Hi Im creating an app with Alarmkit, the idea is to have the hardware buttons react like they do in Alarmclock with a snooze or if the buttons can just mute without intent. right now, hardware button end and dismisses the Alarm. its instinct to click that button. apple needs to update or do something.

We encountered an issue with iOS 26 and release version. We developed a voipout application and we created an entry in native call log on dev/prod version with our app that run under iOS 18.6 and earlier. On iOS 26 TestFlight version didn't create entry in call log but debug version did it. I don't find any clue in CallKit documentation for iOS 26 and we use action.fulfill(withDateStarted: .now) for call and end transaction and we develop under Xcode 26 Do you have any suggestion to solve our problems ?

I am still struggling to nail down the screen time between monitoring and showing it in a DeviceActivityReport. It's always off by a couple of percentage points, which results in a difference of a couple of minutes between the time shown for my total screen time in DeviceActivityReport and DeviceActivityMonitor with a threshold set for all apps/websites/categories. In the report, I am looping through all segment (there is only 1 segement using .daily segment interval for a given day) then loop through all categories and all apps within each category and sum up all totalActivityDuration for each app. Based on avaiable documentation, that should corrolate to DeviceActivityMonitor threshold but it doesn't. Are there any differences in how these 2 places count screen time? Are there any apps/core ios services which are excluded from DeviceActivityMonitor. Would appreciate any help at all, I'm losing my mind here. My current suspicion is that Apple Developer documentation is counted twice. i.e. this website https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/deviceactivity/deviceactivitymonitor shows up in usage as an App with bundleId of apple.developer.wwdc-release and time spent there is counted twice, against this bundleId AND Safari. I don't know why it's not counted as a webdomain.

Dear Apple Engineers： My app utilizes the App Clip experience. I would like to prevent the App Clip card from appearing when the host app is running in the foreground. How can this be achieved? I have observed that Alipay (in China) does not display an App Clip card when the device is tapped against a tag while the app is in the foreground, which indicates that this behavior is possible. If I have, say a doctor appointment in the Calendar app, and I'm leaving to go to it, the address will appear in Apple Maps on CarPlay. Forgive if I'm getting the details wrong, but I believe if I bring up the Map, it will be available to tap on, so I can quickly go there. I think it may also show up on one on the car-play screens that shows a few different panels. The point is, I really like this feature, and want to do it in my app. In my iOS app, the user can order food from a restaurant, and pick it up. I'm not ready to make this app a "quick service" app, but I want to give the user an easy to get to her location. Since I just ordered food, this means that I'll need to leave fairly quickly to go to the location. The Calendar app is able to offer a location because of scheduling, I'd like to do the same.

We integrated DeviceCheck framework into our app to prevent fraudulent call to our app service around one year ago. Recently, we received a few cases related to this function over Christmas Eve period. Based on the logs we have, it indicated both the following two functions returned errors. But we don't have the exactly errors logged and now we cannot replicate. DCAppAttestService.shared.attestKey() DCAppAttestService.shared.generateAssertion() The other finding we have is some users reporting this issue recently upgraded their devices from iOS 18 to iOS 26. So we are suspecting it's due to either the OS upgrading, or Apple's app attest service degrading. Anyone encountered the similar issues before, or have any idea regarding the root cause? Thanks!

I changed the AppIcon in Images.xcassets,and distribute a new version on appstore;The icon have changed on the desktop, but elsewhere, such as when switching between apps, the top left corner shows the old version of the icon.When I restart my phone,the top left corner show the new version of the icon;My phone is iPhone 13 Pro Max,iOS 18.4.1;Is there other ways to resolve the problem without restart the phone?

AgeRangeService is the burning topic right now. Needless to say, Everything is so unclear. We got our app finally into the TestFlight for QA and the product to test. only to find out that AgeAssurance for sandbox testing does not work. There is no document confirming or denying whether and when age assurance for the App with the release configuration in test flight would work. There isn't any guidance from Apple on whether an app that sells physical goods, such as an e-commerce app, can continue doing business as usual. Also, there is no clarity that the Age assurance options are off, 13, unverified, 13 verified, and so on. How those should be used.

Hi everyone, I’ve removed my App Clip completely: Deleted all Advanced App Clip Experiences Removed the App Clip target from my build Removed App Clip references from my apple-app-site-association file Deleted the meta tag from my website: But when I scan the QR code, the App Clip card still appears with: "This App Clip is not currently available in your country or region." Does anyone know why this is still showing and how to fully remove it? we need to show our website when this QRCode is scanned. Thanks!

My app updates are repeatedly rejected under Guideline 2.3.6 – Accurate Metadata, with a request to remove “Age Assurance” unless the feature can be located. However, the app does include age assurance. During onboarding, users must enter their date of birth, and users under 16 are blocked from completing registration and using the app. The app contains a women’s health blog and a community Q&A feature (similar to Reddit), where users can ask and answer health-related questions. For this reason, I am considering restricting access to users 18 and older. Each time I explain this to the review team and provide a screenshot of the DOB screen, the app is approved. What is the correct way to document or surface this in App Store Connect so reviewers can easily find it and avoid repeated rejections? Is a DOB gate sufficient for Apple’s definition of Age Assurance?

I am using the WeatherKit REST API with hourlyStart/hourlyEnd parameters to request up to 240 hours of forecast data. However, when requesting later in the day, the API returns fewer than 240 hourly forecasts — e.g., 239 at 08:00, 238 at 09:00, etc. and goes up to 224 for 23:00 It appears the returned list is contiguous but truncated at the end compared to the full 240-hour window. I have also tried getting the data after sometime, like 09:00 data at 09:45 but still was missing the same data at the end. Is this expected WeatherKit behavior or a bug? If it’s expected, is there documentation explaining how the “forecast horizon” is determined and when it is updated? Thank you.

I am implementing a custom SMS filter using the IdentityLookup framework. My goal is to authenticate the network requests made via context.deferQueryRequestToNetwork using a user-specific JWT token generated in the containing (main) app after a successful login.

I'm new to the Screen Time API and trying to block custom websites, but I can't get WebDomain tokens to work. When I create a WebDomain like WebDomain(domain: "reddit.com"), the token property is always nil. I have proper authorization and the app works fine for blocking apps, but website blocking just won't work. I'm confused because I see apps like JOMO that let users type in any website domain and successfully block it using Screen Time API. They have the same 49 domain limit and only ask for Screen Time permission, so they must be using the same API I am. But somehow their WebDomain tokens work and mine don't. I've tried creating the tokens right after getting authorization and during the FamilyActivityPicker session, but still get nil. Am I missing some setup step or API call that makes WebDomain tokens valid? Any help would be really appreciated since I'm stuck on this.

I have a watch only app that display an open/close park status and the current temperature with a current condition icon. That's it. On second submission the watch app was rejected due to no WeatherKit attribution. I have a lack of clarity of what's needed. With my single view that display my content I don't want WeatherKit attribution to overwhelm what's being presented to the user. I've tried looking for watch apps in the store that provide attribution and I'm not finding any. Looking for advice on how to meet this requirement without attribution overpowering my content.

Hi Team, We’re encountering a device-specific issue with our SMS Message Filter extension. The extension works as expected on an iPhone 11 running iOS 16.6, but it does not trigger on an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 16.7. Key Observations: The extension is implemented using ILMessageFilterExtension and calls messageFilterOffline(appGroupIdentifier:for:) from our shared library. The App Group is properly configured and accessible across the app and extension. The extension is enabled under Settings > Messages > Unknown & Spam. There are no crashes or error logs reported on the affected device. The issue is consistently reproducible — it works on one device but not the other. We’re wondering if this could be a regression or a device-specific behavior change introduced in iOS 16.7. Has anyone encountered similar inconsistencies in Message Filter extensions across different iOS versions or device models? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
