FB22543589 - Case ID: 102872835864 - TESTFLIGHT: The requested app is not available or does not exist
I'm experiencing a persistent issue where my app uploads successfully to TestFlight and appears in App Store Connect, but internal testers (including myself) receive the following error when attempting to install: "Could not install xxxxxxxxx. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist." What works: The build archives and exports successfully via Xcode (local build, Release configuration) The IPA uploads to App Store Connect without errors via eas submit The build appears in TestFlight and passes processing I can add the build to my Internal Testing group Testers receive the TestFlight notification and can see the app What fails: When any tester taps "Install" or "Update," the download begins briefly, then fails with the "not available or doesn't exist" error This affects all internal testers on the account, not just one device Troubleshooting already completed: Verified code signing is correct: Release configuration uses CODE_SIGN_STYLE = Manual, CODE_SIGN_IDENTITY = "iPhone Distribution", with a valid App Store distribution provisioning profile (UUID: 39bc4c63-bc64-403a-a2a6-6737b3d33115) 2. Distribution certificate is valid: Serial 4838CD7571DE5361B98A5FB2F769F74D, not expired (expires 2027-04-16) 3. Regenerated provisioning profile via EAS credentials, removed stale profiles, and rebuilt — same result 4. Incremented build numbers correctly across multiple submissions (3004 → 3005 → 3006) 5. Previously resolved a signing misconfiguration (build 3005 was incorrectly signed with "Apple Development" instead of "iPhone Distribution" due to expo prebuild reverting settings) — this was corrected for build 3006, but the install error persists 6. Confirmed the build is not stuck in processing — it shows as ready for testing in App Store Connect 7. Tested on multiple devices running current iOS versions 8. Cleared TestFlight app cache and reinstalled TestFlight on test devices Why I believe this is a server-side issue: Multiple developers in the Apple Developer Forums have reported the identical symptom — valid builds that upload and process correctly but fail to install with this exact error message. In those cases, Apple Support resolved the issue on their end within 48 hours with no action required from the developer. The signing, provisioning, and build configuration were not the cause. This one is very specific to what I am dealing with https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/778597 One developer stated you fixed it on your side, without any real reasoning which also leads me to believe this is not something I can fix on my end https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/778597?answerId=884241022#884241022 I've exhausted all client-side troubleshooting and believe this may require intervention on Apple's side. Has anyone been able to fix this on their end and not only when App Development called? I went through tons of the feedback and tried it all and it doesn't seem to be fixed. It's been a month or so like this. I can't get any info on who to call. I sent in a report to feedback assistant and through app developer support

Xcode Cloud: Unable to Notarize macOS App (Stuck in Infinite Waiting)
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with Xcode Cloud when trying to notarize my macOS app. As shown in the screenshot, there are no errors in the logs, but the process gets stuck indefinitely. The message says: The post-action could not be completed because the build was canceled. No artifacts are generated at all. This problem started recently. Notarization works perfectly when I submit from my local Xcode, so it seems to be specific to Xcode Cloud. Has anyone else experienced this?

Xcode Cloud resolve packages crash
It's my first time I am configuring the Xcode cloud to build my project. Here is the crash and stack trace Stack trace One thing I noticed when I setup Xcode Cloud - it asked me to grant access to every public github library I have as dependency, I can't do that, as I am not owner or member of those libraries (firebase, swift algorithms, etc) when I tapped "Continue" there was an alert saying if I continue without granting access CI might not be able to fetch dependencies

code Cloud export fails: Session Proxy unable to authenticate with App Store Connect (Code=1, response null)
Xcode Cloud builds fail at the export archive step. The critical log shows: Account "Session Proxy Provider": Unable to authenticate with App Store Connect Error Domain=DVTServicesSessionProviderCredentialITunesAuthenticationContextError Code=1 "(null)" And in DVTITunesSoftwareService.log: App Store Connect response failed with unknown failure; response (null); error (null) error: DVTServicesSessionProviderCredentialITunesAuthenticationContextError.proxy Environment: Xcode Cloud, iOS app, team type Individual (S43L28SVX2) What I have ruled out: Regenerated all DISTRIBUTION_MANAGED certificates (per thread 744683) — portal API is reachable, certs issued successfully Removed an obsolete App Groups entitlement that was causing a secondary error — that error is now gone All agreements accepted, no pending legal items Failure persists across multiple builds with identical symptoms The developer portal API responds correctly. The failure is isolated to the App Store Connect store configuration endpoint specifically, where the proxy returns response (null) — no HTTP response at all. This appears identical to thread https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/810658 where Apple confirmed the root cause was a backend API permission issue for the team requiring an Apple-side fix. Support case 102857550486 was opened but redirected to admin support without technical investigation. Has anyone else hit this recently, or can an Apple engineer look at the backend state for this team?

Xcode Cloud workflow shows "There are no branches available" for Tuist-based repository
Description: I'm trying to set up Xcode Cloud for a tvOS project that uses Tuist for project generation. The workflow is created successfully, but when I try to manually start a build, no branches are listed — it just shows "There are no branches available." Setup: tvOS app project using Tuist 4.x for project generation Hosted on GitHub (private repository, organization) The .xcodeproj and .xcworkspace files were originally in .gitignore (standard practice for Tuist projects) ci_scripts/ci_post_clone.sh is configured to install Tuist and run tuist generate --no-open after cloning What I've tried: Removed *.xcodeproj and *.xcworkspace from .gitignore and committed the generated project.pbxproj to Git — branches still not visible Changed the "Project or Workspace" path in the workflow settings to match the actual location of project.pbxproj (Projects/App/.xcodeproj) — no change Temporarily changed the default branch to one that contains the committed .xcodeproj with project.pbxproj — still no branches available Verified GitHub App (Xcode Cloud) has proper repository access with read permissions for code, metadata, and pull requests Confirmed no webhook configuration issues (compared with another working repository that also has no webhooks) Key observation: When I switch the workflow's source repository to a different repository (a standard Xcode project, not Tuist-based) within the same organization, branches appear correctly. Switching back to the Tuist-based repository shows no branches again. This suggests the issue is specific to the repository structure, not GitHub permissions or workflow configuration. Project structure: Root/ ├── Workspace.swift # Tuist workspace definition ├── Tuist/ │ └── Package.swift # SPM dependencies ├── Projects/ │ └── App/ │ ├── Project.swift # Tuist project definition │ └── <project>.xcodeproj/ │ └── project.pbxproj ← (committed to Git) ├── <project>.xcodeproj/ # Root-level (no project.pbxproj, only xcshareddata/schemes) ├── ci_scripts/ │ └── ci_post_clone.sh # Installs Tuist & generates project └── .gitignore Environment: Xcode version: Latest Release (26.4) macOS: Latest Release (Tahoe 26.4) Tuist version: 4.161.0 Question How does Xcode Cloud discover branches for a repository? Does it require a valid .xcodeproj with project.pbxproj at a specific path on every branch? Is there a known limitation or recommended setup for Tuist-based projects where project files are generated at build time via ci_post_clone.sh?

App targeting iOS 12 crashes on launch when installed via TestFlight but works via Ad Hoc and Xcode direct install
My app targets iOS 12.0 and crashes immediately on launch when installed via TestFlight on an iPad running iOS 12.x. The same archive works perfectly when installed via Ad Hoc distribution or directly from Xcode. This is a regression — the exact same source code, compiled with the same Xcode version, was successfully distributed via TestFlight and the App Store last month (March 2026) without issues. No changes were made to the code, Xcode version, or signing configuration. Steps to reproduce: Archive an app with IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET = 12.0 using Xcode 16.4 Upload to App Store Connect Install via TestFlight on an iPad running iOS 12.x App crashes immediately on launch (pre-main, no crash log generated) Expected: App launches normally (as it did last month) Actual: App is killed immediately, process exits with reason: (none) Console.app shows the process never transitions from xpcproxy to the actual binary — it dies within ~260ms of bootstrap, indicating a dyld or app thinning issue. Environment: Xcode: 16.4 Deployment target: iOS 12.0 ENABLE_BITCODE: NO Device: iOS 12.x Ad Hoc install: WORKS Xcode direct install: WORKS TestFlight install: CRASHES App Store install: CRASHES Anyone else seeing this?

Xcode Cloud Dependency Resolution - out-of-date resolved file
When I try to build my iOS app using Xcode Cloud, it encounters an error when trying to resolve packages: an out-of-date resolved file was detected at [path to package.resolved], which is not allowed when automatic dependency resolution is disabled; please make sure to update the file to reflect the changes in dependencies Looking at my package.resolved file, it all seems to be in order. What can I do to fix it?

HTTP 500 when attempting to resolve SCM repo connectivity issue.
Hello, I'm unable to kick off builds in Xcode Cloud today due to an error connecting to our SCM repo. "Repository Issue Xcode Cloud is unable to connect to the repository “”. Reconnect the repository to resume builds." I can see that this is due to an HTTP 500 error on the /scm-repositories endpoint, which would normally indicate an issue in Xcode Cloud. If on the contrary this indicates an issue on my side, I'd like to hear details and what the resolution might be. Filed an issue here: FB22314855 (Xcode Cloud: HTTP 500 when connecting to SCM provider)

Xcode Cloud Signing Issue
There seems to be a problem to a specific Apple Developer Account regarding Xcode Cloud Distribution (Signing). The Xcode Cloud Error Invalid Signature. Code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s). The file at path “XcodeCloudTest.app/XcodeCloudTest” is not properly signed. Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose “Clean All” in Xcode, delete the “build” directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target. For more information, please consult https://aninterestingwebsite.com/support/code-signing. Investigation Apple Developer Forums This issue seems to be known: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/746210 Debugging by ourselves We setup an example Xcode project from a default iOS Xcode app template to rule out any project issues. This example project failed with the same error as stated above. In the next step we tried the same example project with a different Apple Developer Account and it successfully distributed the example App through Xcode Cloud. Conclusion It seems like there is no setup issue on developer-side, because our example project works out-of-the-box on a different Apple Developer Account. Our only hope is that Apple will have a look on our Developer Account. Maybe there is some internal setting.

Unable to install Metal toolchain through Xcode Cloud
We build TestFlight/App Store builds of our app through Xcode Cloud. Our app uses Metal shaders so we install the Metal toolchain through a ci_pre_xcodebuild.sh script which simply runs: xcodebuild -downloadComponent metalToolchain in our Xcode Cloud builds. This has been working well for us for the last 6 months or so, but since yesterday (March 5) we have been seeing consistent failures when running this script in our Xcode Cloud builds: Beginning asset download... 2026-03-06 04:14:34.727 xcodebuild[13315:58523] Writing error result bundle to /var/folders/6h/_32gb9js77g6c54h3q7g6q1h0000gn/T/ResultBundle_2026-06-03_04-14-0034.xcresult xcodebuild: error: Failed fetching catalog for assetType (com.apple.MobileAsset.MetalToolchain), serverParameters ({ RequestedBuild = 17C7003j; }) Prior to Mar 5 it looks like the toolchain image which was being downloaded/installed was 17C519 but this has now changed to 17C7003j. We haven't changed anything with our Xcode Cloud workflow setup, and the same macOS/Xcode images are being used for the workflow runs (macOS Tahoe 26.2 (25C56) and Xcode 26.3 (17C529) respectively) now as when our builds were succeeding a few days ago. What's the best way to resolve this issue? Looks like we can't even pass an image identifier to xcodebuild -downloadComponent so we're a bit stuck here.

How long did your App Store Small Business Program enrollment take?
Hey everyone I submitted my enrollment for the App Store Small Business Program on February 18th and I'm still waiting for a decision no response yet even after following up. I know Apple doesn't publish an official timeline, so I wanted to ask the community: How long did it take for your enrollment to be approved (or rejected)? A few things that would help: How many days/weeks did you wait? Did you get any follow-up emails asking for more info, or was it just a straight approval? Is there anything you did that helped speed things up? Would really appreciate hearing your experiences it's a bit nerve-wracking waiting without any status update! Thanks in advance!

Xcode Cloud UI test runs often fail due to "The test runner failed to initialize for UI testing. (Underlying Error: Timed out waiting for AX loaded notification)"
I've yet to encounter these errors when running UI tests locally, but I'd estimate that 80-90% of my test runs on Xcode Cloud fail due to it. I'm just testing with iPhone simulators, I've set it to retry on failure, but no luck. Is there a setting or something I can tweak in my test code to improve the situation? I am on the latest xcode/iOS dev betas - but it was doing this before I switched to them from.

Feedback Assistant Unresponsive
Hello, I was told from Developer engineers to post an Xcode issue on Feedback Assistant. It has been 6 weeks and I have yet to receive a single reply or acknowledgement on my feedback post. I would just like to at least get some sort of acknowledgement from Feedback Assistant that my post is being tracked or if a resolution is in work please. Here's the post: https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/21824703
