- Evaluate the quality of data to ensure alignment with economic trends, public data sources such as Census, IRS, and other relevant datasets, as well as some private data sources.
- Develop and maintain large-scale ETL pipelines, storage, and processing services for economic data.
- Implement and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark for handling large datasets.
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists and engineers to create scalable data assets and econometric models.
- Utilize public datasets such as Census and IRS for economic research and analysis.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to determine the most impactful models and analyses.
- Contribute to econometrics research and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
Compensation: We offer a very competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary, bonus, and equity, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling big data using Python and PySpark.
- Familiarity with public datasets such as Census, IRS, and other relevant economic data sources.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Practical hands-on programming experience in Python, PySpark, R, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services sectors such as banking, insurance, or wealth management.
- Familiarity with Linux, cloud data engineering and machine learning platforms, preferably AWS, AWS SageMaker, AWS EMR, or AWS Lambda.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.

He published several high-impact journal articles and has been granted patents on machine learning techniques.
We are seeking an Econometrist Engineer who will play a crucial role in transforming and ensuring the integrity of large-scale data into actionable insights. Our clients include top-tier financial services firms, insurance companies, asset managers, and global consulting firms. You will have the opportunity to work with unique and proprietary data sets, including Census and IRS data, to drive impactful economic analyses and solutions.
