Invalid Signature with Xcode Cloud
Hello guys, I currently have a problem with Xcode cloud. When I setup a simple workflow in my Xcode project that just archives it and builds the project for TestFlight Internal testing, it will fail and give the following error: Invalid Signature. Code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s). The file at path “DropIn.app/DropIn” is not properly signed. Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose “Clean All” in Xcode, delete the “build” directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target. For more information, please consult https://aninterestingwebsite.com/support/code-signing. I've already been searching for solutions and double checked the documentation. My Xcode project is a simple iOS app with the app target and two other targets for tests and UI tests. I made sure the checkbox "Automatically manage signing" is ticked in all targets. The workflow has only one action "Archive - iOS" with TestFlight (Internal Testing Only) and a post-action "TestFlight Internal Testing - iOS" with an internal testing group assigned. I've seen people having similar problems where it turned out they had a non roman character in their name? This would also affect me if that's the case, since my name includes "ö". I also checked on app store connect and already deleted xcode cloud data, removed all certificates recreated the workflow, but it still gives this error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Xcode cloud failed resolving package dependencies
Hello. We've built our app with Xcode cloud until now. And we faced a issue after we changed some dependencies in SPM. the problems occur while resolving below dependencies https://github.com/naver/naveridlogin-sdk-ios-swift https://github.com/navermaps/SPM-NMapsMap with below message. xcodebuild: error: Could not resolve package dependencies: failed downloading 'https://repository.map.naver.com/archive/pod/NMapsMap/3.21.0/NMapsMap.zip' which is required by binary target 'NMapsMapBinary': downloadError("A server with the specified hostname could not be found.") failed downloading 'https://repository.map.naver.com/archive/pod/NMapsGeometry/1.0.2/NMapsGeometry.zip' which is required by binary target 'NMapsGeometry': downloadError("A server with the specified hostname could not be found.") is there a way to handle this error by ourselves? we need your help. thank you.

Invalid Bundle ID: XCode Cloud -> Create App on App Store Connect
Hi - I was recently added to Apple Developer Team, and I am trying to upload an App to our Team's App Store Connect account for TestFlight distribution. I am trying to use XCode Cloud to this all automatically, but it is currently giving me this error: "Invalid Bundle ID. Bundle ID "com.XXX.YYY" could not be automatically registered because it is not available. Update the bundle ID of your project and try again." I am not sure if this is related to the fact that when I try to associate my XCode Account (XCode -> Settings -> Accounts), I only see my (Personal Team) account even after removing that account and re-adding it. Additionally, when I go my App -> Targets -> Signing & Capabilities and I check / uncheck automatically manage signing. I only see my Personal Team account. When I try to download a Provisioning Profile, I see "No Valid Teams, Unable to Find Any Valid Teams." I need to keep the bundle ID of the project as is because it is associated with a Firebase backend. What should I try next? Thanks!

Xcode Cloud Build Number Increment Approach
It is a bit strange what Xcode Cloud has implemented on how they manage the Build Numbers https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/xcode/setting-the-next-build-number-for-xcode-cloud-builds Intead of just looking at the project configuration as the source of truth, they run their own build number and totally ignore the project config value. Also, interesting that instead of solving it they have a "Set Build Number" menu in the settings which is a pain to manually manage everytime they got out of sync. Is there any way to turn this madness off and consider the project config as the source of truth?

Cannot download
Since today, all our team members cannot download artifacts from Xcode Cloud builds. We get a JSON response that contains: {"message":"You are not authorized to access this team’s resources."} System Status doesn't show any issues at the time. Is there an action we can follow to restore proper access? Thank you in advance.

Build artefacts not available in Xcode Cloud
This appears to be the same issue as wasresolved here, but given that post is marked as solved, I thought it appropriate to open a new thread. I have no access to build artefacts for any of the App Store Connect teams I'm a member of. I have Admin or App Manager permissions for the teams I've tried. Clicking the download link for any artefact directs to a single json string: {"message":"You are not authorized to access this team’s resources."} Trying through the build navigator in Xcode 16.3 crashes Xcode.

How to pay for Xcode Cloud via the Apple Developer account?
Hi, Our organisation just ran out of the included Xcode Cloud hours. I now want to upgrade (I am the account holder). There does not seem to be a way to do this on the Apple Developer and/or App Store Connect websites, as you'd expect. The Get started with Xcode Cloud page mentions that I need to use the Apple Developer app. However, when I sign up to this in the Apple Developer app, the account shown when pressing Subscribe is my personal account, not any account related to the organization: It is impossible to change the payment details. How can I use the organization account to pay for this, as I obviously do not want to get charged to my personal account? Thanks.

Random exportArchive 70 Error Code When Using Xcode Cloud for Build
Recently, I’ve noticed that the Archive workflow on Xcode Cloud frequently fails randomly with the following error: ❌ Exporting for App Store Distribution failed. Please download the logs artifact for more information I’m not sure if this issue is on my side or if it’s related to Xcode Cloud itself. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Xcode Cloud Signing Issue
There seems to be a problem to a specific Apple Developer Account regarding Xcode Cloud Distribution (Signing). The Xcode Cloud Error Invalid Signature. For more information, please consult https://aninterestingwebsite.com/support/code-signing. Investigation Apple Developer Forums This issue seems to be known: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/746210 Debugging by ourselves We setup an example Xcode project from a default iOS Xcode app template to rule out any project issues. This example project failed with the same error as stated above. In the next step we tried the same example project with a different Apple Developer Account and it successfully distributed the example App through Xcode Cloud. Conclusion It seems like there is no setup issue on developer-side, because our example project works out-of-the-box on a different Apple Developer Account. Our only hope is that Apple will have a look on our Developer Account. Maybe there is some internal setting.

Xcode Cloud won't load from Xcode or App Store Connect
I am setting up a new app and am having problems with Xcode Cloud. From Xcode if I click on the "Cloud" button under the Report Navigator I get a spinner for a long time then get the message "Could not load Xcode Cloud data". I also visited the "Xcode Cloud" tab under my app in App Store Connect and I get a spinner and nothing loads. This is a recent account and I'm setting up Xcode Cloud for the first time. Below is what I've tried and I'm out of ideas on how to get this working. In Xcode, I signed out and back in as the Account Holder Closed Xcode and reopened This occurred yesterday and today and have not seen a problem under the Apple System Status page On the latest Xcode 16.2 Checked the Signing & Capabilities tab in Xcode and my team a bundle Id is correct and it's happy with signing. At this time on my machine I am using the distribution profile.

Xcode Cloud randomly fails to resolve package dependencies
Hi folks, I've been having this issue for the last few months, where Xcode Cloud fails to resolve Swift package dependencies while compiling my builds, seemingly at random. Some of my Xcode Cloud builds will fail after several minutes, with an error log looking like that : xcodebuild: error: Could not resolve package dependencies: failed downloading 'https://dl.google.com/firebase/ios/bin/grpc/1.62.2/rc0/grpcpp.zip' which is required by binary target 'grpcpp': downloadError("The request timed out.") Whenever this happens, I have to manually restart an Xcode Cloud build process (or several builds, since the error can happen multiple times in a row), to the point it's becoming increasingly painful to rely on Xcode Cloud for my workflow. The failing packages are mostly random (meaning, it's not always the same one that Xcode fails to resolve), but they are always publicly accessible, even though I have an environment variable set in my Xcode workflows to retrieve a single Github private dependency (maybe this has some kind of importance). Could anyone tell me if this is an isolated issue, or if I could do anything on my end to resolve this ? Thank you !

UI Tests with mock server
I'm using Xcode Cloud for release builds and unit tests, and it works fine. Recently, I added some XCUITests, but to run it the way I need I started to use this mock server. Basically, the idea is you define before each test what responses you want to get for specific requests. It works like a charm locally. But if I want to run it in Xcode Cloud, it looks like the server has failed to launch. The mock server is a separately launched binary file. I think this is because this permission I get when launch it locally. So, my question is how to allow this kind of permission in Xcode Cloud to make my UITests works correctly? You can find a detailed instruction how server is launched on a github page I provided.

Xcode Cloud on Apple Silicon any time soon?
I'm currently using another provider for CI/CD. They've been offering Apple Silicon builds for over a year now. When we switched over, we saw our build times cut in half. I've seen similar results locally, back when I bought an M1 Mac. So, recently, I tried to use Xcode Cloud on my project. My build time is nearly 45 minutes, where my build time on my current system is about 15 minutes, max. Since I work on a team, and we make regular commits, having a 45 minute turnaround is not ideal. When I looked at the logs of my Xcode Cloud project, I saw a lot "x86_64" stuff in there, which led me to believe that Xcode Cloud is still building on Intel machines. Additionally, I run tests on my builds. The build time alone (before running tests) was almost 20 minutes. The 15-minute time I cited with my current CI/CD included build time & tests running. So, a whole cycle finishes on my current setup before tests are even run. I noticed that there was a bunch of x86_64 in the logs, which made me think that Xcode Cloud is still using Intel. Is this true? I've just gotten really used to faster build times, and I can't move onto a system like this, where the times are so drastically different. Like, I wouldn't mind build time that would add only a few more minutes to what I have now. But going from 15 -> 45 minutes is a real problem.

Thanks!

Xcode Cloud not selecting latest Xcode Release when directed to
My Xcode Cloud workflows tell me the 'Latest Release' Xcode that it's using is Xcode 16.1 Release Candidate (16B40) Obviously that is well out of date at this point, plus, an RC is not a release version. How can I tell Xcode Cloud to always use the latest (non-RC) release version?
