product not found !
Hi all, I’m testing Subscription in my Flutter app on a real iOS device (iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18) via TestFlight. I’ve set everything up as required, but I still get this error: flutter: Found products: [] If everything works perfectly when StoreKit configuration is used in Xcode, but not via TestFlight. All my Subscriptions are approved with the same ID.

SwiftData "Auto Inserts" array into ModelContext
Definitely one of the stranger quirks of SwiftData I've come across. I have a ScriptView that shows Line entities related to a Production, and a TextEnterScriptView that’s presented in a sheet to input text. I’m noticing that every time I type in the TextEditor within TextEnterScriptView, a new Line shows up in ScriptView — even though I haven’t explicitly inserted it into the modelContext. I'm quite confused because even though I’m only assigning a new Line to a local @State array in TextEnterScriptView, every keystroke in the TextEditor causes a duplicate Line to appear in ScriptView. In other words, Why is SwiftData creating new Line entities every time I type in the TextEditor, even though I’m only assigning to a local @State array and not explicitly inserting them into the modelContext? Here is my minimal reproducible example: import SwiftData import SwiftUI @main struct testApp: App { var body: some Scene { WindowGroup { ContentView() .modelContainer(for: Line.self, isAutosaveEnabled: false) } } } struct ContentView: View { @Environment(\.modelContext) var modelContext @Query(sort: \Production.title) var productions: [Production] var body: some View { NavigationStack { List(productions) { production in NavigationLink(value: production) { Text(production.title) } } .navigationDestination(for: Production.self) { production in ScriptView(production: production) } .toolbar { Button("Add", systemImage: "plus") { let production = Production(title: "Test \(productions.count + 1)") modelContext.insert(production) do { try modelContext.save() } catch { print(error) } } } .navigationTitle("Productions") } } } struct ScriptView: View { @Query private var lines: [Line] let production: Production @State private var isShowingSheet: Bool = false var body: some View { List { ForEach(lines) { line in Text(line.content) } } .toolbar { Button("Show Sheet") { isShowingSheet.toggle() } } .sheet(isPresented: $isShowingSheet) { TextEnterScriptView(production: production) } } } struct TextEnterScriptView: View { @Environment(\.dismiss) var dismiss @State private var text = "" @State private var lines: [Line] = [] let production: Production var body: some View { NavigationStack { TextEditor(text: $text) .onChange(of: text, initial: false) { lines = [Line(content: "test line", production: production)] } .toolbar { Button("Done") { dismiss() } } } } } @Model class Production { @Attribute(.unique) var title: String @Relationship(deleteRule: .cascade, inverse: \Line.production) var lines: [Line] = [] init(title: String) { self.title = title } } @Model class Line { var content: String var production: Production? init(content: String, production: Production?) { self.content = content self.production = production } }

Transaction.currentEntitlements failing every time
I am shown as being subscribed to our service in the Subscriptions list in settings yet when going to the Storekit2 page in my app it shows me as NOT being subscribed and is unresponsive. I select Restore Subscription, that grays briefly, asks for a password, then returns to blue and nothing else happens. Bouncing back and forth between monthly and yearly likewise gives no response. The Transaction.currentEntitlements seems to be empty so it thinks the user is not subscribed. I have unsubscribed, and resubscribed via the Settings page to no avail.

Can I ask user to share his/her email id while doing
We sell magazines through a third party app platform called Pocketmags and our website. The magazines have Print, Digital and Combo options available for purchase. Also, this third party app provides the platform to read the digital version of the magazines. Once a user buys a subscription on the website, he/she receives the email with the login information on PocketMags, where he registers his login details and can start reading his subscription. With us, the customer shares his billing/shipping address along with their email id while they make payment. Now we have our own app where through which we want to sell these magazines and have to integrate In-App purchase for selling these digital subscriptions. How do we send the 3rd party subscription access details on email to the user if they do in app purchase?

Issue Integrating Apple Pay JS – `merchantSession` Blocke
Hello Apple Devs, We’re currently trying to integrate Apple Pay on the web using Apple Pay JS. We've followed the official documentation closely, but we're running into a blocker during the merchantSession validation phase. We successfully retrieved a merchantSession, which looks like this: json { "displayName": "Our Name", "domainName": "https://pay.ourdomain.co", "epochTimestamp": , "expiresAt": ****************, "merchantIdentifier": "", "merchantSessionIdentifier": ", "nonce": "", "operationalAnalyticsIdentifier": our name "t:", "pspId": "", "retries": 0, "signature": "*****************..." } Issue: Shortly after initiating the session, we receive a cancel event with the following info: ApplePayCancelEvent { type: "cancel", sessionError: { code: "unknown", info: {} } } We're unsure what causes the cancellation. There are no clear error messages or hints in the logs to identify what went wrong. What We’ve Checked: The merchantSession is returned successfully from our backend. The domainName matches our frontend domain (https://pay.durdomain.co). The session hasn’t expired when tested. We're using Apple Pay JS APIs as described in the documentation. Help Needed: What can trigger an ApplePayCancelEvent with an "unknown" error code? Any insight or guidance would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance!

SwiftData data crashes with @Relationship
I've noticed that SwiftData's @Relationship seems to potentially cause application crashes. The crash error is shown in the image. Since this crash appears to be random and I cannot reproduce it under specific circumstances, I can only temporarily highlight that this issue seems to exist. @Model final class TrainInfo { @Relationship(deleteRule: .cascade, inverse: \StopStation.trainInfo) var stations: [StopStation]? } @Model final class StopStation { @Relationship var trainInfo: TrainInfo? } /// some View var origin: StopStationDisplayable? { if let train = train as? TrainInfo { return train.stations?.first(where: { $0.isOrigin }) ?? train.stations?.first(where: { $0.isStarting }) } return nil } // Some other function or property func someFunction() { if let origin, let destination { // Function implementation } }

Alternate App Icon Change Does Not Reflect in Notification Center on iOS 18.1+
Version: iOS 18.1 and later (works as expected on iOS 18.0 and earlier) Area: SpringBoard / Notification Center / App Icon Rendering Description: When changing the app's alternate icon using UIApplication.setAlternateIconName(_:completionHandler:), the icon is updated correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. However, in Notification Center, the old app icon is still shown for notifications, even after the change has completed. This issue only occurs on iOS 18.1 and later. In iOS 18.0 and earlier, Notification Center correctly reflects the updated icon. - Steps to reproduce: Create an iOS app with alternate app icons configured in the Info.plist. Use UIApplication.shared.setAlternateIconName("IconName") to change the icon at runtime. Send a notification. Pull down Notification Center and observe the icon shown beside the notification. - Expected Behavior: Notification Center should reflect the updated (alternate) app icon immediately after the change. - Actual Behavior: Notification Center continues to display the old (primary) app icon. The new icon appears correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. Restarting the device does cause Notification Center to update and reflect the correct icon, which suggests a cache or refresh issue in SpringBoard or Notification Center. - Notes: Issue introduced in iOS 18.1; not present in 18.0. Reproduces on both physical devices and simulators. Occurs with both scheduled local notifications and remote notifications. Restarting the device updates the Notification Center icon, but this is not a viable user-facing workaround.

[App Store Server Notifications] ONE_TIME_CHARGE production release...
Dear Apple! During WWDC24 you announced that ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification is available on the sandbox environment and will be available "it will be available in production later this year" - it's March 2025 and there is still no production release of this feature. Could you share some timeline and plans for when we can expect that feature deployed to production? Thanks in advance!

SwiftData 100% crash when fetching history with codable (test included!)
SwiftData crashes 100% when fetching history of a model that contains an optional codable property that's updated: SwiftData/Schema.swift:389: Fatal error: Failed to materialize a keypath for someCodableID.someID from CrashModel. It is possible that this path traverses a type that does not work with append(), please file a bug report with a test. Would really appreciate some help or even a workaround. Code: import Foundation import SwiftData import Testing struct VaultsSwiftDataKnownIssuesTests { @Test func testCodableCrashInHistoryFetch() async throws { let container = try ModelContainer( for: CrashModel.self, configurations: .init( isStoredInMemoryOnly: true ) ) let context = ModelContext(container) try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) // 1: insert a new value and save let model = CrashModel() model.someCodableID = SomeCodableID(someID: "testid1") context.insert(model) try context.save() // 2: check history it's fine. try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) // 3: update the inserted value before then save model.someCodableID = SomeCodableID(someID: "testid2") try context.save() // The next check will always crash on fetchHistory with this error: /* SwiftData/Schema.swift:389: Fatal error: Failed to materialize a keypath for someCodableID.someID from CrashModel. It is possible that this path traverses a type that does not work with append(), please file a bug report with a test. */ try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) } } @Model final class CrashModel { // optional codable crashes. var someCodableID: SomeCodableID? // these actually work: //var someCodableID: SomeCodableID //var someCodableID: [SomeCodableID] init() {} } public struct SomeCodableID: Codable { public let someID: String } final class SimpleHistoryChecker { static func hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: ModelContext) throws { let descriptor = HistoryDescriptor<DefaultHistoryTransaction>() let history = try context.fetchHistory(descriptor) guard let last = history.last else { return } print(last) } }

Unable to use altitude for our use case (NYC MTA)
We’re building a new subway/bus app at the MTA. Our system includes roughly 300 underground stations, around 150 elevated stations (i.e., above street level), and about 5 at-grade stations (i.e., at street level). We serve roughly 5 million riders a day. We’re diving deep into Core Location on iOS and have found that the altitude values returned from two fields we’re testing aren’t accurate enough for our use case: CLLocation.altitude CMAbsoluteAltitudeData.altitude We need to reliably distinguish whether a user is: At street level On an elevated platform (see attached picture) On any platform in an underground station — most have a single platform level, but some, like 59 St (see attached), have multiple platforms at different elevations. These levels typically differ by at least 15 feet, which should in theory be well within the precision range of a properly calibrated barometric pressure sensor. However, the absolute altitude values we’re seeing from these APIs are often inaccurate and inconsistent — not only compared to ground truth, but also across devices. For example, holding two phones side-by-side frequently yields altitude readings that differ by more than 15 feet. That level of variation makes the data unreliable for our needs. Please see the below photos for more context. URLs.md

CoreAudio server plugin: updating kAudioStreamPropertyAvailablePhysicalFormats
Hi, our CoreAudio server plugin supports different clock sources. A switch might result in a change of the selectable sample rates (and other settings). On a clock source switch the plugin reconfigures the set of available kAudioStreamPropertyAvailablePhysicalFormats and announces the change via AudioServerPlugInHostInterface::PropertiesChanged(). However at least the Audio MIDI Setup seems to ignore to update it's UI. The changes are first reflected after selecting another device and re-selecting the device of interest. (Latest macOS, M4 macMini) Is this a bug? Or is our CoreAudio server plugin required to indicate the change in the list of available audio formats differently? Thanks!

How to register ContactProviderDomain
Hi there, we are implementing the new ContactProviderExtension introduced in iOS 18 and we are able to activate the extension, add data and everything. But we want to add domains to seperate contacts and currently we are getting an error "ContactProvider.ContactProviderError.domainNotRegistered". That makes sense because in the API docu we are not finding a way to register our domains. We are using ContactProviderDomain to create domains but we are not able to find any function to register. Could you please give a hint? Thank you

sandbox account isn't logging in on purchase window
I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. I am using xcode's phone simulator and I have setup my sandbox account on appstoreconnect under users and access/sandbox/test accounts then in my app on the simulator when I tap the subscribe button to purchase my product the a window pops up for in app purchases and I get a login prompt for my sandbox credentials, but no matter how many times I enter them after tapping ok all I get is a blank login prompt. also not this a brand new sandbox account and I've only changed the password 3 times, that seems to be important because its inconsistent with some of the errors I am getting on the error log here is error log. Crashes with Rosetta after Sonoma update (crash reports).
Hello. We have an app and a custom dylib hat seems to be crashing only when Rosetta is involved. I believe it's the custom DYLIB that crashes. Here are some observations. The issue happens on the older 2022 built DYLIB (Intel only) And the newer DYLIB built (Universal) The universal DYLIB works fine natively on both Intel and M1 machines. It's only when we access it through an Intel only .app and it's running with Rosetta that we see the crash. The older Intel only .DYLIB worked perfectly with the same testing .app in versions before Sonoma, now they crash with the same .app, same build. Crash reports have been all over the place, they vary but repeat themselves. It has been a little confusing as to how to approach this issue and would appreciate any input that can help us understand what is going wrong and how to move forward. Device Activity Report Not showing any information
All After about 20 hours straight of working on this and having scrapped it twice I am realizing I should have asked everyone here for help. I am just trying to get device activity report extension to work inside an existing app. I have been heavily using family controls, managedsettings and deviceactivity and decided it would be nice to output some of the app usage so the User (parent) can see their children's app usage. I installed the target via xcode, confirmed group names match, and think I have it embedded correctly but when I run the app and call the view within the extension to show minutes used by any apps it just shows no time has been used. In addition, when I put print statements into the extension they do not show up in console. I have confirmed the main app target->Build phases->Link binary with Libraries has: ManagedSettings.framework FamilyControls.Framework DeviceActivity.framework I have confirmed in xcode that the main app target->Build phases -> Embed Foundation Extensions has: ShieldConfiguration.appex ShieldActionExtension.appex DeviceActivityMonitor.appex I have confirmed in xcode that the main app target->Build phases-> Embed ExtensionKit Extensions has: UsageReportExtension.appex I have used the apps I am trying to show data for extensively in the last 36 hours. Matter device data pipeline
I'm device manufacturer and in future planning to get my device matter certified. If I want my device data for analytics purpose into my cloud than what is the best way possible. My research says that the most latest approach suggested by apple is, developing a custom mobile app using device homekit sdk and subscribe to device state and send it to my cloud. If I go that route, will it work even though the device was onboarded via homekit app and homekit hub device is also there. I want to make sure that both path will be active, device to hub to home app and device to custom app to my cloud, and both on matter ecosystem. The homekit sdk and matter support mentioned here https://aninterestingwebsite.com/apple-home/matter, are these two same thing?

Waiting for HID Entitlements for MONTHS
Hi Apple support, We requested the 4 HID-related Entitlements back in December 2024. Similarly to another post here in the forums that was completely ignored, our request has NOT been processed for months. Mailing the support staff results in boilerplate email responses with no content, calling them results in a chat with very nice people who are unable to help since they can't seem to reach the entitlement team directly. Having to wait for MONTHS when dealing with one of the biggest and supposedly best companies in the world is beyond disappointing. Can anyone help? Is there anyone else that has had this same issue and that has found a work-around? I can share all necessary details. Thanks, Matteo

Here is my minimal reproducible example: import SwiftData import SwiftUI @main struct testApp: App { var body: some Scene { WindowGroup { ContentView() .modelContainer(for: Line.self, isAutosaveEnabled: false) } } } struct ContentView: View { @Environment(\.modelContext) var modelContext @Query(sort: \Production.title) var productions: [Production] var body: some View { NavigationStack { List(productions) { production in NavigationLink(value: production) { Text(production.title) } } .navigationDestination(for: Production.self) { production in ScriptView(production: production) } .toolbar { Button("Add", systemImage: "plus") { let production = Production(title: "Test \(productions.count + 1)") modelContext.insert(production) do { try modelContext.save() } catch { print(error) } } } .navigationTitle("Productions") } } } struct ScriptView: View { @Query private var lines: [Line] let production: Production @State private var isShowingSheet: Bool = false var body: some View { List { ForEach(lines) { line in Text(line.content) } } .toolbar { Button("Show Sheet") { isShowingSheet.toggle() } } .sheet(isPresented: $isShowingSheet) { TextEnterScriptView(production: production) } } } struct TextEnterScriptView: View { @Environment(\.dismiss) var dismiss @State private var text = "" @State private var lines: [Line] = [] let production: Production var body: some View { NavigationStack { TextEditor(text: $text) .onChange(of: text, initial: false) { lines = [Line(content: "test line", production: production)] } .toolbar { Button("Done") { dismiss() } } } } } @Model class Production { @Attribute(.unique) var title: String @Relationship(deleteRule: .cascade, inverse: \Line.production) var lines: [Line] = [] init(title: String) { self.title = title } } @Model class Line { var content: String var production: Production? init(content: String, production: Production?) { self.content = content self.production = production } }

I've noticed that SwiftData's @Relationship seems to potentially cause application crashes. The crash error is shown in the image. Since this crash appears to be random and I cannot reproduce it under specific circumstances, I can only temporarily highlight that this issue seems to exist. @Model final class TrainInfo { @Relationship(deleteRule: .cascade, inverse: \StopStation.trainInfo) var stations: [StopStation]? } @Model final class StopStation { @Relationship var trainInfo: TrainInfo? } /// some View var origin: StopStationDisplayable? { if let train = train as? TrainInfo { return train.stations?.first(where: { $0.isOrigin }) ?? train.stations?.first(where: { $0.isStarting }) } return nil } // Some other function or property func someFunction() { if let origin, let destination { // Function implementation } }

SwiftData crashes 100% when fetching history of a model that contains an optional codable property that's updated: SwiftData/Schema.swift:389: Fatal error: Failed to materialize a keypath for someCodableID.someID from CrashModel. It is possible that this path traverses a type that does not work with append(), please file a bug report with a test. Would really appreciate some help or even a workaround. Code: import Foundation import SwiftData import Testing struct VaultsSwiftDataKnownIssuesTests { @Test func testCodableCrashInHistoryFetch() async throws { let container = try ModelContainer( for: CrashModel.self, configurations: .init( isStoredInMemoryOnly: true ) ) let context = ModelContext(container) try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) // 1: insert a new value and save let model = CrashModel() model.someCodableID = SomeCodableID(someID: "testid1") context.insert(model) try context.save() // 2: check history it's fine. try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) // 3: update the inserted value before then save model.someCodableID = SomeCodableID(someID: "testid2") try context.save() // The next check will always crash on fetchHistory with this error: /* SwiftData/Schema.swift:389: Fatal error: Failed to materialize a keypath for someCodableID.someID from CrashModel. It is possible that this path traverses a type that does not work with append(), please file a bug report with a test. */ try SimpleHistoryChecker.hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: context) } } @Model final class CrashModel { // optional codable crashes. var someCodableID: SomeCodableID? // these actually work: //var someCodableID: SomeCodableID //var someCodableID: [SomeCodableID] init() {} } public struct SomeCodableID: Codable { public let someID: String } final class SimpleHistoryChecker { static func hasLocalHistoryChanges(context: ModelContext) throws { let descriptor = HistoryDescriptor<DefaultHistoryTransaction>() let history = try context.fetchHistory(descriptor) guard let last = history.last else { return } print(last) } }
