"Unable to Add for Review" DAC7 Error, can no longer submit App Updates
Hello everyone, Since roughly 12 hours i can no longer submit updated to my Apps, i always get a "Unable to Add for Review" with "To submit new apps or avoid potential payment blocks, add compliance information for Directive on Administrative Cooperation–7th Amendment (DAC7).". I of course already a few weeks ago went to the Business sections and selected "No" as it does not apply to us. I tried a lot but cannot make submissions work. I also contacted the Apple support but got no Feedback yet, does anyone have the same issue? What i tried: Switching DAC7 from No to Yes and then back to No again Private Browsing (Cache reset) Checked all other Agreementes, all is fine and "active" I fail to see any issue and assume it is an Apple central issue as they 1st of April rolled out the new DAC7 compliance check. With many greetings Robert

Digital service act is stuck on “in review” status
I've submitted my Digital Service Act a month and a half ago, but it is currently stuck in the "In Review" state. Because of this pending status, my app has been removed from the European storefronts, specifically Germany. I got an email saying the issue was promoted to a senior and the senior responded that she transferred it to the engineering team. i have customers waiting and it really hurts my business, what can i do? I don’t understand why there’s a need for engineering team for this issue, I just need someone to look at it and approve / reject the request If the support here or anyone can help it would be the best news for me, Thank you for that matter.

Featuring Nominations
Hello, I have a few questions regarding App Store featuring nominations. -When do applicants receive a response to their nominations? -How is this response provided? Is it via the App Store Connect app page, email, or the nominations section? -For an already published app, can an application for App Launch Nomination submitted 1-2 days after publication be accepted? It says applications must be submitted 3-4 weeks before publication. Thank you for help.

Odd search results for my Yatzy game app
If you do a search on the App Store for my app name "YatzyVibe". My app is listed amongst 'baby' and 'pregnancy' apps. Does anyone know what is causing the App Store search process to list my YatzyVibe (dice game) app amongst 'baby' and 'pregnancy' apps? Why isn't it listed amongst Yatzy Game apps? My app name: YatzyVibe Subtitle: No internet needed! Keywords: offline, dice, yatzy, yahtzee, bluetooth, multiplayer, travel, cruise, plane,no internet, family Developer Name: Andrew W. Wesolowski Support URL: https://newbornsoftware.com Bundle ID: com.newbornsoftware.yatzyvibe My app Description does NOT contain any references to 'baby' or 'pregnancy' but does contain: Terms of Use (EULA): https://newbornsoftware.com/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://newbornsoftware.com/privacy.html Any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue so that: 1. A direct search for "YatzyVibe" takes a user directly to my app 2. Searching for my YatzyVibe app, will result in it being listed amongst other Yatzy type game apps and NOT 'baby' and 'pregnancy' apps. Any help would be appreciated. BTW... I did contact Developer Support via email and their response was not very useful (attached below): Thank you for contacting Developer Support, my name is Jessica and I am so happy to provide you with support today! Transaction.currentEntitlements returns empty for offer code subscriptions redeemed via Safari
Users who redeemed offer codes via the Safari URL template (apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=...) have active subscriptions confirmed in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions (expiring April 2027). However, Transaction.currentEntitlements returns zero results in the app. AppStore.sync() has been called. Transaction.all also returns no Production transactions. The offer “Radius Inner Circle” is configured as: Free for the first year, does not auto-renew, and is tied to a yearly auto-renewable subscription product. Approximately 20 production users are affected. The subscription exists on Apple’s servers but never appears in the StoreKit 2 local transaction database. Is there a known issue with offer codes redeemed via Safari not populating Transaction.currentEntitlements? Is there an alternative API to query subscription status server-side? App ID: 6760574186 Bundle ID: com.michaelhills.Radius

How to refund a user's purchase after they have been declined twice?
Hi everyone, Recently, a user purchased an annual subscription in one of my apps but hasn’t used the service much (I track usage through my backend). The user emailed me saying the purchase was made by mistake and had already submitted refund requests through the report portal. However, the requests were declined twice, and they can no longer submit another refund request. I suspect this may be because, in RevenueCat, I previously set the developer preference for refunds to “Prefer to decline,” due to users abusing AI trials. I have since changed the refund preference to “Prefer to grant,” but the user is no longer able to request a refund. May I know how I should proceed in this situation? I’ve already contacted Apple, but I’d appreciate hearing how others handle similar cases. Thanks!

Directive on Administrative Cooperation - 7th Amendment ? (I need clarification about this)
Hey In my Business -> Compliance, Section. I found this: Directive on Administrative Cooperation - 7th Amendment " Personal services are time- or task-based work done by people (independently or for an entity) at a user's request, and enabled by a platform. These could be services delivered online or in-person by tradespeople, tutors, transportation, delivery, and other professionals. " I don't know what to answer, Yes or no. Questions: So AiChats are/is telling me that this might be only to ask if my APP(s) are like Uber and similar, letting users provide services in exhange of money? If yes, responding to this compliance form, what would it provoke? Would I have to somehow force the app and users to be able to register as companies instead of normal users, all because they are offering services and perhaps gettings money value from it? For now I am not making such apps, the app I have let people give other food (for free). BUT IF ONE DAY i introduced the money service side of it, and I have to respond to this compliance form, I would be obligated to do what? Knowing that my account is a personal account, BUT I have a small solo company in my name so I consider my personal dev account as usable. I wonder if any of this is connected and would like to know prior and learn more. Everything to know. Thanks

App Store Distribution – Minimum Deployment Targets (iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS) with XCode 26

Music streaming app with external payment only – EEA compliance question
Hi everyone, I'm developing a music streaming app for iOS and I have a question about App Store guidelines before I submit. Here's how my app works: The app has a signup screen and a login screen There are NO in-app purchases at all Users pay for their subscription on our external website (a separate web app) Once they've paid on the website, they log into the iOS app to listen to music The app itself contains no payment flow, just an external link directing users to our website to subscribe My company is based in France (EU/EEA). My questions: Is this external-payment-only model permitted under current App Store Review Guidelines? Since I'm in the EEA, do I need to apply for an External Purchase Link Entitlement (StoreKit External Purchase Link), or can I operate without it since payment happens entirely outside the app? Is there a difference between simply not having any payment in the app vs. actively linking users out to a website for payment? I want to get this right before submitting. Any guidance from Apple engineers or developers who've dealt with this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

How flexible is my app's age rating?
My current app is a smoking cessation app and it is desgined to help people quit smoking for good. Currently users of the app are expected to set a quit date and then remain quit from cigarettes for 12 weeks. The app helps with this by using badges, notifications and even live chats to stop smoking professionals (depending on your area). The app "frequently" mentions smoking and tobacco, but it never promotes it. It does the opposite. By mentioning the harms of smoking and the benefits of stopping. The app also mentions (and can provide, depending on your area, medical history and a professionals final opinion) about nicotine replacement therapy, which users who are quitting smoking may be interested in. Currently the app is rated 18+ as I have to tick "frequent" mention of drugs/tobacco/alcohol in the age rating questionnaire. Though it does not mention recreational drugs or alcohol. We will soon be adding a large update to the app to add vaping support. The app will change largely in the fact smoking content and vaping content will be siloed from each other. So a user can either be on a smoking support journey (and see stop smoking content), or a vape support journey (and only see vaping content). We need the app to be 13+ on the store and we will enforce age restrictions using the declared age range API as part of the account creation process. If the user is aged 13 - 17, they will only see vape related content, if they are 18+ they can see vaping OR smoking. How negotiable is the age rating certificate, can we change it to 13+ if we implement age restrictions in the app and protect stop smoking related content behind it?

Stuck in 'Ready for distribution'
I'm trying to release my first app (so may be missing something obvious), but it passed review 4 days ago and has been 'Ready for distribution' since then without going live. Is this normal, or am I missing some step I have to take? I saw another thread that mentioned setting pricing, but I've done that. TIA

Are there practical limitations (e.g., device limits, performance differences, or provisioning renewal requirements) that could impact extended testing?
