- Kushal discussed ways for the PSF to help PyCon India with non-profit issues. Van suggestions PyCon India to become a PSF working group so the funding stays within an US entity. Working group would pay the invoices directly so the money is never sent to India but to direct vendors. Van will ping a tax attorney for clarification on this setup
- Van has proposed to the board that the PSF hire on a full-time employee to assist the secretary, event coordinator, and treasurer. The board is open to this idea and the next step for us is to create a position description with all tasks involved for new hire. This will not happen until after PyCon 2015.
15 Adjournment
Van Lindberg adjourned the meeting at 17:00 UTC.
