I submitted a mac app for Notarization. For the first few tries the Notarization failed with an error "Team is not yet configured for Notarization" but few days after my account started to show "ENROLL" option again even though my membership was set to expire on 2026. I am doubting my account has been suspended. I have not received any emails from apple regarding the suspension. I have contacted support but no help yet ! This was the second year, i was paying for the membership. Could you please help me to - Help me get the account unsuspended (if it is, as there is no notification or information regarding this) If the account is suspended due to my app being submitted for Notarization then help me identify the reason so that i can fix them. I'm starting a new project in Xcode, but the Team ID in the "Signing and Capabilities" section for iOS is different from the one on the website. Is this a problem? Why does Xcode automatically send a different ID when signing?

I am a developer with the following roles: Apple Developer Team = admin Using expo & EAS to build & sign = developer We are running a new project so credentials need to be sync'd up. With EAS i can either upload a p12 or use the automatic app signing credentials. I have successfully run this in other projects including another where I am the account owner/holder. In our local test configurations, a developer can sign test apps for device installation using any key associated with the company team. However, if a developer accidentally chooses an identity from some other team, installation fails with no information about the problem. It just mentions that no provisioning profile could be found, leaving everyone in the dark about what is wrong. Instead, we would like to pre-validate the selected signing identity by checking the team name or id. This could be done, for example, by extracting the x509 certificate from the signing identity and checking the "OU" field (which is set to the team id). However, none of the apple commands will divulge the x509 certificate from a developer id. So far our best options is to create a fake app, sign the app, then use command: codesign --display --extract-certificates This solution seems excessively serpentine. Is there no direct command that will accept the sha of a signing identity and return a nice .pem containing the associated certificate chain? Or, better yet, is there a command that takes the signing identity and simply returns the name or id of the associated team?

Dear Apple Support, for better understanding to use the Notary Service, I would like to ask when and what have to be notarized. I am absolutely aware of using the Notary Service and which packages can be submitted and how to get the status. Scenario: We have one library which is developed by a specific team and other teams develop and deliver to customer MacOS apps which packages this library for the shipment. So, the library will be produced internally and will be shipped in different products. The library will be code signed before we make available internally. When should we notarize (and staple) this library? Directly after the code is signed or when it will be packaged in each product when it will be delivered to customer? Best regards, Stefan

I am on a mission to secure our key material for our iOS app's code signing certificate. My first endeavor with storing the code signing certificate on a YubiKey is a marginal success - it seems that with a pin policy that requires entering the PIN at least once we must enter the PIN umpteen times per build. Creating a certificate with a policy of never would be ill-advised. On the other hand, we could chose to store the code signing certificate in the Secure Enclave. However, it seems that I am only allowed to create eliptic curve private keys and not RSA keys in the secure enclave. When I attempt to upload a certificate signing request to AppStoreConnect, I am told that only an RSA2048 key will do. What I am after is a way to authenticate access to the certificate once per boot so that we can make multiple builds per day without manual intervention whilst also ensuring that the key material is not stored on disk. A yubikey would be preferable, but I am fine with the secure enclave if need be. Is there a way to achieve this? Best regards, Emīls

Context: I am building an iOS productivity app using EAS Build. The project has 4 targets: the main app and 3 extensions (ShieldAction, ShieldConfiguration, ActivityMonitorExtension). The Issue: I have officially received approval from Apple for the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement for my main Bundle ID. However, the build still fails during the Xcode phase. The Errors: Xcode reports that the generated provisioning profiles do not include the com.apple.developer.family-controls entitlement. For example: Provisioning profile "*[expo] com.*.** AdHoc 177247892...." doesn't support the Family Controls capability. All 3 extensions are failing with the exact same error. What I've done: Confirmed approval from Apple for com.*.**. Enabled Family Controls and App Groups on the Apple Developer Portal for all 4 Identifiers. Cleared EAS local and remote cache using eas build --clear-cache. Deleted existing profiles on both Expo.dev and Apple Portal to force regeneration. The Question: Even with official approval, why does EAS continue to generate "empty" profiles for my Ad-Hoc development build? Do I need separate approval for each extension's Bundle ID, or is there a way to force EAS to sync these "Managed Capabilities" correctly?

Hi everyone, We're experiencing a critical and persistent code signing failure (HTTP 403) after accepting the latest Apple Developer Agreement, blocking our application release. Problem: Despite confirming the new Apple Developer Agreement is signed and active on the portal, code signing attempts return an HTTP 403 error, stating a "required agreement is missing or has expired." Steps Taken: Accepted new Apple Developer Agreement. Verified active developer membership and valid certificates (good for years). Cleared caches, restarted systems. Confirmed Team ID, Apple ID, and provisioning profile validity. Any help is greatly appreciated, its been stuck for more than 2 days now.

I have been notarizing the same program for 3 years now and it's usually completed in minutes. I have not changed anything on my end, is there a reason it's taking 24+ hours all of a sudden? I have seen the posts regarding this issue for new applications where it has to "learn", but I have been notarizing the same apps for 3 years now.

I am making an iOS step counting app and I have included a widget in the design. I would like to get the widget to pull data from the main app to display step count etc so I created a bundle id for the widget and have been trying to use a group id to link them together. The group capabilities for both seem to be set up/enabled properly with the same App Groups id, but I've been getting an error in xcode which says, " 'Provisioning Profile: "BUNDLE_ID" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.security.application-groups entitlement.' Try Again But the identifiers do have the App Group id enabled. I have tried automatic signing, manual signing with generated profiles, unchecking and rechecking auto-signing, removing and re-adding the group capability. Creating a new bundle id from scratch, creating a new group id from scratch. Always I get the error. I've really pulled my hair out troubleshooting this and would appreciate support. The core functionality relies on automatic time-based blocking (e.g., block social media apps from 6-8am daily). The Problem: I have Family Controls working perfectly in development builds, but I'm blocked from distributing via TestFlight due to entitlement issues with my Device Activity Monitor extension. Apple has introduced the Wireless Insights Service Predictions capability in iOS 26. After prior alignment with Apple engineers, we are working to integrate this capability into the Douyin App, and intend to provide a TestFlight build for Apple engineers to validate and debug the integration. We have encountered a blocking issue with entitlement configuration: We use our Apple Developer Enterprise Program account to build and submit TestFlight builds. When we manually create and configure provisioning profiles via the Apple Developer Portal, the required entitlement key com.apple.developer.wireless-insights.service-predictions is not available for selection or inclusion in the profile's Entitlements. This completely blocks us from enabling, using, and validating the Wireless Insights Service Predictions capability. For comparison, when we use our Apple Developer Program individual account, the entitlement com.apple.developer.wireless-insights.service-predictions is fully available. It is automatically included in provisioning profiles generated for local debugging, and can also be manually added to custom provisioning profiles via the Apple Developer Portal without issues. We request assistance to resolve this entitlement access discrepancy for our Enterprise Program account, so that we can complete the integration and provide the TestFlight build for validation as planned.

I have an existing app in App Store Connect. I added the SharedWithYou functionality to the app code and tested it on several devices. Everything is working as expected. One of the first steps was to add the com.apple.developer.shared-with-you entitlement to the Entitlements.plist file. This required a round of updates for app identifiers and provisioning profiles. When I upload the production build for testing in TestFlight I receive the following error: 90919: Invalid entitlement. The “” bundle has the com.apple.developer.shared-with-you entitlement, but it doesn’t use the Shared with You framework. Please remove the entitlement and upload a new build. I'm using SWHighlight, SWHighlightCenter, and SWAttributionView in several places throughout my app... I filed an issue in the Feedback Assistant but so far, have not received any response.
