Unexpected Ambisonics format
When trying to load an ambisonics file using this project: https://github.com/robertncoomber/NativeiOSAmbisonicPlayback/ I get "Unexpected Ambisonics format". Interestingly, loading a 3rd order ambisonics file works fine: let ambisonicLayoutTag = kAudioChannelLayoutTag_HOA_ACN_SN3D | 16 let AmbisonicLayout = AVAudioChannelLayout(layoutTag: ambisonicLayoutTag) let StereoLayout = AVAudioChannelLayout(layoutTag: kAudioChannelLayoutTag_Stereo) So it's purely related to the kAudioChannelLayoutTag_Ambisonic_B_Format

Dock Grid View folder jumps unexpectedly after opening with "Dock Magnification" enabled in Tahoe 26.4 RC
This is a generic, non-developer related macOS issue, but reporting here as well so it has more visibility since. It is an embarrassing bug that has not been fixed since the earliest versions of macOS Tahoe. Issue description: When Dock Magnification is enabled, the Dock Folder abruptly jumps approx. 10-15pixels down as the user moves the cursor after a brief pause). Video about the issue (see the last second of the small video and observe the entire grid popup jump abruptly): https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-tahoe-26-4-release-candidate-now-available.2479503/post-34494643 Related FB: FB20761846 (opened in October, 2025) The issue is easily reproducible and confirmed by many. The lack of this issue being fixed for so long is indicative in the eyes of many of the lack of attention to details in macOS Tahoe's Glass interface.

Multiple IAP products at different price points for same content — compliant with guidelines?
I'm building an app that sells non-consumable in-app purchases. I want to implement a partner/referral discount system using the following approach: Create multiple IAP products in App Store Connect for the same content at different price points (e.g. full price at €10, 10% off at €9, 20% off at €8) When a user enters a partner or referral code in the app, my backend validates the code and returns which product to present The user then completes the purchase through the standard StoreKit IAP flow — Apple processes the transaction normally at the discounted price No purchase is unlocked without going through Apple IAP. No external payment system is involved. The only difference from a standard purchase is which product SKU is shown based on a backend-validated code. My questions: Is this approach compliant with App Store guidelines? Is there any guideline that requires developers to use Apple's native Offer Codes system instead of this approach for discounted purchases? Any guidance would be appreciated before we invest in building this out.

Apple Pay with one domain and several PSP integration
We already have an apple pay integration with a psp.
We have a merchant id with an identity certificate, a processing certificate and merchant domains. We are working to integrate an other psp. This psp have one csr (processing certificate) by customer. All the payment will be processed on the same domain. We have understood that it is not possible to have different processing certificates for a merchant id. So we can not reused our existing merchant id.

On the other hand, it seems that it is not possible to have different merchant ids on the same domain (because of the domain verification). But all payments are processed on the same domain.

Do you think there is a solution ?
Is there a recommended workaround for this scenario?

Generating a new FPS certificate (SDK 26) alongside an existing SDK 4 certificate
Hi, Our client currently has an FPS deployment certificate generated with SDK version 4 that is still actively used in production. They would like to generate an additional certificate using SDK version 26. Before doing so, they just want to confirm: Will the existing SDK 4 certificate remain unaffected and still visible in the Apple Developer portal? Any considerations they should keep in mind? Thanks!

Understanding NEHotspotConfigurationErrorInternal
Error 8 in the NEHotspotConfigurationError domain is .internal, aka NEHotspotConfigurationErrorInternal. This error typically indicates that something went wrong in some sort of expected way, but we decided not to surface the exact cause [1]. This has come up a bunch of times before on the forums, and I have various titbits to share. To start, I want to address some specific cases: You’ll see this error if your app isn’t signed with the com.apple.developer.networking.HotspotConfiguration entitlement. To fix this, use Xcode’s Signing & Capabilities editor to add the Hotspot capability to your app. Historically developers reported a situation where once they encountered the error it would show up consistently, but then it would go away on restarting the device. If you see behaviour like that, that’s definitely a bug and I encourage you to file it as such. I have more about filing such bugs in Filing a Wi-Fi Bug Report. Of course, you have to wait to reproduce the error again before you’ll be able to file that bug, because the act of restarting cleared the issue. I’ve seen reports where such problems only occur on a specific type of device, for example, on iPhone 16 but not on earlier or later iPhones. That’s definitely something that Apple should investigate, and I recommend that you file a bug about it. If the problem is being reported by your users but you can’t reproduce it yourself, consider the various suggestions in Using a Sysdiagnose Log to Debug a Hard-to-Reproduce Problem. Assuming you’re still here (-: the next step is to determine whether the problem is specific to NEHotspotConfigurationManager or not. Try joining the accessory’s network from Settings > Wi-Fi. Does that also have problems? If so, that’s not something we can help you with here on the forums. The focus of the Apple Developer Forums is primarily to help developers with the APIs in Apple’s various platform SDKs [2]. We’re not set up to help accessory developers with Wi-Fi issues. However, there are still things you can do, as I explain in Filing a Wi-Fi Bug Report. At this point you have an error that: Persists across restarts Happens with all Apple devices You can reproduce Only affects NEHotspotConfigurationManager If that’s correct then there are a couple of things you might look at: Coerce the error to an NSError and print that. Does it reveal anything interesting? Also check the underlying error property (NSUnderlyingErrorKey) for hints. When reproducing the error, monitor the system log for log entries in the com.apple.networkextension subsystem. Do those offer any clues? Note For lots of hints and tips about the system log, see Your Friend the System Log. And finally, if you have questions about this case, feel free to start a thread here on the forums and we’ll try to help you out. Put it in the App & System Services > Networking subtopic and tag it with Network Extension. Share and Enjoy — Quinn “The Eskimo!” @ Developer Technical Support @ Apple let myEmail = "eskimo" + "1" + "@" + "apple.com" [1] There’s also the .unknown error. See this post for a brief summary of the difference. [2] And with Apple tools and some developer-oriented services. StoreKit / react-native-iap – Payment deducted but no transaction returned (India UPI users)
Hello, We are facing an issue with In-App Purchases (subscriptions) in two iOS apps built with React Native + react-native-iap. Issue Some users receive the error: E_CONNECTION_CLOSED during the purchase flow. However: The payment is successfully deducted via the App Store. The subscription appears in the user's Apple ID subscription list. But on our side: The app does not receive the StoreKit transaction callback No receipt or transaction ID is delivered Our backend cannot validate the purchase. Restore Purchases When affected users try Restore Purchases, StoreKit returns: No purchases found even though the subscription is visible in their Apple ID. Most affected users are from India, and many payments are made via UPI through App Store billing. Has anyone experienced a case where: *the user is charged *the subscription exists in Apple ID *but StoreKit never returns the transaction or receipt? Any suggestions on how to recover these transactions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Not Activated After Payment (15 March)
Hello, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and completed the $99 payment on 15 March. However, my developer account is still not activated. When I try to sign in to App Store Connect, it still shows that a Developer Account is required. I also contacted support through the developer contact page but have not received any response. The only email I received was the payment invoice. Has anyone experienced this before? How long does activation usually take, and is there anything else I need to do? Thank you.

team members
I currently have my own individual App Store Connect and Apple Developer distributor account registered with the email address m*******@*mail.com. For one of my clients, we also created a separate individual App Store Connect and Apple Developer account. I added my account as an Admin to the client’s account. On the App Store Connect side, I can perform all operations without any issues, such as managing the app, handling TestFlight, and submitting new versions. However, when I access the Apple Developer portal, I cannot see or manage the accounts I am responsible for. For example, I cannot view information such as the Team ID, certificates, provisioning profiles, or other developer settings. To work around this issue, I created a new Apple Developer membership using a different email address. However, when I logged in with that account, I was still unable to view the Team ID or other developer-related settings. My question is: Has the system always worked this way, where App Store Connect and Apple Developer access are managed separately? Or could this be an unnoticed authorization or configuration issue? I would appreciate your clarification on this matter.

Korean IME forces Smart Quotes, ignoring UITextInputTraits and OS Settings
There is a long-standing, structural issue with the iPadOS Korean IME when using a hardware keyboard. The IME forcibly intercepts the " (quote) keydown event and injects Unicode smart/curved quotes (“ or ”) directly into the text field. This hardcoded behavior ignores both: User Settings: The global "Smart Punctuation" toggle in [Settings > General > Keyboard] is completely ignored. Developer APIs: Setting UITextInputTraits.smartQuotesType = .no on a UITextView or UITextField has absolutely no effect when the Korean keyboard is active. Steps to Reproduce: Set smartQuotesType = .no on a standard UITextView. Connect a hardware keyboard. Switch input language to English -> Press the quote key. (Result: ASCII straight quote " - Correct behavior) Switch input language to Korean -> Press the quote key. (Result: Unicode curved quote “ - Incorrect behavior) Impact on Developers & Users: Because the OS IME forcefully injects the curved Unicode character before the app can process the raw key event, developers building code editors, markdown editors, or specific word processors (like Google Docs) cannot prevent this behavior. We cannot provide a standard text-editing experience for Korean users without forcing them to manually toggle their keyboard language to English just to type a straight quote. Expected Behavior: The Korean hardware keyboard IME must respect UITextInputTraits.smartQuotesType and the global OS toggle. Please provide a mechanism for developers and users to bypass this forced CJK typography rule.

Can video reflections in immersive space work with VideoMaterial, or is AVPlayerViewController with dockingRegion required?
Hi Apple Developer Forums, I'm developing a visionOS video streaming app that uses a custom immersive cinema experience with RealityKit. I have a question about enabling video reflections in an immersive environment. My Current Implementation I'm using VideoMaterial with AVPlayer to display video on a ModelEntity plane in an immersive space: // Create screen mesh let screenMesh = MeshResource.generatePlane( width: VideoTheater.screenWidth, height: VideoTheater.screenHeight, cornerRadius: 0.0 ) let screenEntity = ModelEntity(mesh: screenMesh) // Apply VideoMaterial with AVPlayer screenEntity.model?.materials = [VideoMaterial(avPlayer: player)] The video renders correctly in the immersive space, but I don't see any video reflections on surrounding surfaces. Apple's Documentation Approach According to the documentation at https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/visionos/enabling-vid eo-reflections-in-an-immersive-environment, the recommended approach uses: AVPlayerViewController for video playback dockingRegion modifier to specify where the video should appear The system automatically handles reflections My Question Is using AVPlayerViewController with dockingRegion the only way to get video reflections in an immersive environment? Or is it possible to enable reflections when using VideoMaterial directly with RealityKit's ModelEntity? My app requires a custom immersive cinema experience with: Custom screen positioning and scaling Danmaku (bullet comments) overlay Custom gesture controls HDR/Dolby Vision support Switching to AVPlayerViewController would require significant architectural changes, so I'd prefer to keep my current VideoMaterial approach if reflections can be enabled somehow. If VideoMaterial cannot produce reflections, are there any alternative approaches to achieve diffuse video reflections with a custom RealityKit setup? Environment visionOS 2.x RealityKit AVPlayer with custom resource loader (for DASH streams) Thank you for any guidance!

MTL4FXTemporalDenoisedScaler initialization
I’m trying to use MTL4FXTemporalDenoisedScaler, and I’m seeing a crash during initialization even with a very simple sample app. I created a minimal sample here: https://github.com/tatsuya-ogawa/MetalFXInitExample The exception is: NSException: "-[AGXG16XFamilyHeap baseObject]: unrecognized selector sent to instance ..." What I found is: • This works: descriptor.makeTemporalDenoisedScaler(device: device) • This crashes: descriptor.makeTemporalDenoisedScaler(device: device, compiler: metal4Compiler) So the issue seems to happen only with the Metal4FX version. For testing, I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro. According to the Metal Feature Set Tables, MetalFX denoised upscaling should be supported on Apple9 and later, so I believe the device itself should meet the requirements. Reference: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/metal/Metal-Feature-Set-Tables.pdf Has anyone seen this before, or knows what might be causing it? I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for several weeks — anyone seeing similar delays recently?
Hello everyone, I wanted to check whether other developers are currently experiencing unusually long “Waiting for Review” times. Our app Aslan Wealth (App ID: 6755077470) has been stuck in Waiting for Review for quite a while and has never entered the “In Review” stage. Timeline Feb 18, 2026 – Version submitted for review Feb 23 – Contacted Apple Developer Support regarding review status Feb 24 – Received reply that the case was escalated to the review team Mar 3 – Still in Waiting for Review (confirmed by support that the app is still in the queue) Mar 7–11 – Followed up with Developer Support again Mar 12 – Still Waiting for Review So the app has now been waiting for review for more than 3 weeks without ever entering active review. Additional information All agreements are active No messages in Resolution Center Build was not modified after submission App status remains Waiting for Review Questions Has anyone else recently experienced similar multi-week delays in the “Waiting for Review” stage? If so: Did your app eventually move to In Review without changes? Did Apple provide any explanation for the delay? Is there anything developers can do to help move the process forward? Any recent data points or experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
