Job Description

Job Title: Senior Backend Python Developer Location: Bengaluru (Onsite) Experience: 5–8 Years Notice Period: Immediate / ≤15 days

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Backend Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and services. The role involves working on enterprise systems that handle data, integrations, and high-volume traffic.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend applications using Python (Flask / FastAPI) • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Work with relational databases and optimize queries • Build scalable solutions on cloud platforms (AWS) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions • Participate in debugging, performance tuning, and production support

Required Skills & Experience • 5–8 years of backend development experience • Strong hands-on expertise in Python • Experience with Flask or FastAPI • Solid database knowledge (Postgres / MySQL) • Understanding of microservices & cloud architecture • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have • Kafka / messaging systems • Docker & Kubernetes • Search platforms or large-scale backend systems • Exposure to AI/ML integrations

Requirements

Mandatory Technical Requirements:

Framework Expertise (Critical): You must have strong proficiency in FastAPI (approx. 80% of experience) combined with Flask (approx. 20%). We are specifically looking for candidates where FastAPI is the primary strength.

Total Experience: 5–8 years of professional software development experience. Language: Expert-level command of Python for backend systems. Database: Strong skills in SQL, specifically with PostgreSQL or MySQL (including query optimization). Cloud & Architecture: Hands-on experience with AWS and designing Microservices. Tools: Proficient with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

Location & Logistics: Location: Bengaluru, India (Onsite). Notice Period: Immediate or maximum 15 days notice.
