ManipulationComponent Not Translating using indirect input
When using the new RealityKit Manipulation Component on Entities, indirect input will never translate the entity - no matter what settings are applied. Direct manipulation works as expected for both translation and rotation. Is this intended behaviour? This is different from how indirect manipulation works on Model3D. Digital Services Act: In Review for 14 days already.
Hi all, I was wondering if someone could provide more information about the Digital Services Act review process. I haven’t been able to find any details online, and I haven’t received a response to my support requests (it has been 9 days so far). I submitted the requested Digital Services Act information on February 27, but I haven’t received any update or automated confirmation email. The request is still visible under business agreements in my Apple Store Connect account. Does anyone know how long this review typically takes? Or whether I should contact support through a different channel? Thank you in advance!

macOS 26.4 Dev Beta 2 Install Fails
Hardware: • Mac Studio (M1 Ultra) • Apple Silicon • Sufficient free disk space (~35GB+ available) • SIP enabled • 4 local Time Machine snapshots present Current System: • Already running macOS Tahoe beta • Attempting upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta (Build 25E5207k) Primary Issue: Software Update downloads successfully, then moves to “Preparing…”. It stalls at “About 5 minutes remaining” for ~10–15 minutes and fails with: “Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again. An error occurred while downloading the selected updates.” The error appears network-related, but download always completes. Observed Behaviour: • “Checking for Updates” completes in <3 minutes. • softwareupdated and mobileassetd CPU usage <1%. • softwareupdate --history shows no record of the failed beta install. • No excessive system load or obvious disk pressure. Steps Already Attempted: 1. Standard Software Update retries • Multiple download/retry cycles from System Settings. • Same Preparing failure every time. 2. Permissions / Disk Access • Granted Terminal Full Disk Access. • SIP remains enabled. • Some system-protected locations still return “Operation not permitted”. 3. Cache / State Cleanup Attempts • Removed /Library/Updates/*. • Cleared temporary softwareupdate folders under /private/var/tmp. • Attempted MobileAsset cache cleanup where permitted. • Killed softwareupdated and mobileassetd processes (auto-restarted by launchd). 4. Beta Channel Reset • Turned Beta Updates OFF in System Settings. • Rebooted. • Re-enabled Beta Updates. • Forced catalog refresh via softwareupdate -l. 5. Snapshot Check • tmutil listlocalsnapshots / shows only 4 snapshots (normal range). 6. Question for Apple / other developers: Has anyone else seen Tahoe 26.4 beta fail specifically during the Preparing phase on Apple Silicon (especially Ultra-class chips)? Looking for confirmation whether this is a known MobileAsset or cryptex staging issue, or if logs indicate a deeper APFS / volume-owner authorization problem.

Combining NavigationSplitView and TabView in iOS 18
Hi folks, I've used a NavigationSplitView within one of the tabs of my app since iOS 16, but with the new styling in iOS 18 the toolbar region looks odd. In other tabs using e.g. simple stacks, the toolbar buttons are horizontally in line with the new tab picker, but with NavigationSplitView, the toolbar leaves a lot of empty space at the top (see below). Is there anything I can do to adjust this, or alternatively, continue to use the old style? Thanks!

The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
Hello guys, We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users. ✅ We have verified that: All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon. The app icon has been updated in Info.plist. The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store. ❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

‌Xcode26-built apps cannot run on iPhone 6 or earlier devices‌
‌Using Xcode 26, the built package encounters device compatibility issues — while it installs successfully on supported iPhone devices, but it crashes immediately upon launch and cannot run normally.‌‌In previous versions of Xcode, the same "minimum deployment" setting in the project did not cause such compatibility issues.‌ The app built with Xcode 26 shows the following behavior when installed and tested on various devices:‌ iPhone6p iOS12.5.8 fails to run 2.iPhone6 iOS11 fails to run 3.Iphone6 iOS12.5.7 fails to run 4.iPhone7 iOS12.1.3 ok 5.iPhoneX iOS 12.2 ok 6.iphone6s plus iOS10.3.1 ok 7.iphoneXS. iOS 12.1.4 ok 8.iPhone11 iOS 13.6.1 ok 9.iPhone7. iOS 13.7 ok We have tested and found that an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 10.3.1 can normally run the app. We would like to know whether apps built with Xcode 26 are inherently incompatible with iPhone 6 and older devices. Has Xcode 26’s underlying build environment removed full support for the A8 chip, resulting in binary files containing instructions or memory models that older devices cannot parse? ‌Looking forward to your reply‌.

Significantly Delayed App Review
Hi all, Like others my app submission has been stuck in “waiting for review” for weeks. I know initial app reviews take longer than updates, but this has been delayed far too long and makes me concerned about repeating the process in the future. I submitted this app for review back on Feb 10. It was initially rejected for a minor issue, which I resolved and resubmitted the same day. After that, the build remained in “Waiting for Review” for about two weeks with no further communication. At that point I canceled the submission and resubmitted the build, thinking it may have been stuck in the queue (I now know not to do this next time). Unfortunately the new submission has also been waiting for review for another 9 days now with no messages or updates. I’ve contacted app review support as well (case ID- 102826632729). I understand review times can vary, but delays like this make it difficult for developers to plan launches or push updates when the review process is the only path to distributing apps. As paying members of the Apple Developer Program, we rely heavily on this pipeline functioning reliably. Hoping this post will reach someone from Apple who can help move the process along. If any other devs have suggestions/tips that have worked for them, please share so others in this position can become unblocked. Thanks in advance.

App Review Inefficiency
I am seriously taken aback by the efficiency of the App Review team. Jul 8, 2022 at 2:46 PM - We submitted our app on this date. Jul 9, 2022 at 10.47 AM - Our app was rejected due to 5.1.1 Legal - Data Collection and Storage. Jul 9, 2022 at 1.02 PM - I provided detailed information in relation to our business being in a highly regulated industry. Jul 13, 2022 at 8.22 AM - App Review Team replied stating that additional time is required to review. App Review status was changed to App In Review. Jul 13, 2022 at 8.36 AM - I received the same message that the issue previously identified requires our attention. Jul 13, 2022 at 1.42 PM - I replied again that information has been provided and it was confusing to have received another same App Rejection message. I contacted the App Review Team for assistance and was assured that my app will be reviewed. Jul 14, 2022 at 9.57 AM - App Review team replied that the team will continue the review and will notify if there are any further issues. 27 Jul, 2022 at 3.10 AM - App Review team replied with the same rejection message again "The issues we previously identified still need your attention..." 27 Jul, 2022 at 4.05 AM - I replied explaining that this is the 3rd time App Review team provided the same, non-helpful message and I have provided the information right from the start. 28 Jul, 2022 at 10.27 AM - App Review team replied with the same message intent explaining the policy and requested for additional information AGAIN. 28 Jul, 2022 at 10.40 AM - I replied with FRUSTRATION, providing my detail explanation and information once again (which was already provided on the Jul 9, 2022, 1.02 PM). This app has been withheld since Jul 8. Another app of ours was approved merely after 2 days of submission with the similar additional information provided in the submission notes. The App Review team has been very UNHELPFUL by replying templated messages. I am not sure the team reads through the trail of communications. Many time and money has been wasted when we had to go back to our legal advisors. I need proper avenues to get this push through. Is this a common poor attitude and service of the App Review team? Can someone from the App Review team shed some light on this?

After updating to Xcode 16.3, getting the error - Symbol not found: ___cxa_current_primary_exception

iOS 26.3.0 TextToSpeech EXC_BAD_ACCESS
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm seeing a persistent crash in my iOS app reported via Firebase Crashlytics. The issue only started appearing on devices running iOS 26.3.0 and above (the crash does not occur on lower iOS versions, and it's unrelated to my app's version number). Key points: My app does NOT use any Text-to-Speech (TTS) features whatsoever. No AVSpeechSynthesizer, no Speech framework, no related APIs called from our code. My app is primarily written in Objective-C (with some Swift components possibly via dependencies). The crash stack is entirely within Apple's private TextToSpeech framework, specifically in ausdk::BufferAllocator::instance(). I suspect it might be indirectly triggered by a third-party ad SDK (e.g., Google Mobile Ads, AppLovin, etc.) that could be loading or interacting with accessibility features in the background — but this is just a hypothesis, as I have no direct evidence yet. Orphaned 9GB Simulator Runtime in /System/Library/AssetsV2 - Cannot Delete (SIP protected)
I have an orphaned asset folder taking up 9.13GB located at: /System/Library/AssetsV2/com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime/c0d3fd05106683ba0b3680d4d1afec65f098d700.asset It contains SimulatorRuntimeAsset version 18.5 (Build 22F77). Active Version: My current Xcode setup is using version 26.2 (Build 23C54). I checked the plist files in the directory and found what seems to be the cause of the issue: The "Never Collected" Flag: The Info.plist inside the orphaned asset folder explicitly sets the garbage collection behavior to "NeverCollected": <key>__AssetDefaultGarbageCollectionBehavior</key> <string>NeverCollected</string> The Catalog Mismatch: The master catalog file (com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime.xml) in the parent directory only lists the new version (26.2). Because the old version (18.5) is missing from this XML, Xcode and mobileassetd seem to have lost track of it entirely. What I Have Tried (All Failed) Xcode Components: The version 18.5 does not appear in Settings -> Components, so I cannot delete it via the GUI. Simctl: xcrun simctl list runtimes does not list this version. Running xcrun simctl runtime delete 22F77 fails with: "No runtime disk images or bundles found matching '22F77'." Manual Deletion: sudo rm -rf [path] fails with "Operation not permitted", presumably because /System/Library/AssetsV2 is SIP-protected. Third-party Tools: Apps like DevCleaner do not detect this runtime (likely because they only scan ~/Library or /Library, not /System/Library). Has anyone found a way to force the system (perhaps via mobileassetd or a specific xcrun flag) to re-evaluate this folder and respect a deletion request? I am trying to avoid booting into Recovery Mode just to delete a cache file. Any insights on how AssetsV2 handles these "orphaned" files would be appreciated.

Apple Support are you even here?
I’m creating a new post because the situation has gone far beyond reasonable. My Apple Developer Program enrollment has been stuck in “Pending” status for almost a month. During this time, I have sent around 10 emails to Apple Developer Program Support. Result: ZERO REPLISES. NO EXPLANATIONS NO UPDATES. NO HELP. If you are experiencing the same issue — or have faced it before — please leave a comment or upvote this thread so it gets visibility. At this point, this seems to be the only way to get Apple’s attention. Apple, this situation needs to be addressed.

Xcode Source Control pull/push hangs indefinitely, terminal Git works normally After Tahoe 26.3 (25D125) Update
Device Details: MBP M2 Pro AND MBP M3 Pro macOS 26.3 (25D125) Xcode Version 26.3, 26.2, 26.1 (I reinstalled all 3 of these after the macOS update) BUG: Xcode hangs indefinitely when performing Source Control operations (Pull or Push) on a Git repository that uses SSH authentication. The same repository works correctly when performing the equivalent Git operations from the Terminal using the Git CLI. The issue appears to be specific to Xcode’s internal Source Control integration. When the operation is triggered from Xcode, the UI shows a spinning progress indicator and never completes. Terminal Git commands (git fetch, git pull, git push) complete normally using the same SSH key and repository. A hang sample taken during the issue shows the Xcode main thread blocked in Source Control authentication and fingerprint handling code paths, including: IDESourceControlUIHandler IDESourceControlFingerprintManager handleAuthenticationFailure showFingerprintAlertOnWindow This suggests Xcode may be waiting on a Source Control authentication or host fingerprint UI flow that never resolves. SSH connectivity itself is functioning correctly: ssh -T git@bitbucket.org and ssh -T git@github.com both authenticate successfully. git ls-remote, git fetch, git pull, and git push all work correctly from Terminal. No Source Control accounts are configured in Xcode Preferences. Authentication relies entirely on SSH keys. Steps to Reproduce Configure an SSH key for Git access (e.g., Bitbucket or GitHub) and confirm it works via Terminal. Clone or open an existing Git repository that uses SSH (git@host:repo.git). Open the project/workspace in Xcode. In Xcode, attempt a Source Control operation such as: Source Control → Pull Source Control → Push Observe that Xcode displays a spinning progress indicator and does not complete the operation. Unable to download iOS simulator runtime 26.x on Xcode
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a persistent issue for months now where I'm unable to download the iOS 26 simulator Runtime. I've tried reinstalling Xcode and also Xcode Beta but same issue. iOS 26 Simulator is also not on developers download page, so manual installation is impossible. And sadly I can't compile any code without having iOS 26 simulator installed. Anyone able to get passed this? Hardware: M1 Pro OS: Tahoe 26.1 Heres the error Download failed. UITabBarController crashes when editing the items
I'm using one UITabBarController which leads to 6 NavigationController. Therefore the user will get 4 icons displayed and one icon with three points to see the rest of the Navigation Controller. If the user now tries to edit the list and moves one item from the hidden area towards the TabBar at the bottom, the App crashes with the error: Exception NSException * "Can't add self as subview" 0x0000600000d16040 I can see this effect at least on both my apps. If the same compilation is run on a older iOS version, there is no crash. Is there anything I have to take care of the configuration of the TabBar, when it comes to iOS26?

iOS 26.2 Simulator is not available for download
I'm trying to download the iOS 26.2 simulator, but it fails both in Xcode and via the command line. When I run: xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -buildVersion 26.2 -exportPath ~/Downloads It returns: iOS 26.2 is not available for download. I would like to know: Why iOS 26.2 simulator cannot be downloaded at the moment. Whether iOS 26.2 simulator is still available, or if it has been removed or replaced. How to properly get and install the iOS 26.2 simulator. Any official explanation or solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Xcode 26.4: IBOutlets/IBActions gutter circles missing — cannot connect storyboard to code (works in 26.3)
I’m seeing a regression in Xcode 26.4 where Interface Builder will not allow connecting IBOutlets or IBActions. Symptoms: The usual gutter circle/dot does not appear next to IBOutlet / IBAction in the code editor Because of this, I cannot: drag from storyboard → code drag from code → storyboard The class is valid and already connected to the storyboard (existing outlets work) Assistant Editor opens the correct view controller file Important: The exact same project, unchanged, works perfectly in Xcode 26.3. I can create and connect outlets/actions normally there. ⸻ Environment Xcode: 26.4 macOS: 26.4 Mac Mini M4 Pro 64G Ram Project: Objective-C UIKit app using Storyboards This is a long-running, ObjC, project (not newly created) ⸻ What I’ve already tried To rule out the usual suspects: Verified View Controller Custom Class is correctly set in Identity Inspector Verified files are in the correct Target Membership Verified outlets are declared correctly in the .h file: @property (weak, nonatomic) IBOutlet UILabel *exampleLabel; Opened correct file manually (not relying on Automatic Assistant) Tried both: storyboard → code drag code → storyboard drag Tried using Connections Inspector Clean Build Folder Deleted entire DerivedData Restarted Xcode Updated macOS to 26.4 Ran: sudo xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch Confirmed required platform components installed Reopened project fresh ⸻ Observations In Xcode 26.4 the outlet “connection circles” are completely missing In Xcode 26.3 they appear immediately for the same code Existing connections still function at runtime — this is purely an Interface Builder issue ⸻ Question The gutter circles appearance has always been flaky in Xcode over the 13+ years I've been using it but now with 26.4 they have completely disappeared. Has anyone else seen this in Xcode 26.4, or found a workaround? At this point it looks like a regression in Interface Builder, but I haven’t found any mention of it yet.

Xcode Devices "Download Container" no longer works on latest Xcode 26.0 (24228) (Build 17A324)
After updating my Xcode to the latest, I am unable to download an installed app container from the Xcode Devices screen. This currently works with older versions of Xcode with the same app on the same iPad. This worked with older versions of Xcode on the same MacBook as well (including the Xcode 26 beta before updating to the official release yesterday) The specified file could not be transferred. Digital Services Act: In Review for 14 days already.
Hi all, I was wondering if someone could provide more information about the Digital Services Act review process. I haven’t been able to find any details online, and I haven’t received a response to my support requests (it has been 9 days so far). I submitted the requested Digital Services Act information on February 27, but I haven’t received any update or automated confirmation email. The request is still visible under business agreements in my Apple Store Connect account. Does anyone know how long this review typically takes? Hardware: • Mac Studio (M1 Ultra) • Apple Silicon • Sufficient free disk space (~35GB+ available) • SIP enabled • 4 local Time Machine snapshots present Current System: • Already running macOS Tahoe beta • Attempting upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta (Build 25E5207k) Primary Issue: Software Update downloads successfully, then moves to “Preparing…”. It stalls at “About 5 minutes remaining” for ~10–15 minutes and fails with: “Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again. An error occurred while downloading the selected updates.” The error appears network-related, but download always completes. Observed Behaviour: • “Checking for Updates” completes in <3 minutes. • softwareupdated and mobileassetd CPU usage <1%. • softwareupdate --history shows no record of the failed beta install. • No excessive system load or obvious disk pressure. Steps Already Attempted: 1. Standard Software Update retries • Multiple download/retry cycles from System Settings. • Same Preparing failure every time. 2. Permissions / Disk Access • Granted Terminal Full Disk Access. • SIP remains enabled. • Some system-protected locations still return “Operation not permitted”. 3. Combining NavigationSplitView and TabView in iOS 18
Hi folks, I've used a NavigationSplitView within one of the tabs of my app since iOS 16, but with the new styling in iOS 18 the toolbar region looks odd. In other tabs using e.g. simple stacks, the toolbar buttons are horizontally in line with the new tab picker, but with NavigationSplitView, the toolbar leaves a lot of empty space at the top (see below). Is there anything I can do to adjust this, or alternatively, continue to use the old style? Thanks!

The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
Hello guys, We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users. ✅ We have verified that: All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon. The app icon has been updated in Info.plist. The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store. ❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

Significantly Delayed App Review
Hi all, Like others my app submission has been stuck in “waiting for review” for weeks. I know initial app reviews take longer than updates, but this has been delayed far too long and makes me concerned about repeating the process in the future. I submitted this app for review back on Feb 10. It was initially rejected for a minor issue, which I resolved and resubmitted the same day. After that, the build remained in “Waiting for Review” for about two weeks with no further communication. At that point I canceled the submission and resubmitted the build, thinking it may have been stuck in the queue (I now know not to do this next time). Unfortunately the new submission has also been waiting for review for another 9 days now with no messages or updates. I’ve contacted app review support as well (case ID- 102826632729). I understand review times can vary, but delays like this make it difficult for developers to plan launches or push updates when the review process is the only path to distributing apps. As paying members of the Apple Developer Program, we rely heavily on this pipeline functioning reliably. Hoping this post will reach someone from Apple who can help move the process along. If any other devs have suggestions/tips that have worked for them, please share so others in this position can become unblocked. Thanks in advance.

App Review Inefficiency
I am seriously taken aback by the efficiency of the App Review team. Jul 8, 2022 at 2:46 PM - We submitted our app on this date. Jul 9, 2022 at 10.47 AM - Our app was rejected due to 5.1.1 Legal - Data Collection and Storage. Jul 9, 2022 at 1.02 PM - I provided detailed information in relation to our business being in a highly regulated industry. Jul 13, 2022 at 8.22 AM - App Review Team replied stating that additional time is required to review. App Review status was changed to App In Review. Jul 13, 2022 at 8.36 AM - I received the same message that the issue previously identified requires our attention. Jul 13, 2022 at 1.42 PM - I replied again that information has been provided and it was confusing to have received another same App Rejection message. I contacted the App Review Team for assistance and was assured that my app will be reviewed. Jul 14, 2022 at 9.57 AM - App Review team replied that the team will continue the review and will notify if there are any further issues. 27 Jul, 2022 at 3.10 AM - App Review team replied with the same rejection message again "The issues we previously identified still need your attention..." 27 Jul, 2022 at 4.05 AM - I replied explaining that this is the 3rd time App Review team provided the same, non-helpful message and I have provided the information right from the start. 28 Jul, 2022 at 10.27 AM - App Review team replied with the same message intent explaining the policy and requested for additional information AGAIN. 28 Jul, 2022 at 10.40 AM - I replied with FRUSTRATION, providing my detail explanation and information once again (which was already provided on the Jul 9, 2022, 1.02 PM). This app has been withheld since Jul 8. Another app of ours was approved merely after 2 days of submission with the similar additional information provided in the submission notes. The App Review team has been very UNHELPFUL by replying templated messages. I am not sure the team reads through the trail of communications. Many time and money has been wasted when we had to go back to our legal advisors. I need proper avenues to get this push through. Is this a common poor attitude and service of the App Review team? Can someone from the App Review team shed some light on this?

After updating to Xcode 16.3, getting the error - Symbol not found: ___cxa_current_primary_exception

iOS 26.3.0 TextToSpeech EXC_BAD_ACCESS
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm seeing a persistent crash in my iOS app reported via Firebase Crashlytics. The issue only started appearing on devices running iOS 26.3.0 and above (the crash does not occur on lower iOS versions, and it's unrelated to my app's version number). Key points: My app does NOT use any Text-to-Speech (TTS) features whatsoever. No AVSpeechSynthesizer, no Speech framework, no related APIs called from our code. My app is primarily written in Objective-C (with some Swift components possibly via dependencies). The crash stack is entirely within Apple's private TextToSpeech framework, specifically in ausdk::BufferAllocator::instance(). I suspect it might be indirectly triggered by a third-party ad SDK (e.g., Google Mobile Ads, AppLovin, etc.) that could be loading or interacting with accessibility features in the background — but this is just a hypothesis, as I have no direct evidence yet. Orphaned 9GB Simulator Runtime in /System/Library/AssetsV2 - Cannot Delete (SIP protected)
I have an orphaned asset folder taking up 9.13GB located at: /System/Library/AssetsV2/com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime/c0d3fd05106683ba0b3680d4d1afec65f098d700.asset It contains SimulatorRuntimeAsset version 18.5 (Build 22F77). Active Version: My current Xcode setup is using version 26.2 (Build 23C54). I checked the plist files in the directory and found what seems to be the cause of the issue: The "Never Collected" Flag: The Info.plist inside the orphaned asset folder explicitly sets the garbage collection behavior to "NeverCollected": <key>__AssetDefaultGarbageCollectionBehavior</key> <string>NeverCollected</string> The Catalog Mismatch: The master catalog file (com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime.xml) in the parent directory only lists the new version (26.2). Because the old version (18.5) is missing from this XML, Xcode and mobileassetd seem to have lost track of it entirely. What I Have Tried (All Failed) Xcode Components: The version 18.5 does not appear in Settings -> Components, so I cannot delete it via the GUI. Simctl: xcrun simctl list runtimes does not list this version. Running xcrun simctl runtime delete 22F77 fails with: "No runtime disk images or bundles found matching '22F77'." Manual Deletion: sudo rm -rf [path] fails with "Operation not permitted", presumably because /System/Library/AssetsV2 is SIP-protected. Third-party Tools: Apps like DevCleaner do not detect this runtime (likely because they only scan ~/Library or /Library, not /System/Library). Has anyone found a way to force the system (perhaps via mobileassetd or a specific xcrun flag) to re-evaluate this folder and respect a deletion request? I am trying to avoid booting into Recovery Mode just to delete a cache file. Any insights on how AssetsV2 handles these "orphaned" files would be appreciated.

I’m creating a new post because the situation has gone far beyond reasonable. My Apple Developer Program enrollment has been stuck in “Pending” status for almost a month. During this time, I have sent around 10 emails to Apple Developer Program Support. Result: ZERO REPLISES. NO EXPLANATIONS NO UPDATES. NO HELP. If you are experiencing the same issue — or have faced it before — please leave a comment or upvote this thread so it gets visibility. At this point, this seems to be the only way to get Apple’s attention. Apple, this situation needs to be addressed.

Xcode Source Control pull/push hangs indefinitely, terminal Git works normally After Tahoe 26.3 (25D125) Update
Device Details: MBP M2 Pro AND MBP M3 Pro macOS 26.3 (25D125) Xcode Version 26.3, 26.2, 26.1 (I reinstalled all 3 of these after the macOS update) BUG: Xcode hangs indefinitely when performing Source Control operations (Pull or Push) on a Git repository that uses SSH authentication. The same repository works correctly when performing the equivalent Git operations from the Terminal using the Git CLI. The issue appears to be specific to Xcode’s internal Source Control integration. When the operation is triggered from Xcode, the UI shows a spinning progress indicator and never completes. Terminal Git commands (git fetch, git pull, git push) complete normally using the same SSH key and repository. A hang sample taken during the issue shows the Xcode main thread blocked in Source Control authentication and fingerprint handling code paths, including: IDESourceControlUIHandler IDESourceControlFingerprintManager handleAuthenticationFailure showFingerprintAlertOnWindow This suggests Xcode may be waiting on a Source Control authentication or host fingerprint UI flow that never resolves. SSH connectivity itself is functioning correctly: ssh -T git@bitbucket.org and ssh -T git@github.com both authenticate successfully. git ls-remote, git fetch, git pull, and git push all work correctly from Terminal. No Source Control accounts are configured in Xcode Preferences. Authentication relies entirely on SSH keys. Steps to Reproduce Configure an SSH key for Git access (e.g., Bitbucket or GitHub) and confirm it works via Terminal. Clone or open an existing Git repository that uses SSH (git@host:repo.git). Open the project/workspace in Xcode. In Xcode, attempt a Source Control operation such as: Source Control → Pull Source Control → Push Observe that Xcode displays a spinning progress indicator and does not complete the operation. Unable to download iOS simulator runtime 26.x on Xcode
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a persistent issue for months now where I'm unable to download the iOS 26 simulator Runtime. I've tried reinstalling Xcode and also Xcode Beta but same issue. iOS 26 Simulator is also not on developers download page, so manual installation is impossible. UITabBarController crashes when editing the items
I'm using one UITabBarController which leads to 6 NavigationController. Therefore the user will get 4 icons displayed and one icon with three points to see the rest of the Navigation Controller. If the user now tries to edit the list and moves one item from the hidden area towards the TabBar at the bottom, the App crashes with the error: Exception NSException * "Can't add self as subview" 0x0000600000d16040 I can see this effect at least on both my apps. If the same compilation is run on a older iOS version, there is no crash. Is there anything I have to take care of the configuration of the TabBar, when it comes to iOS26?

iOS 26.2 Simulator is not available for download
I'm trying to download the iOS 26.2 simulator, but it fails both in Xcode and via the command line. When I run: xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -buildVersion 26.2 -exportPath ~/Downloads It returns: iOS 26.2 is not available for download. I would like to know: Why iOS 26.2 simulator cannot be downloaded at the moment. Whether iOS 26.2 simulator is still available, or if it has been removed or replaced. Xcode 26.4: IBOutlets/IBActions gutter circles missing — cannot connect storyboard to code (works in 26.3)
I’m seeing a regression in Xcode 26.4 where Interface Builder will not allow connecting IBOutlets or IBActions. Symptoms: The usual gutter circle/dot does not appear next to IBOutlet / IBAction in the code editor Because of this, I cannot: drag from storyboard → code drag from code → storyboard The class is valid and already connected to the storyboard (existing outlets work) Assistant Editor opens the correct view controller file Important: The exact same project, unchanged, works perfectly in Xcode 26.3. Has anyone else seen this in Xcode 26.4, or found a workaround? At this point it looks like a regression in Interface Builder, but I haven’t found any mention of it yet.

Xcode Devices "Download Container" no longer works on latest Xcode 26.0 (24228) (Build 17A324)
After updating my Xcode to the latest, I am unable to download an installed app container from the Xcode Devices screen. This currently works with older versions of Xcode with the same app on the same iPad. This worked with older versions of Xcode on the same MacBook as well (including the Xcode 26 beta before updating to the official release yesterday) The specified file could not be transferred.
