Xcode 26.3 RC - Claude Agent returns "Your request couldn't be completed"
Environment: Xcode 26.3 RC macOS 26.3 (25D125) (Apple Silicon / arm64) Setup: Xcode > Settings > Intelligence > Claude Agent: Signed In (account status shows "Signed In") Model: Default Steps to reproduce: Open a new chat in Xcode's Coding Assistant Select "Claude Agent" from the agent dropdown (instead of "Claude Sonnet 4.5") Send any message (e.g. "HI") Expected result: Claude Agent responds normally. Actual result: The message is sent but immediately returns the error: "Your request couldn't be completed." 🚩I have an active Claude Code subscription with remaining usage. Running claude in Terminal works perfectly, confirming the subscription and quota are valid.

SwiftUI toolbar with IDs crash since macOS 15
I understand this is a known issue, but it’s truly unacceptable that it remains unresolved. Allowing users to customize toolbars is a fundamental macOS feature, and it has been broken since the release of macOS 15. How is it possible that this issue persists even in macOS 15.3 beta (24D5040f)? FB15513599 import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { @State private var showEditItem = false var body: some View { VStack { VStack { Text("Instructions to reproduce the crash") .font(.title) .padding() Text(""" 1. Click on "Toggle Item" 2. In the menu go to File > New Window 3. In new window, click on "Toggle Item" """) } .padding() Button { showEditItem.toggle() } label: { Text("Toggle Item") } } .padding() .toolbar(id: "main") { ToolbarItem(id: "new") { Button { } label: { Text("New…") } } if showEditItem { ToolbarItem(id: "edit") { Button { } label: { Text("Edit…") } } } } } }

Network issues in macOS 26.4 (25E5218f)
Since updating to macOS 26.4 developerbeta 2 I've been getting full loss of dns resolution. I am not running a VPN or any network extensions that I am aware of. I'm not sure how to report this in the feedback utility as I cannot find an appropriate category for it. Happy to file it if someone can give an appropriate suggestion - the closest I could see was Wi-Fi but that wanted Wi-Fi logs for the issue, which I do not believe to be needed as this is not a Wi-Fi connectivity issue. Running dig example.com +short nslookup example.com ping example.com Gives the following output 104.18.27.120 104.18.26.120 Server: 10.0.1.1 Address: 10.0.1.1#53 \ Non-authoritative answer: Name: example.com Address: 104.18.26.120 Name: example.com Address: 104.18.27.120 \ ping: cannot resolve example.com: Unknown host This shows it's not an issue with my local network and that core networking is working, but something in the mDNSResponder/dns stack of macOS is failing. This causes all apps/browsers that do not implement their own DNS lookups to fail (Chrome still works). Sometimes the issue clears after running the following commands (for a period), sometimes it does not. A restart always resolves the issue temporarily. sudo killall -9 mDNSResponder sudo killall -9 mDNSResponderHelper sudo dscacheutil -flushcache sudo ifconfig en0 down sudo ifconfig en0 up

tvOS alternative app icons
Does anyone know if alternate app icons are actually supposed to work for Apple TV projects? We tried to set this up, and while it works in Debug, we run into validation errors when uploading the app to App Store Connect. Is this feature officially supported on tvOS, or is it iOS-only?

Apple developer program payment failure - "Your payment authorisation failed on card"
Hi team, I am having an issue with paying for my apple developer enrolment program. Error message is: Your payment authorisation failed on card XXXX. Please verify your information and try again, or try another payment method. Things I have tried and has not worked: Multiple company visa card Multiple personal visa card Ensuring billing address matches my visa cards Turn off VPN Try my personal IOS device My company and personal cards should work because I have paid for other products and apple products with it. Calls on Assistive Access not working
I recently got a new iPhone for my mom so that she could have Assistive Access due to her declining cognitive health. I selected the family members she calls the most as her favorites, but when attempting to call some of said family members (myself included), nothing happens. It works for about half the contacts, and not for the other half. I’m her main caregiver so it’s pretty ironic that I’m one of the ones it doesn’t work with. I’ve tried exiting and re-entering Assistive Access, deleting and re-adding all the contacts, restarting the phone, force-restarting the phone, and checking if the iOS is the most recent update (it is). Nothing works. Please help.

My Apple Developer Membership is a Schrödinger's Paradox
I think I’ve discovered a quantum paradox in the enrollment process. On February 3rd, I paid for my membership. Since then, my account has been in a "Schrödinger's State": It exists (because the payment was successful and my ID was verified weeks ago) It doesn't exist (because it’s still stuck on "Pending" and I can't access any developer tools) It’s been 31 days, and the box is still closed. But I really hope not many people are in this situation, has anyone else faced something similar? How did you resolve it? I’d love to finally start publishing…

Unable to get a call back from Apple dev support
Hi, I've been trying to get a call back from apple on a couple of issues but I'm unable to do so. The "Call" button in the contact us form keeps appearing and disappearing at random times. Since I'm in India, I believe the Singaporean team handles the developer support queries. The operating hours mentioned on apple's website are 09:00–17:00 SGT but the "call" button's appearance and disappearance is NOT at all according to this. Now when I was finally able to login into apple developer support at the right time (when call button was visible), and entered my details to get a call back from them. It says "We're calling you shortly" but I receive no call at all. It's been two hours since that. Previously, when i requested a call back for other issues, I got the call immediately. Now it's been so long and there's still no call. And the thing is, I'm also unable to request a call back again for the same issue until some time passes. I think there's some sort of cooldown. The phone/call button disappears again and I'm only left with the email option. Which I NEVER got a reply from unless it's after a call back. There's also no way to call developer support directly. I tried calling back on the number i previously received the call from, but it gets connected to normal support and they say they cannot transfer or connect the call with the developer support team. I don't know what to do. I urge apple to kindly look into this issue and kindly fix it as soon as possible.

Swiftui Map Leagal Text is transformed when rotationEffect is applied to Map
I have a problem when applying rotationEffect to a map in in SwiftUI. The legal text in the map is transformed as shown in this image: The following code is part of a much larger and complex view; it is a minimal example to reproduce the error: import SwiftUI import MapKit struct ContentView: View { @State private var offset = CGSize.zero var body: some View { ZStack { let drag = DragGesture() .onChanged { g in offset.width = g.translation.width offset.height = g.translation.height } Map(interactionModes: [.zoom]) .frame(width: 320, height: 220) .rotationEffect(.degrees(Double(offset.width / 12))) .highPriorityGesture(drag) } } } I hope you can help me with this problem.

Apple Developer Program enrollment pending for 2 weeks — no charge, no response to support ticket
Hi, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program approximately 2 weeks ago and my enrollment is still pending. I have not been charged the annual fee and I submitted a support ticket which has received no response. I'm a solo developer based in South Africa looking to publish my first iOS app. Is there anything I can do to move this along, or is this wait time normal? My support ticket has gone unanswered and I can't find a direct contact number to resolve this. Any help appreciated.

What risks do you think indie iOS developers face in 2026?
I’m interested in hearing what currently concerns other indie iOS developers, as 2026 feels both exciting and somewhat fragile to me, with the constant worry that an Apple account issue or unexpected rejection could undo years of hard work overnight. AI has made cloning apps easier than ever and even strong niches can quickly attract well funded competitors, so while I’m optimistic about building, these are the realities I often find myself thinking about.

BackgroundLocationIndicator Bubble in iOS26
I display the BackgroundLocationIndicator (blue/white bubble in status bar) in all my apps, that use background location service. Up to iOS 18 it allowed the user to tap on the bubble from within any other non fullscreen app and bring the app using the background location service to the foreground. In iOS26 this only works from the home screen. Is this intended behaviour or a bug ? If intended, please provide us with an option to allow the user to keep the pre iOS26 behavour. This was a quite convenient shortcut to jump directly to the locationservice using app.

How have App Store ranking factors evolved in 2026 for iOS apps
When I update my app name, the App Store URL also changes, and since the app URL contributes to ASO performance, this is a concern for me. I would like to know whether it is possible to change the app name without affecting the URL, or if the previous URL automatically redirects to the new one.

In iOS26 this only works from the home screen. Is this intended behaviour or a bug ? If intended, please provide us with an option to allow the user to keep the pre iOS26 behavour. This was a quite convenient shortcut to jump directly to the locationservice using app.
