How to call a Swift file directly from Angular using Capacitor?
Hi everyone, I’m working on a Capacitor app built with Angular, and I’m trying to call a Swift class directly from the root of the iOS project (next to AppDelegate.swift) without using a full Capacitor plugin structure. The Swift file is called RtspVlcPlugin.swift and looks like this: import Capacitor @objc(RtspVlcPlugin) public class RtspVlcPlugin: CAPPlugin { @objc func iniciar(_ call: CAPPluginCall) { call.resolve() } } In AppDelegate.swift I register it like this: if let bridge = self.window?.rootViewController as? CAPBridgeViewController { bridge.bridge?.registerPluginInstance(RtspVlcPlugin()) print("✅ RtspVlcPlugin registered.") } The registration message prints correctly in Xcode logs. But from Angular, when I try to call it like this: import { registerPlugin } from '@capacitor/core'; const RtspVlcPlugin: any = registerPlugin('RtspVlcPlugin'); RtspVlcPlugin.iniciar({ ... }); I get this error: {"code":"UNIMPLEMENTED"} So, even though the plugin is registered manually, it’s not exposing any methods to the Angular/Capacitor runtime. My question is: What is the correct way to access a manually created Swift class (in the root of the iOS project) from Angular via Capacitor? Thanks in advance!

App Icon Dimension
I am trying to make an app icon 20 x 20 pixel dimension. I cannot get the icon to be sized this way. It gets blurry. I have used adobe express + illustrator. I have not been able to size it. It is a 400 x 400 dimension png. I want the proportion to be 20 x 20 without losing the clarity.

Use of non-public or deprecated APIs
Hello, "This issue is blocking App store approval" I have tried pushing my application to Appstore. However it has been rejected on the following ground: _"As we discussed, the app uses or references the following non-public or deprecated APIs: Frameworks/CommonLibrary.framework/CommonLibrary Symbols: • _SecCertificateIsValid The use of non-public or deprecated APIs is not permitted, as they can lead to a poor user experience should these APIs change and are otherwise not supported on Apple platforms."_ I have scanned the app using "strings" tool & "otool -ov" tool. But they have come out clean. No Non-public or deprecated APIs detected. Please advise which tool can be used to scan the CL to locate where the deprecated API or non-public API lies and also how to rectify the same. Thanks Saikat Bakshi.

Issue while creating ipa in release mode
I have an MAUI based application build and ready for the distribution. The application is working perfectly in the debug environment on the simulator. So the app logic is working correctly as expected without any errors. But when a release build is created the application crashes on the simulator and physical device. I'm developing the application using .Net 10 framework with target device iOS 26. The Supported OS Platform is set to 15.0 in csproj file. Also have the entitlements. plist file set in the csproj. The IDe used is Visual Studio Code for Mac (MAC OS). The application uses MSAL for the login / authentication purpose (Microsoft.Identity.Client) and SQLite Database (Sqlite-net-pcl) Message: Kindly guide me to build the application correctly in release version and get the ipa file ready for the in house distribution that could be deployed correctly on the physical device with iOS 18 / 26.

Downgrade Developer Test-Device to iOS 18.7.X
Hi, I accidentally upgraded my test device (iPhone 13 mini) to iOS 26. I really need to downgrade it to 18.7.X again. It seems this isn't possible since Apple doesn't sign the .ipsw anymore. Is there really no way for a paying developer to downgrade her test devices? (Please don't tell me to use the support forums, this is a concerning a developer test device)

Is there a way for two users to make development builds on separate accounts for one app?
Tech stack: React Native + Expo. We are using two solo developer accounts (not a business or team account). Context: Friend and I set out to make an app together. Friend created app and set it up on Apple. We worked on it together. He controlled devops (builds and submission). Friend no longer can commit to development. Wants to transfer to me. I create apple developer account. After app transfer, my phone (deviceid) underwent a 14 day soft ban preventing builds. That has since been lifted. There seems to be something in place preventing me from making dev builds on the original dev bundleid. It says it's still owned by him despite the app transfer. Bottom line: what needs to happen so I can make dev builds? Nice to have: we can both make dev builds under the same bundleid

Can I get notified when my watchOS app is terminated by the system (e.g. watchdog)?
Hi all, I’m developing a watchOS app and have seen cases where the app is terminated by the system — for example, due to CPU usage limits being exceeded (watchdog termination). Here’s a portion of one of the crash reports: Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGKILL) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000 Termination Reason: CAROUSEL 2343432205 <RBSTerminateContext| domain:10 code:0x8BADF00D explanation:[app<app_name>:898] Failed to terminate gracefully after 5.0s ProcessVisibility: Foreground ProcessState: Running WatchdogEvent: process-exit WatchdogVisibility: Foreground WatchdogCPUStatistics: ( "Elapsed total CPU time (seconds): 11.280 (user 9.800, system 1.480), 100% CPU", "Elapsed application CPU time (seconds): 5.162, 46% CPU" ) reportType:CrashLog maxTerminationResistance:Interactive> My questions: 1.) Is there any way to get notified (via Crashlytics, Xcode Organizer, or any other reporting mechanism) when this type of system-level termination happens — similar to how we’re notified of crashes? 2.)Is there any way for a watchOS app to receive runtime warnings from the system when it’s about to exceed CPU or memory limits — similar to UIApplication.didReceiveMemoryWarningNotification on iOS? Thanks in advance!

Running tests on multiple simulators and local mock servers
Hello, I have a question about running tests on multiple simulators. Currently, my company has a WDIO+Appium test suite with XCUITEST driver that runs on a single simulator through a mockttp proxy (we are intercepting and mocking some of the responses from our APIs and pass through the rest). In order to route the traffic we are currently using 'networksetup -setsecurewebproxy '. Everything works as expected. With growing number of tests we'd like to scale number of simulators on a single host to 3-5. We have a working setup but the problem are system-wide proxy settings routing traffic from multiple simulators, which we can't distinguish by UDID or any other means, we know of. We can spin multiple mock servers on the same machine but we are struggling to find the way to route the traffic on a simulator basis. In the end, both options are viable: 1 mock server running for multiple simulators N number of mock servers for N number of simulators Has anyone had the same/similar problem? How to approach this? We are currently running on Sequoia OSX and platform version 18.6. Thanks!

I made a browser plugin to do something Apple should've done themselves.
This browser extension is a doc reading enhancer for the Apple Developer website. It supports i18n translation, hover link previews, and bilingual display. Currently, it supports four languages: ja-JP, ko-KR, zh-CN, and zh-TW. It works with Swift/SwiftUI/Foundation modules now, and it's expected to support Swift Test, Swift Charts, UIKit, Swift Playground, and XCode modules by the end of this month. For more info, check out: https://appledocs.dev. You can also visit https://appledocs.dev/progress to see translation progress and vote. Note: It's only works on Chrome、Edge(In review)、Firefox(In review) Screenshot:

Where is the `Metal-cpp-extensions` download website?
Hi, I really appreciate the C++ binding provided. I got the metal-cpp source code from the website at Getting Started. However, I could not find the same for metal-cpp-extensions. Is it not available or do we have to always extract it from the sample code? Thanks.
