Testing IAP in sandbox (sandbox - testflight)
Hi all ! I'm a new developer on iOs and I' struggling to get my IAP subscription working in sandbox. I've got it working in debug mode on my test env, where I purposely activate the subscription when in my test backend. So that part works. But now, I want to test in testflight with sandbox user credentials. And I see conflicting instructions. My developer account has accepted the Paid Apps Agreement. I've created a subscription group with localized description in both language my app supports. In that group, I've created 2 products with description, duration, pricing, localized name and description and a review screenshot. At that stage, the subscription is at the state "ready to submit". From what I read, I then need to submit them as part of a version submission to activate the IAP. So I did. But then the app was rejected because IAP don't work. I later found out that I need to attach the IAP to the submission, but I couldn't do it, because the IAP where now in "developer action needed". And even after modifying them to reset the state of the localization, the locale are pending submit, but the subscription is still in developer action needed. So in the end, I re-created 2 new subscriptions (with 2 new product ids). At this point, I see posts and replies in reddit and other places that specifically says that the IAP need to be reviewed and approved by apple to be usable in sandbox. But I also see others that specifically says the opposite, that the IAP only need to be in ready to submit. So which is it ? If I submit again the app, I'll end up with subscriptions that are unusable that I can't get back to ready to submit without sending them for review. Thanks for any hints !

AlarmKit alerting-phase playback is significantly quieter than equivalent in-app playback using AVAudioSession(.playback)
Hi all, I’m trying to determine whether the loudness gap I’m seeing between AlarmKit alert playback and normal app-managed playback is expected behavior, a sound-asset issue, or something that should be reported as a bug. Observed behavior When an alarm fires through AlarmKit while the device is locked, the alarm sound is significantly quieter than playback of the same or very similar audio once the app is active and using its own audio session. The difference is large enough that it does not feel like a small mastering difference. It feels like the AlarmKit / system alerting path is using a meaningfully lower effective output level than normal app playback. Test scenario My repro is roughly: Schedule an alarm with AlarmKit. Lock the device. Let the alarm fire and listen during the system alerting phase. Enter the app / continue into the app-driven alarm experience. Play the same or equivalent alarm asset via app-managed playback. Result: AlarmKit / lock-screen alerting phase sounds much quieter. In-app playback sounds noticeably louder and fuller on the same device. Current implementation Alarm flow is currently split into two paths: 1) System alarm path Alarm scheduling and alert surfacing via AlarmKit Device may be locked No attempt to manipulate system volume No private APIs 2) In-app playback path After app activation, playback uses: AVAudioSession category .playback AVAudioPlayer Audio is routed as normal app playback This path sounds substantially louder than the AlarmKit path Important detail I am not asking how to override system volume. I understand that AlarmKit appears to follow the system ringer / alert volume model and does not expose a public API for custom alarm loudness. My question is narrower: Is it expected that the same asset or an equivalent asset will sound materially quieter during the AlarmKit alerting phase than during ordinary app playback with AVAudioSession(category: .playback)? Questions Is the lower perceived loudness during AlarmKit alerting an expected property of the framework / system alarm path? Does AlarmKit playback use a different output path, gain policy, processing chain, or speaker treatment than normal app playback with .playback? Are there recommended authoring constraints for AlarmKit alarm sounds to maximize perceived loudness on iPhone speakers? transient-heavy mix stronger mids reduced low-end different LUFS / peak strategy shorter attack, etc. Has anyone measured this directly with: the same WAV / CAF file same device same system volume locked AlarmKit playback vs unlocked in-app playback If this is not expected, would Apple want this reported as a bug with: sample project exact iOS version device model screen recording / audio recording What I’m trying to figure out For alarm-app UX, this matters a lot because: AlarmKit is the most reliable lock-screen/system path. But if AlarmKit playback is substantially quieter than normal app playback, the alarm experience is inconsistent depending on device/app state. That makes it hard to know whether to treat this as: expected system behavior, a framework limitation, an asset/mastering problem, or a bug. If anyone has tested this in a controlled way or received guidance from Apple/DTS, I’d appreciate any technical detail. Thanks.

Stuck submitting subscription for review
We are stuck in AppStoreConnect limbo. We have a new subscription group + two Subscriptions in Ready To Review state in appstoreconnect, but Apple Review rejected our latest app version because they weren't included with the version. Our app version has been rejected for a few issues before this which maybe broke something. When I go to edit the version, there is no Subscriptions & Purchases section to add them for review. I tried editing the subscriptions and subscription group localization to see if that got it out of Waiting For Review state or showed the version section but no luck. So we can't add the Subscriptions for review and we are rejected from App Review if we don't. I submitted an Apple support email 8 days ago and haven't received any response. Does anyone know of a way to get this unblocked?

In-App Purchases “Waiting for Review” but not available during App Review (subscriptions unavailable)
Hi everyone, I’m stuck in the App Review process with In-App Purchases (subscriptions) and would really appreciate some guidance. Situation: I have an app with subscriptions (Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly) Both subscriptions are in “Waiting for Review” status I submitted a new app version for review Issue: The app was rejected with: “subscriptions were unavailable at time of review” Before that, I also received a rejection saying the reviewer could not locate the In-App Purchases. What’s confusing: Subscriptions are not yet approved (still “Waiting for Review”) In the current app version page, I do not see the “In-App Purchases” section at all, so I cannot confirm whether they are attached to this build The app correctly loads products via StoreKit, but returns empty when products are not available Questions: Do subscriptions need to be approved before they can be used during app review? Should I reject the current version and resubmit while manually attaching the subscriptions? Is it expected that the “In-App Purchases” section is missing from the version page in this case? Has anyone experienced this “subscriptions unavailable” issue while IAPs are still “Waiting for Review”? I feel like I’m stuck in a loop where: The app needs IAP to pass review But IAP are not available yet during review Any advice on the correct process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The Apple developer registration process is taking too long.
Hello everyone, I paid for an Apple Developer subscription, but after a week, about 7-8 days, I still don't have access to my developer funds. The subscription is active, but the money is debited. Please help me access and activate my developer account. I haven't received a response for several days, and I'm very upset. I just don't know what to do. They aren't responding to my requests, and the phone number isn't listed anywhere, so I can't call. The Apple Developer subscription is showing in the App Store subscriptions, the money is debited, the account is inactive, and my Apple Developer account is empty. This is my first and very frustrating experience. Order code: D009562242

CKQuerySubscription on public database never triggers APNS push in Production environment
Hi everyone, I have a SwiftUI app using CKQuerySubscription on the public database for social notifications (friend requests, recommendations, etc.). Push notifications work perfectly in the Development environment but never fire in Production (TestFlight). Setup: iOS 26.4, Xcode 26, Swift 6 Container: public database, CKQuerySubscription with .firesOnRecordCreation 5 subscriptions verified via CKDatabase.allSubscriptions() registerForRemoteNotifications() called unconditionally on every launch Valid APNS device token received in didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken Push Notifications + Background Modes (Remote notifications) capabilities enabled What works: All 5 subscriptions create successfully in Production Records are saved and queryable (in-app CloudKit fetches return them immediately) APNS production push works — tested via Xcode Push Notifications Console with the same device token, notification appeared instantly Everything works perfectly in the Development environment (subscriptions fire, push arrives) What doesn't work: When a record is created that matches a subscription predicate, no APNS push is ever delivered in Production Tested with records created from the app (device to device) and from CloudKit Dashboard — neither triggers push Tried: fresh subscription IDs, minimal NotificationInfo (just alertBody), stripped shouldSendContentAvailable, created an APNs key, toggled Push capability in Xcode, re-deployed schema from dev to prod Additional finding: One of my record types (CompletionNotification) was returning BAD_REQUEST when creating a subscription in Production, despite working in Development. Re-deploying the development schema to production (which reported "no changes") fixed the subscription creation. This suggests the production environment had inconsistent subscription state for that record type, possibly from the type being auto-created by a record save before formal schema deployment. I suspect a similar issue may be affecting the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for all my record types — the subscriptions exist and predicates match, but the production environment isn't wiring them to APNS delivery. Subscription creation code (simplified): let subscription = CKQuerySubscription( recordType: "FriendRequest", predicate: NSPredicate(format: "receiverID == %@ AND status == %@", userID, "pending"), subscriptionID: "fr-sub-v3", options: [.firesOnRecordCreation] ) let info = CKSubscription.NotificationInfo() info.titleLocalizationKey = "Friend Request" info.alertLocalizationKey = "FRIEND_REQUEST_BODY" info.alertLocalizationArgs = ["senderUsername"] info.soundName = "default" info.shouldBadge = true info.desiredKeys = ["senderUsername", "senderID"] info.category = "FRIEND_REQUEST" subscription.notificationInfo = info try await database.save(subscription) Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way to "reset" the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for a production container? I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to resolve and get my push notifications back to normal. Many thanks, Dimitar - LaterRex

Kernel panics on M5 devices with network extension
Hello, We have a security solution which intercepts network traffic for inspection using a combination of Transparent Proxy Provider and Content filter. Lately we are seeing reports from the market that on M5 Macbooks and A18 Neos the system will kernel panic using our solution, even though it never happens on M1-M4 and no significant code changes were made in the mean time. Can you tell us please if this is a known problem and if there's a workaround or what can we do to narrow it down? Thanks.

Apple Developer Program Enrollment PROBLEM
Hello, I'm having a serious problem registering for the Apple Developer Program, and I can't resolve it. I applied over two weeks ago, but I still haven't received an activation email. I've also tried using different credit cards, suspecting there might be a problem with my payment method. The main issues are as follows: My order/registration remains in the "processing" status, I haven't received an activation email, Apple Developer Program support isn't responding. I've already sent over seven emails to support, but haven't received any response or updates. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?

App Store Connect Business page silently fails on submit + stuck on loading screen
I've been experiencing two critical issues with App Store Connect for several weeks and have contacted Developer Support multiple times by email with no response. Environment: macOS (Sequoia), tested on Chrome and Safari, multiple devices and networks. US-based organization account. ISSUE 1 — BUSINESS PAGE NOT FUNCTIONING (ongoing for weeks) The Business > Agreements/Tax/Banking page does not work correctly. After filling in all required information and clicking Submit, the page silently refreshes back to the unfilled state. No success message, no error message. This happens consistently across all browsers and devices. The browser console shows the following error on page load: [maison] No route found https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/business/atb/[entity-id] This suggests the SPA router fails to initialize the page, which would explain why submit has no effect. Both my Free App and Paid App agreements are stuck in pending status ("Waiting for Tax/Bank Info"), and I cannot complete the required identity verification through the UI. WHAT I'VE TRIED Multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari) Multiple devices and networks Cleared all cookies and cache Disabled all browser extensions Contacted Developer Support by email — no response after 7+ days IMPACT I cannot launch my paid app because the Paid App Agreement cannot be completed. Has anyone encountered the [maison] routing error on the Business page? Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

App windows keep switching screens on MacBook Air M2 connected to an external monitor when the screen is turned on and off
My MacBook Air M2 is connected to an external monitor. App windows keep switching screens every time I turn the screen off and then on again, which started happening after the new developer beta update. How can I fix this? Or is this a big I have to wait for to be fixed until the next update?

Is inode invalidation currently supported?
I cannot find anywhere in the documentation how to invalidate an FSItem. It seems to be cached indefinitely or am I missing something?

Kernel panics on M5 devices with network extension
Hello, We have a security solution which intercepts network traffic for inspection using a combination of Transparent Proxy Provider and Content filter. Lately we are seeing reports from the market that on M5 Macbooks and A18 Neos the system will kernel panic using our solution, even though it never happens on M1-M4 and no significant code changes were made in the mean time. All crashes seem to be related to an internal double free in the kernel: panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe003bb68224): skmem_slab_free_locked: attempt to free invalid or already-freed obj 0xf2fffe29e15f2400 on skm 0xf6fffe2518aaa200 @skmem_slab.c:646 Debugger message: panic Memory ID: 0xff OS release type: User OS version: 25D2128 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 25.3.0: Wed Jan 28 20:54:38 PST 2026; root:xnu-12377.91.3~2/RELEASE_ARM64_T6050 Additionally, from further log inspection, before panics we find some weird kernel messages which seem to be related to some DMA operations gone wrong in the network driver on some machines: 2026-03-30 14:11:21.779124+0300 0x30f2 Default 0x0 873 0 Arc: (Network) [com.apple.network:connection] [C9.1.1.1 IPv4#e5b4bb04:443 in_progress socket-flow (satisfied (Path is satisfied), interface: en0[802.11], ipv4, ipv6, dns, uses wifi, flow divert agg: 1, LQM: good)] event: flow:start_connect @0.075s 2026-03-30 14:11:21.780015+0300 0x1894 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (402262746): No more valid control units, disabling flow divert 2026-03-30 14:11:21.780017+0300 0x1894 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (402262746): Skipped all flow divert services, disabling flow divert 2026-03-30 14:11:21.780102+0300 0x1894 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: SK[2]: flow_entry_alloc fe "0 proc kernel_task(0)Arc nx_port 1 flow_uuid D46E230E-B826-4E0A-8C59-4C4C8BF6AA60 flags 0x14120<CONNECTED,QOS_MARKING,EXT_PORT,EXT_FLOWID> ipver=4,src=<IPv4-redacted>.49703,dst=<IPv4-redacted>.443,proto=0x06 mask=0x0000003f,hash=0x04e0a750 tp_proto=0x06" 2026-03-30 14:11:21.780194+0300 0x1894 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: tcp connect outgoing: [<IPv4-redacted>:49703<-><IPv4-redacted>:443] interface: en0 (skipped: 0) so_gencnt: 14634 t_state: SYN_SENT process: Arc:873 SYN in/out: 0/1 bytes in/out: 0/0 pkts in/out: 0/0 rtt: 0.0 ms rttvar: 250.0 ms base_rtt: 0 ms error: 0 so_error: 0 svc/tc: 0 flow: 0x9878386f 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934431+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: Hit error condition (not panicking as we're in error handler): t8110dart <private> (dart-apcie0): invalid SID 2 TTBR access: level 1 table_index 0 page_offset 0x2 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934432+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.511690]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 6 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934441+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.511696]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 9 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934441+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.569033]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 6 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934441+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.569038]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 9 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934442+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.577453]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 7 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934442+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.586328]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 5 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934442+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.586332]: arm_cpu_init(): cpu 8 online 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934442+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.621392]: (dart-apcie0) AppleT8110DART::_fatalException: dart-apcie0 (<ptr>): DART DART SID exception ERROR_SID_SUMMARY 0x00003000 ERROR_ADDRESS 0x0000000000009800 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934443+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: [ 73.621397]: Hit error condition (not panicking as we're in error handler): 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934443+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: t8110dart <ptr> (dart-apcie0): invalid SID 2 TTBR access: level 1 table_index 0 page_offset 0x2Expect a `deadbeef` in the error messages below 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934452+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: Expect a `deadbeef` in the error messages below 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934456+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleEmbeddedPCIE) apcie[0:centauri-control]::_dartErrorHandler() InvalidPTE caused by read from address 0x9800 by SID 2 (RID 2:0:1/useCount 1/device <private>) 2026-03-30 14:11:21.934469+0300 0xed Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleT8110DART) Ignored dart-apcie0 (0xfbfffe18820b0000): DART(DART) error: SID 2 PTE invalid exception on read of DVA 0x9800 (SEG 0 PTE 0x2) ERROR_SID_SUMMARY 0x00003000 TIME 0x11242d43fd TTE 0xffffffffffffffff AXI_ID 0 We do not have any correlation between machines, usage pattern or installed applications. Uninstalling the network protection features seem to largely fix the issues, even though we have heard of crashes happening even in safe mode or with our network extension disabled from system settings. We weren't able to reproduce internally and it seems to happen completely random on client machines, but often enough to be disrupting. Can you tell us please if this is a known problem and if there's a workaround or what can we do to narrow it down? Thanks.
