Activation Time for Apple Developer Program
Hello, I recently submitted a successful application for the Apple Developer Program using the Apple Developer app. I can confirm that my subscription is currently active and valid on the App Store. Could you please let me know how long it typically takes for the developer account to be fully activated? Is it acceptable to simply wait for the activation without contacting support? App crashing on startup
I am a developer working on an iOS enterprise application. When I deployed the release version to my device, it crashes upon startup. It works fine in debug mode on my device. The app is an upgraded version of Xamarin Form to .NET MAUI. I have attached a crash report. I would appreciate any help/insights on how to resolve. --John

Over 1 Month Delay in U.S. Corporate Account Registration
Hi Apple Developer Community, Since March 2nd, we’ve been trying to register a corporate account for our U.S. company. However, we stopped receiving any updates after March 18th. The last message we received was: "We have received your documents and we'll contact you when an update is available." We’ve followed up several times since then, explaining that we have an app launch and a marketing campaign scheduled for early April, but we still haven’t heard back. Here are our ticket numbers: 102547989016 and 102558098664. Has anyone else experienced something similar, or does anyone know how we can get some help? We’ve provided all the requested information and are really worried about the delay. Thanks in advance!

Custom font not support in Xcode 16.3
I'm experiencing an issue with a custom font not loading properly in Xcode 16.3. The font files are included in the bundle, listed in Info.plist, and verified for correct names using UIFont.familyNames, but they still don't appear at runtime. Has anyone else run into this with Xcode 16.3? Could this be related to recent changes in asset packaging or font catalogs?

Apple Developer Program Renewal Issue
Dear Apple, I had successfully renew my membership with bellow email "Your Apple Developer Program membership has been renewed for another year and your membership details are below. We look forward to the innovative new apps you'll bring to Apple platforms." A few days later, I got another email After several attempts, we're unable to collect payment using the payment method you provided to renew your Apple Developer Program membership. Your access to the Apple Developer Program has been disabled. At https://aninterestingwebsite.com/account, It displays a button with "Enroll today" instead of "Renew membership". Clicking it show below error "Your Apple Account is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership." I've tried getting support from https://aninterestingwebsite.com/contact/topic/SC1101/subtopic/30007/solution/select, but no reply after a few days. PLEASE HELPPPPP, we need this urgently

How to Complete the Apple Developer Program Enrollment I want to register an Apple Developer account. I've communicated many times with Apple technical Advisors via email but haven't received effective solutions. If there are any updates, we will notify you as soon as possible." Almost every time I get the same response, but there's been no progress. Could other developers in the forum give me some advice? How should I communicate to successfully complete the registration? Additional background information: I previously submitted my documents and passed the review, but encountered issues at the payment stage when using a credit card. I asked the advisor whether alternative payment methods were possible if I couldn't use a credit card—I just wanted to understand the options. However, my application was directly revoked and switched to applying via the mobile app, forcing me to restart the entire process. Now, I'm stuck because the mobile app keeps reporting errors. I hope to switch back to the web application instead. Currently, the web application portal remains unavailable. If any Apple technical advisors see this, please help address my issue. Build artefacts not available in Xcode Cloud
This appears to be the same issue as wasresolved here, but given that post is marked as solved, I thought it appropriate to open a new thread. I have no access to build artefacts for any of the App Store Connect teams I'm a member of. I have Admin or App Manager permissions for the teams I've tried. Clicking the download link for any artefact directs to a single json string: {"message":"You are not authorized to access this team’s resources."} Trying through the build navigator in Xcode 16.3 crashes Xcode.

Xcode Cloud Build Number Increment Approach
It is a bit strange what Xcode Cloud has implemented on how they manage the Build Numbers https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/xcode/setting-the-next-build-number-for-xcode-cloud-builds Intead of just looking at the project configuration as the source of truth, they run their own build number and totally ignore the project config value. Also, interesting that instead of solving it they have a "Set Build Number" menu in the settings which is a pain to manually manage everytime they got out of sync. Is there any way to turn this madness off and consider the project config as the source of truth?

Intermittent Screen Lock During Appium Tests on iOS 18 Simulator
I am running Appium tests on an iOS 18 simulator, and I am encountering an intermittent issue where the device screen gets locked unexpectedly during the tests. The Appium logs show no errors or unusual activity, and all commands appear to be executed successfully. However, upon reviewing the device logs, I see entries related to the lock event, but the exact cause remains unclear. Recording WKWebView
I am trying to record the requests and responses in a WKWebView, but instruments does not seem to record them. Is this to be expected? The webView is set to inspectable, and I am using the HTTP Traffic instrument. All the requests the app is doing are recorded, but neither the original request for the webView, nor subsequent traffic is recorded. When I use Safari to inspect the webView, all I see is the last page (even when I start the inspector before the first request is made). How can I see these requests?

Questions about Deployment Targets in Xcode
The “Deployment Targets” for iOS was IOS12 or higher in Xcode15, but is now listed as IOS15 or higher in Xcode16. https://aninterestingwebsite.com/support/xcode/ How does this change affect developers and users? For example, if a developer specifies less than iOS15 in the “iOS Deployment Target” on Xcode, how will this affect them? Also, will users under iOS 15 be unable to run the apps?

Unity (IL2CPP) iOS Build: "_placeGeoAnchor" Undefined Symbol for Architecture arm64
Hi all, I’m running into a persistent linker error when building my Unity 6 project (IL2CPP, iOS target) that calls a Swift method via an Objective-C++ wrapper. Despite following all known steps, I keep getting: Undefined symbols for architecture arm64: "_placeGeoAnchor", referenced from: _GeoAnchorTrigger_placeGeoAnchor in libGameAssembly.a ... ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64 I’m trying to place a persistent AR anchor at real-world GPS coordinates (so that the same asset can appear at the same location for a returning user). Since I’m targeting iOS, I can’t use Google’s geospatial anchors (but I sooo wish I could--please apple I beg of you stop being so selfish lol). I've already done these things: Swift file is added to Unity-iPhone target. .mm and .h files are in Unity-iPhone target under Compile Sources. Bridging header is set to Unity-iPhone-Bridging-Header.h. Generated header name is correct (GeoTest-Swift.h). Build Active Architecture Only set to No. Function has attribute((visibility("default"))). Unity project uses IL2CPP scripting backend. Yet I'm still getting the same linker error — it appears Unity (via IL2CPP) references the function, but Xcode doesn't link it. It’s something small that’s being missed with how IL2CPP links native symbols? Or maybe I need to explicitly include something in Link Binary With Libraries? I’ve verified symbol visibility and targets repeatedly. I’ve built AR features in Unity before (for Quest), but this is my first time trying to bridge C# → Objective-C++ → Swift in this way for a geolocation-based AR anchor for an iphone. Apple developer program membership issue
Hi, I paid to renew my membership and I received an order confirmation email. But when i go to my account it says it is still expired - so what did i pay for then? I've emailed Apple developer support and they just sent me a generic bot/copy and paste email telling me i need to renew my account. Everyone i speak to tells me to click a link and it just leads to an email option, i email them, then i get an unhelpful email, then the cycle repeats. It's like: Me: "Hey Apple, i've just paid to renew my account and you're not giving me what i paid for". Apple: "Just renew your account". Me: "....yeah but that's the issue" Apple: "click this link to send an email and start the infinite useless cycle all over again". I have also called apple multiple times and spoke with three people and they are not able to help. I spoke with one of the people's managers and i explained to him that i've stuck in this infinite loop where nothing gets resolved and he sent me a link which just. lead. to. the. same. email. option! I then explained that this is like a dystopian sci-fi movie where this faceless mega-corp (Apple) has taken my money for a service and not given me that service (false advertising / crime). He said he can't help. Then you know what he said? ................... ........ ..... .. "post on the forum". So Apple takes my money and doesn't give me the service they advertised to me then says they can't help me and that i have to ask in the forum. I said "so basically you're advising me that non-apple employees are better suited to help me than Apple employees, lol". What should i do here?? I have a had a team of developers stop working for weeks and this has brought my app development plan to a halt, costing me money.

Xcode 16.2: build fails with errors from another project
When I thought Xcode could not get any worse, here's the most absurd thing I have ever seen developing software in almost 20 years of work. When building a project, which I haven't touched lately, and last time it was building just fine, it raised errors on a class that doesn't even belong in any way to such project, it only exists in another one. To clarify, we're talking of a project written in C++ which runs only on mac, which is failing due to linker errors, where the linker can not find symbols of a class living in a different project and that is not referenced in any way inside this project. I mean, really? how does Apple manage to make Xcode more and more unstable by the minute? Starting from Xcode 15.1 I was already experiencing much longer building times, due to the fact that it doesn't manage the cache properly and is rebuilding lots of stuff every time..

One of my recent version metrics disappear in Xcode organizer metrics
Hello, For one of my recent release (2 versions ago), I used to be able to check its p50 of Hang Rate, but now it disappear and not showing up in XCode Organizer Metrics anymore. The p90 of Hang Rate of this version is still there. It's so unpredictable. Is there something we can do to get this data to populate? If not, may I understand usually why this issue will happen, is it something frond-end bug or is it because there is some thing abnormal going on in the back-end data?

Build artefacts not available in Xcode Cloud
This appears to be the same issue as wasresolved here, but given that post is marked as solved, I thought it appropriate to open a new thread. I have no access to build artefacts for any of the App Store Connect teams I'm a member of. I have Admin or App Manager permissions for the teams I've tried. Clicking the download link for any artefact directs to a single json string: {"message":"You are not authorized to access this team’s resources."} Trying through the build navigator in Xcode 16.3 crashes Xcode.

Xcode Cloud Build Number Increment Approach
It is a bit strange what Xcode Cloud has implemented on how they manage the Build Numbers https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/xcode/setting-the-next-build-number-for-xcode-cloud-builds Intead of just looking at the project configuration as the source of truth, they run their own build number and totally ignore the project config value. Also, interesting that instead of solving it they have a "Set Build Number" menu in the settings which is a pain to manually manage everytime they got out of sync. Is there any way to turn this madness off and consider the project config as the source of truth?

Intermittent Screen Lock During Appium Tests on iOS 18 Simulator
I am running Appium tests on an iOS 18 simulator, and I am encountering an intermittent issue where the device screen gets locked unexpectedly during the tests. The Appium logs show no errors or unusual activity, and all commands appear to be executed successfully. However, upon reviewing the device logs, I see entries related to the lock event, but the exact cause remains unclear. Recording WKWebView
I am trying to record the requests and responses in a WKWebView, but instruments does not seem to record them. Is this to be expected? The webView is set to inspectable, and I am using the HTTP Traffic instrument. All the requests the app is doing are recorded, but neither the original request for the webView, nor subsequent traffic is recorded. When I use Safari to inspect the webView, all I see is the last page (even when I start the inspector before the first request is made). How can I see these requests?

Questions about Deployment Targets in Xcode
The “Deployment Targets” for iOS was IOS12 or higher in Xcode15, but is now listed as IOS15 or higher in Xcode16. https://aninterestingwebsite.com/support/xcode/ How does this change affect developers and users? For example, if a developer specifies less than iOS15 in the “iOS Deployment Target” on Xcode, how will this affect them? Also, will users under iOS 15 be unable to run the apps?

Unity (IL2CPP) iOS Build: "_placeGeoAnchor" Undefined Symbol for Architecture arm64
Hi all, I’m running into a persistent linker error when building my Unity 6 project (IL2CPP, iOS target) that calls a Swift method via an Objective-C++ wrapper. Despite following all known steps, I keep getting: Undefined symbols for architecture arm64: "_placeGeoAnchor", referenced from: _GeoAnchorTrigger_placeGeoAnchor in libGameAssembly.a ... ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64 I’m trying to place a persistent AR anchor at real-world GPS coordinates (so that the same asset can appear at the same location for a returning user). Since I’m targeting iOS, I can’t use Google’s geospatial anchors (but I sooo wish I could--please apple I beg of you stop being so selfish lol). I've already done these things: Swift file is added to Unity-iPhone target. .mm and .h files are in Unity-iPhone target under Compile Sources. Bridging header is set to Unity-iPhone-Bridging-Header.h. Generated header name is correct (GeoTest-Swift.h). Build Active Architecture Only set to No. Function has attribute((visibility("default"))). Unity project uses IL2CPP scripting backend. Yet I'm still getting the same linker error — it appears Unity (via IL2CPP) references the function, but Xcode doesn't link it. It’s something small that’s being missed with how IL2CPP links native symbols? Or maybe I need to explicitly include something in Link Binary With Libraries? I’ve verified symbol visibility and targets repeatedly. I’ve built AR features in Unity before (for Quest), but this is my first time trying to bridge C# → Objective-C++ → Swift in this way for a geolocation-based AR anchor for an iphone. Apple developer program membership issue
Hi, I paid to renew my membership and I received an order confirmation email. But when i go to my account it says it is still expired - so what did i pay for then? I've emailed Apple developer support and they just sent me a generic bot/copy and paste email telling me i need to renew my account. Everyone i speak to tells me to click a link and it just leads to an email option, i email them, then i get an unhelpful email, then the cycle repeats. It's like: Me: "Hey Apple, i've just paid to renew my account and you're not giving me what i paid for". Apple: "Just renew your account". Me: "....yeah but that's the issue" Apple: "click this link to send an email and start the infinite useless cycle all over again". I have also called apple multiple times and spoke with three people and they are not able to help. I spoke with one of the people's managers and i explained to him that i've stuck in this infinite loop where nothing gets resolved and he sent me a link which just. lead. to. the. same. email. option! I then explained that this is like a dystopian sci-fi movie where this faceless mega-corp (Apple) has taken my money for a service and not given me that service (false advertising / crime). He said he can't help. Then you know what he said? ................... ........ ..... .. "post on the forum". So Apple takes my money and doesn't give me the service they advertised to me then says they can't help me and that i have to ask in the forum. I said "so basically you're advising me that non-apple employees are better suited to help me than Apple employees, lol". What should i do here?? I have a had a team of developers stop working for weeks and this has brought my app development plan to a halt, costing me money.

Xcode 16.2: build fails with errors from another project
When I thought Xcode could not get any worse, here's the most absurd thing I have ever seen developing software in almost 20 years of work. When building a project, which I haven't touched lately, and last time it was building just fine, it raised errors on a class that doesn't even belong in any way to such project, it only exists in another one. To clarify, we're talking of a project written in C++ which runs only on mac, which is failing due to linker errors, where the linker can not find symbols of a class living in a different project and that is not referenced in any way inside this project. I mean, really? how does Apple manage to make Xcode more and more unstable by the minute? Starting from Xcode 15.1 I was already experiencing much longer building times, due to the fact that it doesn't manage the cache properly and is rebuilding lots of stuff every time..

One of my recent version metrics disappear in Xcode organizer metrics
Hello, For one of my recent release (2 versions ago), I used to be able to check its p50 of Hang Rate, but now it disappear and not showing up in XCode Organizer Metrics anymore. The p90 of Hang Rate of this version is still there. It's so unpredictable. Is there something we can do to get this data to populate? If not, may I understand usually why this issue will happen, is it something frond-end bug or is it because there is some thing abnormal going on in the back-end data?
