Alarmkit and Hardware button action.
Hi Im creating an app with Alarmkit, the idea is to have the hardware buttons react like they do in Alarmclock with a snooze or if the buttons can just mute without intent. right now, hardware button end and dismisses the Alarm. its instinct to click that button. apple needs to update or do something.

LiveCallerId OHTTP Relay: Works in TestFlight, failing in Production (Bundle ID: no.opplysningen.bedrift.LiveCallerId)
We’ve been implementing LiveCallerId using OHTTP and have hit a wall with the production environment. The setup works perfectly in TestFlight, but the release version of the app is consistently being rejected by the Apple OHTTP Relay when trying to tunnel traffic to our gateway. Timeline & Status: Applied via the form in September 2025. Received confirmation in November 2025 that our /.well-known/ohttp-keys endpoint was correctly configured. Since then, we've struggled to get a dialogue with Apple to confirm the final production whitelisting. Technical Observations: Our ohttp-keys endpoint is being polled frequently (every few minutes). Based on the traffic, this is clearly the Apple Relay infrastructure fetching/refreshing the keys, not the devices themselves. This suggests the Relay "sees" our configuration, yet it still refuses to tunnel traffic to our gateway in the production environment. Since everything is functional in TestFlight, our implementation seems correct. It feels like there is a configuration mismatch or a missing "production flip" on the Relay side for our Bundle ID. If anyone from the Apple engineering team could verify the status for this Bundle ID, it would be a huge help. We've been stuck in this "TestFlight-only" state for quite a while now.

Push To Talk framework doesn't active audio session in background
We are trying to extend our app with Push To Talk functionality by integrating the Push To Talk framework. We are extensively testing what happens if the app is running in the foreground, in the background or not running at all. When the app is in the foreground, and the user has joined a channel we maintain an open connection to our server. When a remote participant starts streaming audio, we immediately call setActiveRemoteParticipant on our PTChannelManager instance. The PTT system will than call our delegate's channelManager:didActivate audioSession method and we can successfully play the incoming audio. When the app is not running at all, there is of course no active connection initially. When another participant starts talking we send a push notification. The PTT system will start our app in the background, call the incomingPushResult method on our delegate, after returning the remote participant the PTT framework will then call the channelmanager:didJoin delegate method which we will use to re-establish the server connection, the PTT framework then calls our channelManager:didActivate audioSession delegate method and we can then successfully play audio. Now the problem. When the application was initially in the foreground and has an established server connection, we initially keep the server connection active when the app enters the background state, until a certain timeout or the system decides our app needs to be killed / removed from memory. This allows us to finish an incoming audio stream, quickly react on incoming responses etc. When we then receive an incoming audio stream after a certain delay (for example 5 seconds) we call the channelManager.setRemoteParticipant method (using try await syntax). This finishes successfully, without any error, however the channelManager:didActivate audioSession delegate method is never called. Manually setting up an audio session is not allowed either and returns an error. Our current workaround for this issue is to disconnect the server connection as soon as the app goes into the background. This will make sure our server sends a push notification, which is successful in activating the audio session after which we can play audio. However, this means we need to re-establish the connection which will introduce an unnecessary delay before we can start playback (and currently means we loose some audio). This also means we need to do extra checks when going to the background to make sure there is no active incoming stream. After each incoming stream we have to check again if we are in the background and disconnect immediately to make sure we get a push notification next time. This can of course also lead to race conditions in an active conversation where we might need to disconnect between incoming streams and if we don't do this in time we might never get an activated audio session. Now this might be by design, as Apple might not want us to keep the server connection active when the application enters the background state. But if that's the case I would expect the channelManager.setRemoteParticipant method to throw an error, but it doesn't. It returns successfully after which we would expect the audio session to get activated as well. So maybe we are not setting the capabilities of our project correctly (we might need other background permissions as well, although we already experimented with that), or we need to do something else to make this work?

Screentime API Main App + Shield Questions
I'm building an app that uses the Family Controls / Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings). My app has three targets, each with a distinct Bundle ID: Main App Shield Configuration Extension ShieldAction Extension All three have com.apple.developer.family-controls in their entitlements files, and they share an App Group. My question is about the distribution entitlement request form at aninterestingwebsite.com/contact/request/family-controls-distribution: does the form need to be submitted once per Bundle ID, or is a single submission for the main app sufficient to then enable Family Controls (Distribution) for the extension Bundle IDs in the developer portal as well? I've seen conflicting reports in other forum threads — some developers say one submission covers all targets, others say separate submissions are needed per Bundle ID. I've already submitted the main app, but now I am wondering whether I should submit one for each Shield extension. Thanks!

Apple-hosted managed asset pack not found on macOS
Hi all, I have set up a trivial test project to try Apple-hosted background assets following the instructions in the three articles at https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/backgroundassets. When I run the local mock server with xcrun ba-serve and set the URL override in Settings as described in the "Testing asset packs locally" article, I am able to download a test pack on my iOS devices. On the Mac that I use to run the mock server, however, the same call to AssetPackManager.shared.assetPack(withID: "TestAssetPack") that works on iOS always reports The asset pack with the ID “TestAssetPack” couldn’t be looked up: No asset pack with the ID “TestAssetPack” was found. even when not running the mock server, which led me to believe that it may not be hitting it at all. In fact, the macOS app will download asset packs uploaded to App Store Connect even when running the local server and setting the xcrun ba-serve url-override to the exact same string as in Settings on iOS. My initial suspicion was that something is wrong with the URL override, so I have tried all combinations of the Mac's hostname, IP address or "localhost" (with the corresponding SSL certificates) with and without port 443, always prefixing with "https://" for the url-override. All the same. Does anyone have an idea what may be the issue here? My asset pack has the following manifest: { "assetPackID": "TestAssetPack", "downloadPolicy": { "onDemand": {} }, "fileSelectors": [ { "file": "TestAsset.txt" } ], "platforms": [ "iOS", "macOS" ] } I am running v26.1 for macOS, iOS & Xcode. Edit: Just to be clear, my assumption here is that the URL overrides (in Settings on iOS or via ba-serve on macOS) is what should cause the app to hit the mock server. Is that correct or am I missing something?

Open parent app from ShieldAction extension in iOS

Problems with iPad Pro M4 13 inch
We have an iOS/iPadOS (mixed use of UIKit/SwiftUI) app on the App Store since a couple of years. Over the last month or so, we are receiving many user reports complaining about app freezing and behaving very bad generally. The common denominator for all of these users (~10) is that they are using iPad Pro M4, 13 inch, and they are on at least iPadOS 26.2 - some have updated to 26.2.1, 26.3 etc but the problems remain. Some of the users say that they were using our app normally, until the release of 26.2, or perhaps 26.2.1, from when the problems seem to have started. Some report the problems that go away when they "use another WiFi", or when they hold the device in portrait mode (it seems that many complaints seem to suggest that the problem is in when holding the device in landscape). Other say the app works fine if they start it without network enabled, and after enabling network, continue in the app. While we currently do not have an iPad Pro M4 13 inch to test with, we haven't been able to reproduce the problem on any other device. We haven't heard of any similar problems from users of other devices. While we have no idea what is causing these problems, my feeling is that there might be a possibility that there is some kind of problem with iPad Pro M4 and the recent iPadOS versions. Just reaching out to see if anyone else have seen anything similar.

Contacts: remove member from group not working on macOS
Hi, In my app, I have an option to remove a contact from a contact group (using the Contacts framework), and it's been working fine till recently users of the macOS version reported that it's not working. I have been using the CNSaveRequest removeMember(contact, from: group) API. The same API works fine on iOS. I'm not sure when it started but it seems to be affecting macOS14.6 as well as 15.1. I was able to reproduce it in a small test project as well, and have the same experience (the API works on iOS but not on macOS), so it definitely seems like a problem with the framework. Can someone confirm this, and/or suggest a workaround? Here's the code I run to test it out ...a simple SwiftUI view that has 4 buttons: Create contact and group Add contact to group Remove contact from group (optional) cleanup by deleting contact and group It's the 3rd step that seems to fail on macOS, but works fine on iOS. Screen Time API: ApplicationToken Mismatch / Randomization in Extensions
Description: I am developing a digital well-being application using the Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity). I am encountering a critical issue where the ApplicationToken provided by the system to my app extensions suddenly changes, causing a mismatch with the tokens originally stored by the main application. The Problem: When a user selects applications via FamilyActivityPicker, we persist the FamilyActivitySelection (and the underlying ApplicationToken objects) in a shared App Group container. However, we are seeing frequent cases where the token passed into: ShieldConfigurationDataSource.configuration(shielding:in:) ShieldActionDelegate.handle(action:for:completionHandler:) ...does not match (using ==) any of the tokens previously selected and stored. Confirmation of Brazil DECA compliance API
While the recent news says "Developers who are distributing apps in Brazil can use the updated Declared Age Range API to obtain a user’s age category.", the guidance in the API did not mention Brazil. Can we confirm that Should all iOS developers follow that guidance for Brazil compliance? Will IsEligibleForAgeFeatures return true for in scope users in Brazil? (We don't have any explicit confirmation on this, and we cannot test if this is the case today in sandbox)

Live Caller ID Lookup: does iOS call /queries even when the number is in Contacts?
Hi! We’ve had Live Caller ID Lookup in production for a while. We’re seeing backend RPS on our /queries endpoint much higher than our expected incoming call volume. While testing with Console.app during an incoming call, it looks like iOS may still hit our service even when the caller number is already in the user’s Contacts - but I’m not 100% sure from logs alone. Can you confirm: Does iOS invoke Live Caller ID Lookup (i.e. call /queries) for every incoming call, including calls from saved Contacts? If yes, is this simply expected framework behavior? Thanks!

App Clips Causing CPSErrorDomain error 2 on Non App Clip URLs
Unexpected behavior encountered when scanning NFC tags. Imagine a link shortener web service where users can create lots of different URLs that are hosted on the same domain eg, https://short.com/unique-path The service has optional App Clip capability -- users can select any of their links and have the service create an App Clip for the selected link(s). Users can encode their URLs into NFC tags and have their customers scan NFC tags. Let's take just two URLs for example: https://short.com/foo https://short.com/bar The /foo link does have an App Clip associated with it while /bar does not have it. Each link has been encoded into appropriate NFC tag. Expected behavior when scanning from an iPhone: /foo -- shows an App Clip popup. /bar -- shows a "Open in Safari" default notification. What's actually happening /foo -- opens App Clip poput with correct metadata (title, subtitle, image) which is totally expected behavior. /bar (the one that doesn't have app clip associated with it) -- opens an App-Clip-like popup with the following error: CPSErrorDomainError 2 (see attachment below) So for some reason when someone scans an NFC tag with a URL that is not an App Clip and never has been -- it always shows that error regardless whether the URL exists or does not exist. I've tried few different/random URLs (which don't have an App Clip associated with it) and all of them show the same error. Additional details: All links use the same domain and URL format: domain.com/path where path is a short string of random a-Z characters. All App Clips are created at the same iOS app. AASA is good: Cache and Debug -- both green. This issue has happened to lots of users on lots of different iPhones and iOS'. Since the issue's been happening to lots of different users on different iPhone(s)/iOS' no sysdiagnose is attached. Actually it works the same on every device/iOS we've tried. Before submitting the issue, I've found few other developers reporting the same issue. Can a DeviceActivityReport extension pass the user’s daily Screen Time total back to the main app
Hi, I’m building an iOS self accountability app using FamilyControls and DeviceActivity. I can show the user’s real Screen Time correctly inside a DeviceActivityReport extension on a real device, but I want to use that same daily total inside the main app for today’s log and leaderboard. What I’m stuck on is getting that value back into the app. I tried App Groups, shared UserDefaults, a shared file in the app group container, and CFPreferences, but the report still only works as a display and the main app never receives the total. Is there any Apple supported way to use the daily Screen Time total from a DeviceActivityReport extension inside the containing app, or is this intentionally display only? Thanks.

Questions about DeclaredAgeRange's isEligibleForAgeFeatures instance variable
Our team is in the process of updating our apps to comply with Texas's new state law. In order to minimize user confusion and provide the most ideal flow to access the app as possible, we have a few questions we would like answered. Summary of questions: Is isEligibleForAgeFeatures intended to be accurate and accessible before the user has accepted the Age Range permissions prompt? As other US states and/or other countries adopt a similar law going forward, will this instance variable cover those locations? Will the runtime crashes on isEligibleForAgeFeatures and other symbols in the DeclaredAgeRange framework be addressed in a future RC or in the official release? Details and Investigations: With regards to isEligibleForAgeFeatures, our team has noticed that this value is always false before the age range prompt has been accepted. This has been tested on the XCode RC 26.2 (17C48). Assuming the request needs to be accepted first, isEligibleForAgeFeatures does not get updated immediately when the user chooses to share their age range (updated to true, when our sandbox test account is a Texas resident). Only upon subsequent relaunches of the app does this return a value that reflects the sandbox user's location. Is isEligibleForAgeFeatures intended to be accurate and accessible before the user has accepted the Age Range permissions prompt? This leads to our follow-up question to clarify whether isEligibleForAgeFeatures explicitly correlates to a user in an affected legal jurisdiction–if future US states and/or other countries adopt a similar law going forward, will this instance variable cover those locations? Can we also get confirmation about whether the runtime crash on isEligibleForAgeFeatures and other symbols in the DeclaredAgeRange framework will be addressed in a future RC or in the official release? Age verification again: What does "applicable region" mean wrt isEligibleForAgeFeatures
The documentation for isEligibleForAgeFeatures states: Use this property to determine whether a person using your app is in an applicable region that requires additional age-related obligations for when you distribute apps on the App Store. But what does "region" mean? Is this going to return true if the user has downloaded the app from the US App Store? Or will it go further and geolocate the user and identify them as being within a particular relevant state within the US?

Is `isEligibleForAgeFeatures` gonna cover the future cities/countries for us?
Does our app need to check the location or can we fully reply on this API to decide whether we wanna comply for the law of places that requires age range information? Looks like it's only covering Texas now..? would it add other places by apple..? And also this API is really hard to test a user in other places, Iike I don't know a user in Brazil gonna return true for false now, but the law in Brazil also requires the age information.

Does Live Caller ID Lookup entirely replace Call SIP content, or are they ever combined?
If an iPhone receives an incoming call with some partial sip content (for example it contains a name but not an image, or vice versa) and if there is an app enabled for Live Caller ID Lookup, and the result of that lookup supplies data not in the sip (i.e. the lookup returns an image, but not a name, or vice versa). Then could the OS combine data from both sources, or is whatever is returned from the LCIDL what gets displayed in the call screen. I suppose that is the case but just want to enquire to make sure. Thank you

Family Controls Works in Xcode Physical Device, But does not work in Testflight
I have gotten all necessary entitlements for all my extensions, but screen time still does not work in Testflight. our app blocks social apps for a particular period of time.. This feature works in my Xcode physical device but fails in testflight

Automatic Downloads for In-App Content

Apple-hosted managed asset pack not found on macOS
Hi all, I have set up a trivial test project to try Apple-hosted background assets following the instructions in the three articles at https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/backgroundassets. When I run the local mock server with xcrun ba-serve and set the URL override in Settings as described in the "Testing asset packs locally" article, I am able to download a test pack on my iOS devices. On the Mac that I use to run the mock server, however, the same call to AssetPackManager.shared.assetPack(withID: "TestAssetPack") that works on iOS always reports The asset pack with the ID “TestAssetPack” couldn’t be looked up: No asset pack with the ID “TestAssetPack” was found. even when not running the mock server, which led me to believe that it may not be hitting it at all. In fact, the macOS app will download asset packs uploaded to App Store Connect even when running the local server and setting the xcrun ba-serve url-override to the exact same string as in Settings on iOS. My initial suspicion was that something is wrong with the URL override, so I have tried all combinations of the Mac's hostname, IP address or "localhost" (with the corresponding SSL certificates) with and without port 443, always prefixing with "https://" for the url-override. All the same. Does anyone have an idea what may be the issue here? My asset pack has the following manifest: { "assetPackID": "TestAssetPack", "downloadPolicy": { "onDemand": {} }, "fileSelectors": [ { "file": "TestAsset.txt" } ], "platforms": [ "iOS", "macOS" ] } I am running v26.1 for macOS, iOS & Xcode. Edit: Just to be clear, my assumption here is that the URL overrides (in Settings on iOS or via ba-serve on macOS) is what should cause the app to hit the mock server. Is that correct or am I missing something?

Open parent app from ShieldAction extension in iOS

Problems with iPad Pro M4 13 inch
We have an iOS/iPadOS (mixed use of UIKit/SwiftUI) app on the App Store since a couple of years. Over the last month or so, we are receiving many user reports complaining about app freezing and behaving very bad generally. The common denominator for all of these users (~10) is that they are using iPad Pro M4, 13 inch, and they are on at least iPadOS 26.2 - some have updated to 26.2.1, 26.3 etc but the problems remain. Some of the users say that they were using our app normally, until the release of 26.2, or perhaps 26.2.1, from when the problems seem to have started. Some report the problems that go away when they "use another WiFi", or when they hold the device in portrait mode (it seems that many complaints seem to suggest that the problem is in when holding the device in landscape). Other say the app works fine if they start it without network enabled, and after enabling network, continue in the app. While we currently do not have an iPad Pro M4 13 inch to test with, we haven't been able to reproduce the problem on any other device. We haven't heard of any similar problems from users of other devices. While we have no idea what is causing these problems, my feeling is that there might be a possibility that there is some kind of problem with iPad Pro M4 and the recent iPadOS versions. Just reaching out to see if anyone else have seen anything similar.

Contacts: remove member from group not working on macOS
Hi, In my app, I have an option to remove a contact from a contact group (using the Contacts framework), and it's been working fine till recently users of the macOS version reported that it's not working. I have been using the CNSaveRequest removeMember(contact, from: group) API. The same API works fine on iOS. I'm not sure when it started but it seems to be affecting macOS14.6 as well as 15.1. I was able to reproduce it in a small test project as well, and have the same experience (the API works on iOS but not on macOS), so it definitely seems like a problem with the framework. Can someone confirm this, and/or suggest a workaround? Here's the code I run to test it out ...a simple SwiftUI view that has 4 buttons: Create contact and group Add contact to group Remove contact from group (optional) cleanup by deleting contact and group It's the 3rd step that seems to fail on macOS, but works fine on iOS. API usage keeps increasing even after revoking a WeatherKit key
We are operating an application that uses WeatherKit. Despite revoking a specific WeatherKit key on the Apple Developer website, the number of API calls associated with that key continues to increase. We are looking for a way to completely disable this particular key. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Screen Time API: ApplicationToken Mismatch / Randomization in Extensions
Description: I am developing a digital well-being application using the Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity). I am encountering a critical issue where the ApplicationToken provided by the system to my app extensions suddenly changes, causing a mismatch with the tokens originally stored by the main application. The Problem: When a user selects applications via FamilyActivityPicker, we persist the FamilyActivitySelection (and the underlying ApplicationToken objects) in a shared App Group container. However, we are seeing frequent cases where the token passed into: ShieldConfigurationDataSource.configuration(shielding:in:) ShieldActionDelegate.handle(action:for:completionHandler:) ...does not match (using ==) any of the tokens previously selected and stored. Confirmation of Brazil DECA compliance API
While the recent news says "Developers who are distributing apps in Brazil can use the updated Declared Age Range API to obtain a user’s age category.", the guidance in the API did not mention Brazil. Can we confirm that Should all iOS developers follow that guidance for Brazil compliance? Will IsEligibleForAgeFeatures return true for in scope users in Brazil? (We don't have any explicit confirmation on this, and we cannot test if this is the case today in sandbox)

Live Caller ID Lookup: does iOS call /queries even when the number is in Contacts?
Hi! We’ve had Live Caller ID Lookup in production for a while. We’re seeing backend RPS on our /queries endpoint much higher than our expected incoming call volume. While testing with Console.app during an incoming call, it looks like iOS may still hit our service even when the caller number is already in the user’s Contacts - but I’m not 100% sure from logs alone. Can you confirm: Does iOS invoke Live Caller ID Lookup (i.e. call /queries) for every incoming call, including calls from saved Contacts? If yes, is this simply expected framework behavior? Thanks!

App Clips Causing CPSErrorDomain error 2 on Non App Clip URLs
Unexpected behavior encountered when scanning NFC tags. Imagine a link shortener web service where users can create lots of different URLs that are hosted on the same domain eg, https://short.com/unique-path The service has optional App Clip capability -- users can select any of their links and have the service create an App Clip for the selected link(s). Users can encode their URLs into NFC tags and have their customers scan NFC tags. Let's take just two URLs for example: https://short.com/foo https://short.com/bar The /foo link does have an App Clip associated with it while /bar does not have it. Each link has been encoded into appropriate NFC tag. Expected behavior when scanning from an iPhone: /foo -- shows an App Clip popup. /bar -- shows a "Open in Safari" default notification. What's actually happening /foo -- opens App Clip poput with correct metadata (title, subtitle, image) which is totally expected behavior. /bar (the one that doesn't have app clip associated with it) -- opens an App-Clip-like popup with the following error: CPSErrorDomainError 2 (see attachment below) So for some reason when someone scans an NFC tag with a URL that is not an App Clip and never has been -- it always shows that error regardless whether the URL exists or does not exist. I've tried few different/random URLs (which don't have an App Clip associated with it) and all of them show the same error. Additional details: All links use the same domain and URL format: domain.com/path where path is a short string of random a-Z characters. All App Clips are created at the same iOS app. AASA is good: Cache and Debug -- both green. This issue has happened to lots of users on lots of different iPhones and iOS'. Since the issue's been happening to lots of different users on different iPhone(s)/iOS' no sysdiagnose is attached. Actually it works the same on every device/iOS we've tried. Before submitting the issue, I've found few other developers reporting the same issue. Can a DeviceActivityReport extension pass the user’s daily Screen Time total back to the main app
Hi, I’m building an iOS self accountability app using FamilyControls and DeviceActivity. I can show the user’s real Screen Time correctly inside a DeviceActivityReport extension on a real device, but I want to use that same daily total inside the main app for today’s log and leaderboard. What I’m stuck on is getting that value back into the app. I tried App Groups, shared UserDefaults, a shared file in the app group container, and CFPreferences, but the report still only works as a display and the main app never receives the total. Is there any Apple supported way to use the daily Screen Time total from a DeviceActivityReport extension inside the containing app, or is this intentionally display only? Thanks.

Questions about DeclaredAgeRange's isEligibleForAgeFeatures instance variable
Our team is in the process of updating our apps to comply with Texas's new state law. In order to minimize user confusion and provide the most ideal flow to access the app as possible, we have a few questions we would like answered. Summary of questions: Is isEligibleForAgeFeatures intended to be accurate and accessible before the user has accepted the Age Range permissions prompt? As other US states and/or other countries adopt a similar law going forward, will this instance variable cover those locations? Will the runtime crashes on isEligibleForAgeFeatures and other symbols in the DeclaredAgeRange framework be addressed in a future RC or in the official release? Details and Investigations: With regards to isEligibleForAgeFeatures, our team has noticed that this value is always false before the age range prompt has been accepted. This has been tested on the XCode RC 26.2 (17C48). Assuming the request needs to be accepted first, isEligibleForAgeFeatures does not get updated immediately when the user chooses to share their age range (updated to true, when our sandbox test account is a Texas resident). Only upon subsequent relaunches of the app does this return a value that reflects the sandbox user's location. Is isEligibleForAgeFeatures intended to be accurate and accessible before the user has accepted the Age Range permissions prompt? This leads to our follow-up question to clarify whether isEligibleForAgeFeatures explicitly correlates to a user in an affected legal jurisdiction–if future US states and/or other countries adopt a similar law going forward, will this instance variable cover those locations? Can we also get confirmation about whether the runtime crash on isEligibleForAgeFeatures and other symbols in the DeclaredAgeRange framework will be addressed in a future RC or in the official release? Age verification again: What does "applicable region" mean wrt isEligibleForAgeFeatures
The documentation for isEligibleForAgeFeatures states: Use this property to determine whether a person using your app is in an applicable region that requires additional age-related obligations for when you distribute apps on the App Store. But what does "region" mean? Is this going to return true if the user has downloaded the app from the US App Store? Or will it go further and geolocate the user and identify them as being within a particular relevant state within the US?

Is `isEligibleForAgeFeatures` gonna cover the future cities/countries for us?
Does our app need to check the location or can we fully reply on this API to decide whether we wanna comply for the law of places that requires age range information? Looks like it's only covering Texas now..? would it add other places by apple..? And also this API is really hard to test a user in other places, Iike I don't know a user in Brazil gonna return true for false now, but the law in Brazil also requires the age information.

Does Live Caller ID Lookup entirely replace Call SIP content, or are they ever combined?
If an iPhone receives an incoming call with some partial sip content (for example it contains a name but not an image, or vice versa) and if there is an app enabled for Live Caller ID Lookup, and the result of that lookup supplies data not in the sip (i.e. the lookup returns an image, but not a name, or vice versa). Then could the OS combine data from both sources, or is whatever is returned from the LCIDL what gets displayed in the call screen. I suppose that is the case but just want to enquire to make sure. Thank you
