some time — especially after sleep/wake cycles or network changes — a global network outage occurs. During this state, no network traffic works: pings fail, browsers can’t load pages, etc. As soon as I stop the extension (by disabling it in System Preferences), the network immediately recovers. If I re-enable it, the outage returns instantly. I’ve also noticed that once this happens, the extension stops receiving callbacks like handleNewFlow(), and reinstalling the app or restarting the extension doesn’t help. The only thing that resolves the issue is rebooting the system. After reboot, the extension works fine again — until the problem reoccurs later. I asked AI about this behavior, and it suggested the possibility that the kernel might have marked the extension as untrusted, causing the system to intentionally block all network traffic as a safety mechanism. Has anyone experienced similar behavior with NEFilterDataProvider? Could there be a way to detect or prevent this state without rebooting? Is there any logging or diagnostic data I should collect when it happens again? Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Bonjour Conformance Test WARNING in Multicast DNS SHARED REPLY TIMING resolution
Hello and Good day! We are conducting Bonjour Conformance Test (BCT) for Printer device. From RFC6762 6. Responding, Ideal range is from 20ms-120ms Because of this, please advise on the questions below: I would like to know on the possible cause and resolution for these WARNINGS. And since in current BCT result, (Test result integrity signature is generated), I would like to know if this is acceptable for BCT certification. Thank you.

App Store doesn't display English among available languages for my new app
I published several apps in the past that display the correct languages in the App Store, but my newest app, which has English as the default development language in Xcode, displays all languages set in Xcode except English. My other projects seem to be set up in the exact same way, except they display correctly. What could be the issue? Xcode project info: Localizable.xcstrings (English is also fully localized): App Store Connect website: App Store page (my Mac has the primary language set to Italian):

Unable to Add Internal Groups to TestFlight Builds / Cannot distribute
In App Store Connect I've uploaded a new build about 11 hours ago and but I'm unable to distribute the App to my tester groups - including internal. The internal group is grayed out. I am able to Select an External group but they actually do not receive any email notification nor do they see any update within their TestFlight App. I've attempted to upload the build a few times, including old builds which had been distributed in the past to no avail. I'm not able to distribute to any tester group, please advise.

Title Notarization submissions stuck “In Progress” for 5+ days (SwiftUI macOS menu bar app)
Notarization submissions stuck “In Progress” for 5+ days (SwiftUI macOS menu bar app) Hello, I’m experiencing an issue where all notarization submissions remain “In Progress” for several days. Environment macOS native app written in Swift / SwiftUI Menu bar application Built with Xcode Developer ID Application signing Hardened Runtime enabled App Sandbox disabled Uses SMAppService for “Start at Login” Artifact structure ClaudeUsageTracker.zip └ ClaudeUsageTracker.app (no nested directory) Verification codesign --verify --deep --strict --verbose=2 ClaudeUsageTracker.app This succeeds without errors. Notarization submissions 2026-03-06 — In Progress ID=215814fc-57c5-4f99-88fe-ed2db4d3e3d9 2026-03-06 — In Progress ID=70948178-191c-4840-a9c7-52c321b725e5 2026-03-09 — In Progress ID=14a88b79-df4d-4d83-9bfe-fa6eafc9bf76 All submissions remain In Progress for 5+ days, and notarytool log is not available yet. Command used xcrun notarytool submit ClaudeUsageTracker.zip \ --keychain-profile "notarytool-profile" The app is a small utility and the archive is only a few MB. Is there a known issue with the notarization queue or with accounts getting stuck in a processing state? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
