Can't enter sandbox environment for IAP testing on any of my apps - always getting -100 error with no [Environment: Sandbox] indicator
Body: I'm experiencing a persistent issue that has affected multiple apps I've developed, and I'm hoping to get some guidance from the community or Apple engineers. The Problem: When testing In-App Purchases, my app never enters the sandbox environment. The payment prompt does NOT show the "[Environment: Sandbox]" indicator, and I always receive error code -100 (Invalid Product Identifier). This issue has occurred across multiple apps I've built, including a previous app that I ultimately had to release as a paid download (rather than freemium with IAP) because I couldn't resolve this same problem. Now I'm facing the identical issue with my new app, "AI Job Assistant". What I've Checked (all correct): ✅ Paid App Agreement status is "Active" in App Store Connect ✅ Bundle ID matches exactly between Xcode/HBuilderX and App Store Connect ✅ Product IDs in code match those created in App Store Connect (case-sensitive, no spaces) ✅ All IAP products have complete metadata (name, description, pricing, 640x920 screenshot) ✅ Product status is "Ready to Submit" (not "Waiting for Review") ✅ I have both iOS Development certificate and iOS Distribution certificate — I am using the Development certificate for testing ✅ My provisioning profile is explicitly for Development (named "aijobDevprofile", shows "iOS Development" type) ✅ The Development profile contains my test device UDID ✅ I have fully signed out of my real Apple ID in Settings → Media & Purchases ✅ I only log into my Sandbox Tester account through the purchase prompt (not in Settings) ✅ I test on a real device (not simulator) ✅ I have tried creating multiple new Sandbox Tester accounts ✅ I have tried toggling "Cleared for Sale" off and on for all products ✅ I have waited over 24 hours after making configuration changes What I See: When I initiate a purchase, the payment prompt comes up but there is NO "[Environment: Sandbox]" text anywhere After entering my Sandbox Tester credentials, the request fails with error code -100 (Invalid Product Identifier) My Setup: Development framework: uni-app / HBuilderX (custom debug base with Development certificate and Development provisioning profile) Backend: Cloudflare Workers (handles receipt verification) Testing device: iPhone (latest iOS version) The same issue occurred with my previous app, which I never resolved and eventually gave up on IAP entirely Question: Why does my app never enter the sandbox environment despite using the correct Development certificate and Development provisioning profile? Is it possible there is an issue at the Apple developer account level that is preventing sandbox environment activation? How can I force my debug builds to connect to sandbox instead of production? I am willing to provide any additional logs or information needed. Please help. Thank you.

Provisioning profile missing `com.apple.developer.shazamkit` despite App Services checkbox enabled (Team MCN4U9B2K4)
Hi all, and particularly @Eskimo if you spot this — I believe I'm reproducing the backend issuance bug reported in thread 816377 (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/816377) on a different Team ID and would like a second pair of eyes before I burn a TSI. Feedback Assistant filed as FB22582333. Team ID: MCN4U9B2K4 · Bundle ID: com.michaeltocco.Sanbox · Xcode 17 · iOS 18.5 · Automatic signing Setup App ID com.michaeltocco.Sanbox has ShazamKit ticked in App Services; persists through portal reloads. Local entitlements file declares com.apple.developer.shazamkit = YES only (no MusicKit client entitlement, per DTS guidance in thread 799000: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/799000). CODE_SIGN_ENTITLEMENTS set in both Debug and Release XCBuildConfiguration buildSettings. NSMicrophoneUsageDescription and NSAppleMusicUsageDescription are both present in the generated Info.plist. What Xcode reports After wiping DerivedData and any Sanbox-matching profiles and running xcodebuild … -allowProvisioningUpdates -destination 'generic/platform=iOS': error: Entitlement com.apple.developer.shazamkit not found and could not be included in profile. This likely is not a valid entitlement and should be removed from your entitlements file. (in target 'Sanbox' from project 'Sanbox') What I verified on the profile Apple just issued $ security cms -D -i 0596f302-….mobileprovision | plutil -extract Entitlements xml1 -o - - shows only the baseline four entitlements — application-identifier, keychain-access-groups, get-task-allow, com.apple.developer.team-identifier. com.apple.developer.shazamkit is absent, which is exactly what thread 816377 describes. What I've already tried Deleted and recreated the App ID from scratch — same symptom. Performed the capability-toggle trick (uncheck ShazamKit → Save → wait 60s → re-check → Save → delete local profiles → rebuild) documented in the "Capability & entitlement updates" help page (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/help/account/reference/capability-entitlement-updates/) for the Game Center precedent — same symptom. Confirmed I am building for device, not Simulator. Confirmed the entitlement key name matches DTS guidance in thread 799000 and the live profile dumps in thread 816377. Runtime confirmation When I force a build with only the team wildcard profile, SHManagedSession().result() returns com.apple.ShazamKit Code=202 "Missing entitlements", wrapping an AMS 306 wrapping HTTP 401 from api.shazam.apple.com/v1/catalog/US/match. AMS server correlation key: E5VYL5YSUT4L55KQDDP4MJQAZE. So the server side is consistent: the token the client presents lacks ShazamKit scope because the binary doesn't carry the entitlement, and the binary doesn't carry it because Apple isn't issuing it into the profile. Question Is there a configuration step beyond "tick ShazamKit in App Services" that I've missed for Individual-program accounts, or is this the same backend issuance pathology as thread 816377? Happy to share the security cms output, the decoded plist, the build log, or anything else useful. Thanks.

Tap to Pay on iPhone – Provisioning profile missing entitlement when uploading to TestFlight
Hi everyone, I’m currently implementing Tap to Pay on iPhone following Apple’s official documentation. I’ve completed all the required configurations (entitlements, capabilities, merchant setup, etc.) on the Apple Developer portal. However, when I archive the app and attempt to upload it to TestFlight, I receive the following error: "Profile doesn't support Tap to Pay on iPhone. Profile doesn't include the com.apple.developer.proximity-reader.payment.acceptance entitlement." From what I understand, this seems related to the provisioning profile not including the required entitlement, even though I believe everything has been configured correctly. I have already tried: Regenerating provisioning profiles Verifying App ID capabilities Ensuring the correct entitlements are added in the project But the issue still persists. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there any additional approval step required from Apple to enable the Tap to Pay entitlement? I’d really appreciate any advice or experience you can share. Thanks in advance!

Provisioning profiles marked "Ineligible" for Contactless Pass Provisioning even though entitlement is present in profile
We are seeing what looks like a signing / managed-capability mismatch for Contactless Pass Provisioning. Environment Team ID: S7AUTD2C2B Bundle IDs: com.swiftpass.ios com.swiftpass.ios.dev Xcode: 26.4 macOS: 26.4 Problem Our app has had Contactless Pass Provisioning approved by Apple for a long time, and builds were working until a few days ago. Without any intentional signing/capability changes on our side, Xcode started failing with the following error: Provisioning profile "Swiftpass prod Appstore" doesn't include the Contactless Pass Provisioning capability. Contactless Pass Provisioning capability needs to be assigned to your team and bundle identifier by Apple in order to be included in a profile. Observed behavior Xcode marks the relevant provisioning profiles as "Ineligible" in the profile selector. This affects both development/debug and release/App Store builds. If we remove Contactless Pass Provisioning from the app entitlements/capabilities, the exact same profiles immediately become eligible and the signing error disappears. Important detail The downloaded provisioning profiles already contain the entitlement that Xcode claims is missing. We verified the downloaded profile with: security cms -D -i /Users/sergej/Downloads/Swiftpass_prod_Appstore\(1\).mobileprovision and it contains: <key>com.apple.developer.contactless-payment-pass-provisioning</key> <array> <string>shareablecredential</string> </array> So the issue appears to be that the profile contents look correct the capability is still present in the developer portal but Xcode's eligibility check still says the profile does not include the capability What we verified Contactless Pass Provisioning is still enabled for the App ID in the Apple Developer portal Newly recreated / redownloaded profiles still contain the entitlement Both dev and distribution profiles are affected The behavior is reproducible across profile refreshes and local cleanup What we already tried Reinstalled Xcode Updated Xcode and macOS Updated command line tools Cleaned DerivedData Deleted local provisioning profile cache Refreshed/redownloaded profiles from Xcode Recreated provisioning profiles in the developer portal Removed and re-added the capability in Xcode Expected behavior If the downloaded provisioning profile contains com.apple.developer.contactless-payment-pass-provisioning, Xcode should treat that profile as eligible. Actual behavior Xcode reports that the capability is missing and marks the profile as ineligible, even though the entitlement is present in the downloaded profile. Question Has anyone seen this specific mismatch with Contactless Pass Provisioning or other managed capabilities? This currently looks like either: an Apple backend/App ID capability-assignment sync problem, or an Xcode eligibility-validation bug for managed capabilities Feedback Assistant ID: FB22439399. It contains screenshots that showcase the issue as well.

Distribution Methods - Ad-Hoc vs Debugging Validity
We’re planning to distribute our app outside of TestFlight because our testing period is expected to exceed the 90-day limit. Since we have an Apple Developer account, we’re considering using either Ad Hoc distribution or direct installation (debug/development builds) for longer-term testing. I have a few questions regarding this approach: Ad Hoc Distribution Validity What is the effective validity period of an Ad Hoc build? We’re aiming for long-term testing (4-5 months) and would like to avoid unexpected expiration—are there any constraints we should be aware of? Development/Debug Build Expiry & Limitations If we distribute the app using a development (debug) build via provisioning profiles, what is the expiration timeline? Are there practical limitations (e.g., device limits, performance differences, or provisioning renewal requirements) that could impact extended testing? Potential Complications & Best Practices Are there any issues we should anticipate when using these distribution methods for long-term testing? For example: Provisioning profile or certificate expiration Device registration limits Any policy or compliance considerations with Apple We’d appreciate any guidance or best practices for managing long-term testing outside of TestFlight while staying within Apple’s guidelines.

Enterprise distribution profile not working for enterprise app
Our enterprise App (Loan Signature) is distributed to our corporate Ipads using JAMP. We use provisioning profile and certificate along with the IPA file to push the builds. Our current disstribution profile is expiring on 23d April 2026 and we wanted to update the Profile. So we created a new provisioning profile (Enterprise V9, along with a new ceritificate that ends on April 1st 2029). The enterprise provisioning profile is created in the same way as the old one which is called Enterprise V8. However when we use JAMP to upload the certificate and our current production version of app, it is not working. The app would not load and it would complain that the app is not available. I was told by the JAMF administrators that the profile could be wrong and I have no way to find out. Any help in this regard will really be helpful.

com.apple.developer.mail-client entitlement issue
We have an app with the default email entitlement that was granted several years ago. During our latest deployment, we received an error from our pipeline. When testing a manual submission in Xcode, we saw this error: Entitlement com.apple.developer.mail-client not found and could not be included in profile. This likely is not a valid entitlement and should be removed from your entitlements file. We checked the provisioning profile, and the default email entitlement is still present. It is visible on the certificate portal and also in the embedded.mobileprovision file. Can you suggest what we can do to release a new version of our app?

Active Membership but Xcode shows "Red X" at Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles
Hi everyone, I am struggling with a persistent issue regarding my Developer Program membership and Xcode syncing. Even though the Apple Developer Portal shows that my developer license is active and I have full access to App Store Connect, it is unfortunately not possible to sign applications with this account. It behaves as if the license wasn't active. The Symptoms: -Portal status: Active (Account Holder/Admin), -Xcode Settings: When I navigate to Settings > Accounts and select my team, there is a Red X displayed next to "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.", Xcode suggests there is an issue accessing these resources and I cannot sign any binaries. Confirmed the membership is active in the web portal. Everything seems configured correctly on the web side, but the account simply doesn't work locally in Xcode. Has anyone faced this specific "Red X" issue despite a valid membership? Is there a specific cache I need to clear or a way to force Xcode to re-fetch the correct status? Any advice on how to resolve this loop would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Is there any way to check if iOS Enterprise App is allowed in devices >= iOS18?
Hello, I'm working in the team with 70 i(Pad)OS test devices running 24/7, and 40 of them are iOS 18 or 26. The problem is: for enterprise apps to be tested (signed with ADEP inhouse profile) the devices over iOS 18 require Enterprise App developers to be allowed at least once with physical control on-device after reboot, which is quite burdensome because we put all the devices in the restricted area, supposed to be used from the remote. Devices are logged into Apple ID for the prevention of Activation Lock but no preparation nor management via MDM over Apple Configurator 2. Is there any binary, tool, app that can check (letting us allow devices for those developers would be even better) if the Enterprise App developer(s) are allowed for the device via terminal or VNC?

Inquiry regarding Local Push Connectivity Entitlement
Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your support. I have reviewed the documentation for Local Push Connectivity (see URL below) and, following the instruction in the "Important" section to "Request this entitlement from the Entitlement Request Page," I completed the application process for this Entitlement on March 11, 2026. [Local push connectivity] https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/networkextension/local-push-connectivity?language=objc#Supporting-APNs-and-local-push-connectivity-in-one-app Subsequently, on March 13, 2026, I received the following reply from Apple: Sub : Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement From: Local Push Review Sent: Friday, March 13, 2026 4:09 AM Hi, Thank you for your interest in the Local Push Connectivity entitlement. Your entitlement request has been approved for: Team ID: NWKYYYYYYY Technical documentation on this API is available here: -(Omission) - Best Regards, Apple Developer Relations My understanding is that upon approval of this application, an "Entitlements" field should be added to the input fields for creating provisioning profiles. However, as of today(March 18, 2026), it has not yet been added. Will the Entitlements field be added if I simply wait? My account (Apple ID), which submitted the application, belongs to three Team IDs. For convenience, I will refer to them as Team ID SV3XXXXXXX, Team ID NWKYYYYYYY, and Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ. The application status for Entitlements for each Team ID is as follows: Team ID SV3XXXXXXX Entitlements: Present. Applied for Entitlements on February 6, 2021. (Received "Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement" email on February 6, 2021) Team ID NWKYYYYYYY Entitlements: Not present. Applied for Entitlements on March 13, 2026. (Received "Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement" email on March 13, 2026) Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ Entitlements: Present. No record (email) of applying for Entitlements. Because of this, I am concerned that the Entitlements applied for Team ID NWKYYYYYYY may have been mistakenly granted to Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ, and I am inquiring about this. Will the Entitlements field for Team ID NWKYYYYYYY be added if I simply wait? Thank you in advance.

Provisioning profile missing entitlement: com.apple.developer.icloud
Hi, I do have a strange behavior in my development environment on a Mac mini (M4) running 26.2 and Xcode 26.3. Everything was working as expected. My project had a stable state and I wanted to enable iCloud support. As result I could not run the app any more because code signing failed with the message that my profile does not include the above entitlement. On my notebook (M2) with XCode 26.3 everything is working. Im am using GIT and both computers have identical code. The code compiling and running on my notebook will not run any more on my Max mini. Any help to find what might have broken the code signing and how it could be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Red "X" showing up for Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles in xcode
I've upgraded to a new Macbook recently, just when I was setting up my Xcode, I realized I there is a this red "X" showing up next to my development team as I was signing in to my account I have checked my permission on App Store Connect, everything seemed fine. I have also deleted my old Apple development certificate and requested for another one. Nothing worked.

Missing Entitlement com.apple.developer.wireless-insights.service-predictions in Enterprise Program Provisioning Profiles, Available in Individual Account
Apple has introduced the Wireless Insights Service Predictions capability in iOS 26. After prior alignment with Apple engineers, we are working to integrate this capability into the Douyin App, and intend to provide a TestFlight build for Apple engineers to validate and debug the integration. We have encountered a blocking issue with entitlement configuration: We use our Apple Developer Enterprise Program account to build and submit TestFlight builds. When we manually create and configure provisioning profiles via the Apple Developer Portal, the required entitlement key com.apple.developer.wireless-insights.service-predictions is not available for selection or inclusion in the profile's Entitlements. This completely blocks us from enabling, using, and validating the Wireless Insights Service Predictions capability. For comparison, when we use our Apple Developer Program individual account, the entitlement com.apple.developer.wireless-insights.service-predictions is fully available. It is automatically included in provisioning profiles generated for local debugging, and can also be manually added to custom provisioning profiles via the Apple Developer Portal without issues. We request assistance to resolve this entitlement access discrepancy for our Enterprise Program account, so that we can complete the integration and provide the TestFlight build for validation as planned.

app crashes
the iOS app store package's entitlements file has an issue. After updating to a new version to fix the entitlements file, the app still crashes upon opening but can function normally after a restart. What methods can the app side use to resolve this entitlements file issue without requiring a restart to open and use the app properly?

App Store Connect API ProfileCreateRequest is missing template property
Hi, In the web portal of aninterestingwebsite.com when you create or edit a provisioning profile there is a possibility to set "Entitlements", which is I understand also called as "Template". Our project has such entitlements, like NSE Filtering or CarPlay. But in the ProfileCreateRequest https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/profilecreaterequest there is no possibility to provide such parameter, this is why we are not able to automate our flow of provisioning profile update. Is there any workaround? Or maybe I need to fill a request to improve this API?

how to handle setup for NFC without NDEF & PACE and still support iOS 15.0
We have NFC capabilties enabled for our app ID - com.uob.mightyvn but our minimum deployment target is 15.0. We do not have an option deselect PACE from provisioning profile. Hence, the validation is failed for IPA. Invalid entitlement for core nfc framework. The sdk version '18.2' and min OS version '15.0' are not compatible for the entitlement 'com.apple.developer.nfc.readersession.formats' because 'NDEF is disallowed'

Team Id Changed / Old Team Id Automatically Signs
Good afternoon, I have the latest version of Xcode. I am trying to debug why I am not able to Sign in with Apple Sign In on my app. After days of trying everything I just noticed today that the TeamID Xcode is using to automatically sign the app is not my current Team Id. I had a years hiatus and my code login expired. When I recreated my account I got a new Team Id and that is what is on all my certificates, profiles, etc. Old team id: Z82SJZ64R6 Current team id: 22649D52Q5. I take off automatically signing and select my Mac app bistro and iOS app distro and the app fully builds then Xcode crashes with an error that mentions security - Error code 5. Is there a way for me to change the old team id in Xcode? I've already tried logging out and back in through settings.

com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning missing in TestFlight build despite provisioning profile having it
In Xcode, under Signing & Capabilities (Release) for our bundle ID the selected provisioning profile does include the entitlement: com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning However, when we upload a new build to TestFlight, the Build Metadata → Entitlements section for the same bundle ID does not include com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning. Because of this, PKAddPaymentPassViewController does not open in TestFlight builds. This suggests that while the entitlement is enabled for the App ID and visible in Xcode, it may not yet be propagated to App Store Connect’s signing service for TestFlight/App Store builds. Please Note: The Wallet Entitlements team had confirmed that they had granted entitlements for our team and the apple IDs Xcode : 26.0.1 Profile being used: Distribution Profile

I've already tried logging out and back in through settings.

provision profile deleting from the file mac
I double-click it, and it doesn't install. I drag it to the provisioning profile folder, and it gets deleted immediately. It's an Apple Developer problem. I've already wiped my Mac clean twice and reinstalled everything, and I'm still having this problem.

com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning missing in TestFlight build despite provisioning profile having it
In Xcode, under Signing & Capabilities (Release) for our bundle ID the selected provisioning profile does include the entitlement: com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning However, when we upload a new build to TestFlight, the Build Metadata → Entitlements section for the same bundle ID does not include com.apple.developer.payment-pass-provisioning.
